Over Stock has all the items a person may need everything from clothing to gadgets and furniture. Fast shipping and nice people customer service are top line five star so feel safe feel comfortable and shop even on the phone there happy to help don't get discouraged they have it. I love them Overstock awesome...
Product I received had missing parts. We tried to buy some from hardware but two major crossbars are missing. Now they say we don't have the parts, take the whole thing apart, find a box and pay the postage to send it back to us. If it is this bad, and you can't fix it then send a new one. You get various coupons, many which are expired. How is it fair to charge different people different amounts for the same product. My other purchase which was a vacuum was of poor quality and seemed used. What does Overstock mean anyway. I think it means over the hill, over priced, over hyped but definitely not over any expectations. Extremely disappointed and will never use this website or company for purchases. I will let my consumer friends know why I have been so frustrated and outraged by the service that seems nice but accomplishes absolutely nothing. How embarrassing.

We had ordered a comforter for our master bedroom and as the picture it was prefect. Delivery was right on time even in the time.
Not too often do I find great deals here but the couple times I have the order arrived quicky. Worth scoping out when searching for a deal
I ordered a Gayle 52" wine bar on July 11 and paid 50 dollars for 'white glove' service (place it in the room of my choice and remove all the packing material). 3 weeks later I received an email from their shipping company asking me to set up a delivery date, with a number to call. I called the number and received the following message "due to an extremely high volume of calls we cannot take your call at this time, please call back later" no way to leave a message. I call back 4 times and each time, throughout the day, no matter the time of day, get the same message. I finally get through after a few days (!) to a person who says my deliver "window" is 8 AM to 8 PM on a Tuesday. Meaning I have to take an entire day off to monitor my front door and wait for delivery. It came in the afternoon and when I unpacked it it was damaged. I refused the delivery. On the same day I put in a ticket to Overstock saying I refused the delivery and would like a refund. I got an automated response that said "customer service will contact you within 24 hours". Days passed and no response, but they did refuse to publish my one star review of this product.
I paid 1300 dollars for this item. It came damaged. I refused it, never signed for it and it went back on the truck same day. I have contacted the company multiple times with no response, no refund, nothing. Total silence.
I will contact my credit card company and request a charge back. If this company has done the same kind of thing to you, google "chargeback" and take it up with your credit card company. In cases where the product was defective or not delivered to you, the issuer will investigate your claim against the merchant and, if it finds it meritorious, will remove the funds from the merchant's account and put it in yours. You have to have proof, which I do... I have a video of the delivery on my security camera, showing me refusing the product, and it being put back on the truck, I also have my delivery paperwork showing "refused" and no signature from me on the form, and all the emails, chats etc I have had with Overstock showing absolutely no movement on their part to refund me the money.
I purchased a Sheesham coffee table from overstock. It arrived in destination city 5 days before it was delivered. Delivery guy mishandled box. 2'x5'x2' and 112 lbs. had it on a 2wheeled cart on its end & flipped it end over end twice to get up on porch & thru my door. You could hear pieces inside box tumbling. Top of table had 12 in crack at corner. It had 6 slideout drawers that were completely inside & not flush with face of table. Extreme damage to rails that drawers slide on. Backstop piece keeps drawers from sliding into unit was broken hence they were inside tossing & turning with each flip of the box. Then it's taking a week to be picked back up by same delivery service that broke it. EFW. They got paid to deliver it & will get paid againTo pick it up after they broke it Table was nowhere near packaged correctly. Drawers were not secured. Minimal styrofoam was used. A 4 inch piece on each corner and a couple l shaped pieces in between. A thin sheet wrapped around it. When I opened box, corner pieces were ‘floating' on top of table leaving no protection at all on corners. Over all a terrible experience. I will say that Katie, the lady(CSR) From Overstock I dealt with was very professional & stayed in contact with me during this process of returning this table. It does look nice in the picture. And actually looked nice on the outside except for the crack. Drawers and internal workings were kinda chincy for a $700 coffee table.
Trying to return something is impossible you cannot get in touch with anyone to start the return of an item

I mainly come here for furniture or home furnishing stuff, not clothes or shoes. You can find some great deals and some items not find on other site.
Approximately 6 weeks ago they were having a huge 40-60% off sale. I found 4 great unlocked phones that normally cost $600-as the highest and $200 the lowest- they were 40-50% off. I attempted to finalize my purchase 4 times for 3 of the 4 devices I found- all to no avail.
I then wrote customer service and e-mail explaining what occurred-and asking their assistance as not to lose out these great opportunities. I received an e-mail for me to contact them. So I called 4-5 times- each time I was transferred by their customer service people to other departments- until I was disconnected. This happened not once but 4 times. So I wrote them again- well the time expited and though I did receive an e-mail stating someone would contact me with 24 hrs- that time frame came and went. Now they are stating that I failed to call them and attempting to place their incompetence onto me and blaming me for failing to act as instructed. False- this has happened before-whereas I had to contact their Executive Department in Corporate-and someone with a title did call me and assisted me in resolving an on going problem. I resent- that their incompetence-with their computer glitch- their failure to transfer and disconnect me-and finally their audacity in attempting to blame me for their mistakes disallowed me an incredible opportunity to buy a great phone for an incredible price.
So the 3 times I have used Overstock- twice I had to contact Executive to resolve my issue- and this time their audacity it turning facts around to blame me for their errors-Folks I don't think I would use Overstock again- never had such problems with Amazon-Best Buy-Tiger Direct etc. and if there was an error someone from their corporate office's called me promptly to resolve the issue usually as a good business does to their patrons.
Overstock has proven again and again- that they care very little about their customers-unless Corporate is involved.
So avoid the headaches-the computer glitches- the false accusations- go elsewhere you work for your money- when you want to buy something you shouldn't have to work at spending it too.
A very un happy soon to be ex patron.

I ordered a dining room set which was named Gracy Transitional Medium Brown Ladder Back 5-piece Dining Set and listed at $877.49, This is a very small table with 4 chairs. I was expecting decent quality both from the description on Overstock and the price. However what arrived was a total piece of junk. My husband spent a lot of time putting it together and each of the chairs wobbles by at least 2 inches. The quality is super cheap. I went on Overstock to see if there were any reviews and it stated that the product was out of stock and there were no reviews. I looked at the box that the table and chairs had arrived in and googled that. What came up was a Shasta dining set from Coaster Furniture. Indeed it was the exact same photo that was used to advertise this Gracy Transitional set on Overstock. The kicker this Shasta set was selling everywhere else for less than 1/2 what I paid. In fact I found it for as little $319 elsewhere. I called Overstock irate and told them I would be returning the table and to refund my credit card. They told me I had to disassemble the table and get it back in the boxes. Hell no we just spent hours putting together this piece of crap that you falsely advertised. I have been calling them daily for almost a week now and getting a total run around. Their customer service beyond sucks and they told me that it is an issue between me and the oversize delivery company. What? The oversized delivery company did not change the name on a product and more than double the price. The oversized delivery company did not sell me chairs that are super flimsy and wobble all over the place. Buyer beware. Never order furniture from Overstock.
I love shopping here! Although some of the prices are not as great as Id expect. Nevertheless, the quality and selection have been great!

Ordered a headboard... delivered damaged twice... found a cheaper one on Amazon and was delivered right the first time.

I recently ordered a wooden computer desk with hutch from Overstock. It is indeed as pictured and described. It is nice piece of furniture (at over $1000 I was hesitant with to order.) It exceeded our expectation and we're pleased with the desk/hutch combo.
That being said there was some minor 'assembly required' and no instructions. I say that not because it was a problem but because if you didn't have a drill and screw driver some mechanical intuition you might not install the small brackets to secure the hutch to the desk. Drilling a small pilot hole for the screws will help prevent splitting the wood when you attach the bracket.
The only problems were with the delivery service - first, it uses a robo call to schedule delivery (not a live person.) Our call screening blocks robo calls so we missed the first couple attempts to schedule the delivery. It was only when I reviewed the caller id log at the end of the week and looked up the new blocked call numbers on the internet that I saw the delivery service was calling. The second problem was with the delivery itself. Overstock's site was very clear that free delivery was to the door and I paid extra for to the room and unpacking. When the shipment arrived I was informed that it only included door delivery but they'll do extra for tips. Whoa, I didn't appreciate having to explain to the delivery person that I had already paid extra. They delivered into the room but I gave them a pass on unpacking - with the desk and the hutch it got rather tight and would have been better unpacked before being brought in.
Historically, our local businesses have been more concerned with good customer service. I for one like good customer service and will have to think real hard about ordering big items over the internet.
I purchased a few things from them half of it did not work correctly back then they did not have a return policy not sure now
Navigating the Overstock website is frustrating as the webmaster and anyone else involved in designing it, has crowded so much information on the pages that unless you know exactly what you're doing, you will probably have questions about the products. I would be very wary of the consumer REVIEWS on the website since Overstock.com keeps pushing buyers to leave reviews of products and reviews of the site in general since you get added discounts for reviews--the more reviews the better the discounts, but it's fairly apparent the reviews had better be four or five stars. Just to experiment I looked up comforters for $30 or less since comforters that cheap have been poorly made from my experience. All reviews were 4 or 5 stars! As a comparison, I looked at the site of one of Overstock's competitors, and there were plenty of 3 star reviews and even a couple of 2 star reviews for furniture/furnishings. Most likely, people are leaving better reviews on overstock to get discounts for future purchases. The site I used as a comparison didn't mention any such offer. I ordered an item, which was advertised as 'easy to assemble.' It wasn't! Besides that, the item--which I needed quickly--had a delivery date but the delivery was two days late, and too late for my being able to use the item. As it turned out, to return the item required a $60.00 (sixty dollar) return fee which was hardly worth it given that was 50% of the purchase price. Now, if the website provided easy links to return policies, I wouldn't be that upset, but to find the policies requires searching through lots of menus. I've been using computers for 30 years, and it was hard for me to find their policy. Regarding customer service, I spoke to someone that clearly did not understand a simple inquiry I had. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the person, and while the person (I'm trying to be gender neutral) acted as though I had communicated clearly, it became apparent later on that the person didn't. BTW, after your purchase, you'll get lots of thank you emails for your trouble, and questionnaires to fill out so they can improve their quality control. The best and smartest way to improve your shopping experience is to take your business elsewhere.
Better prices than most of the competition, but then again, the quality of their merchandise isn't top-rate either.
