Over Stock has all the items a person may need everything from clothing to gadgets and furniture. Fast shipping and nice people customer service are top line five star so feel safe feel comfortable and shop even on the phone there happy to help don't get discouraged they have it. I love them Overstock awesome...

“Products are subpar and pricing is incomprehensible”

Product I received had missing parts. We tried to buy some from hardware but two major crossbars are missing. Now they say we don't have the parts, take the whole thing apart, find a box and pay the postage to send it back to us. If it is this bad, and you can't fix it then send a new one. You get various coupons, many which are expired. How is it fair to charge different people different amounts for the same product. My other purchase which was a vacuum was of poor quality and seemed used. What does Overstock mean anyway. I think it means over the hill, over priced, over hyped but definitely not over any expectations. Extremely disappointed and will never use this website or company for purchases. I will let my consumer friends know why I have been so frustrated and outraged by the service that seems nice but accomplishes absolutely nothing. How embarrassing.

I've had great experiences with some overstock.com items and prices, and also a few other times where items arrived broken or were not worth the price. I'm happy to report, though, that the overstock customer service has been fantastic every time and they have always been willing and happy to make sure I've been satisfied with an item.

I purchased an item and when it arrived, it was completely different than described. In returning the item, these criminals still charged me a restocking fee even though the apathetic customer service representative confirmed that the item was different than shown.
This was several years ago and I still stick with my own policy of never ordering from this charlatan company ever again.

Great values and deals are to be found at Overstock.com. Anyone who is a "smart shopper," can probably tell you about this website. It is well known that Overstock offers numerous products and merchandise at discounted prices, and they have a great customer service department. Often times I browse their website just to see all the great offerings. All of my purchases at Overstock were fulfilled to my liking, and I have absolutely no complaints to make about their website.

Overstock.com will not price-match if you find the same item for less money from another supplier. They will tell you that you must join the Overstock Club at the time you make your purchase to get price-matching, but they don't tell you this when you make your purchase, thus they avoid price matching. There is absolutely no wording regarding price-match when you confirm and pay for an order on their website. I will not shop with them again.

Tip for consumers:
Be advised that if you find your purchase from another supplier for less money, Overstock will not price-match unless you join their Overstock Club at the time of your purchase, which they don't tell you about at the time you order and pay for your item. If you are buying an expensive item you should shop elsewhere.

I have found many items there to be a good bargain some others a price much higher that the usual places, and teh refurbished electronics I certainly don't recommend them. Still they have good return policies and shipping prices.

Have some good products at competitive prices. However, their return policy is awful. We recently purchased a $33 area rug. The color was not consistent with what was on the site and the product quality was very poor. We called to return it and were told we'd have to pay $19 return shipping - 57% of the cost of the product. I've shopped at Zappos and Amazon for ages and never had to pay for return shipping under the same circumstances. I spent far too long on the chat with the customer service rep. Finally, they agreed to pay for the return shipping on a "one time only" basis. Yes, it will be one time only because we'll not shop there again...

Buyers Beware! I have been an Overstock customer for a number of years but have now deleted my account because of poor customer service and anti-customer return policies (as well as much higher pricing than other vendors). I requested to speak to a customer service manager via email and in phone calls several times to discuss their return policy which I believe was not properly followed in my return. The CSR ignored my request on the phone and my emails were ignored. Again, buyers beware!

UPDATE: 1/30/19
Overstock finally agreed to refund the original purchase price. I'm still waiting for it to clear with the credit card company, but at least they did the right thing.

ORIGINAL:
We purchased some Queen sheets on 12/17/2018 with a promised delivery of 12/20. The package was lost in shipment (somewhere between FedEx and USPS). Now 3 weeks later, we've repeatedly asked Overstock to cancel the order because the shipment is clearly lost. Overstock refuses and says they have to wait until its delivered before they will refund. So we're out the full cost because of their lost shipment. We have no idea when (or if) the package will be delivered. Avoid this company unless you enjoy frustration and pain.

They didn't send me an email conformation or a shipping notification. I'm not very happy with the product I received. It's just a dog treat canister, so I guess I'll just keep it. I noticed the refund policy says they only give a partial refund for opened items. I doubt I'll be shopping here again.

Love this site. Quality products no shipping fee and fast! Havent had to return anything yet. Once i called CS because they forgot to apply an additional 10% to my order and it was processed immediately with an apology. I use this site all the time!

I used to love this company, but lately they have gone the wrong way and use whatever retailer to make the sale happen. So instead of ordering everything from overstock, you end up ordering from different companies that have bad return policies and restocking fees. I ordered a patio table and overstock told me what chairs to buy to go with the set, so I just ordered them thinking nothing. The chairs come and than the table, well they are totally different material and color and do not match. I was so upset. I find that the chairs came from a different seller and I would need to pay shipping back, which would cost a lot since I have 5 boxes of 2 chairs each. Overstock doesn't care that they matched the set and so now basically I am stuck with this huge set that doesn't match. I will not be purchasing from them every again!

This place deals with 3 rd party sellers. They don't control the sellers. Instead they let them screw people over. Then they say oh well that is through a Market place seller so we will email them that you called. Ha it's a joke! Then the 3 rd party seller will ask you stupid questions such as " please give your email address so we can provide you with a return label" ha this was sent to my email. Same email smart one. Then I provide the email and then they ask " do u want to return just the tables or all of the set?" Well smart one I bought this as a set so I do believe I want to return the whole set. Stay tuned for the next stupid question they are about to ask. The table showed up and was round!

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!

I ordered alphabet stamps for my classroom. I received 2 large boxes of children's wooden blocks instead. The return went smoothly, but I just received the replacement - another box of children's wooden blocks. Seems like such a simple order - if they can't handle that - why would anyone order anything from this company?!

It is not a bad site at all and is pretty reliable. You can find some good deals. Personally I think Amazon is superior to Overstock on customer service, low prices, and delivery time but this one is definitely worth considering and a good company to do business with.

I don't know what it going on at Overstock but there has definitely been a shift in service. I have ordered from Overstock for YEARS but my experience with them 3 weeks ago was so horrible that I will never purchase another item through them again. As of current date, my order status is still in limbo and charges are still pending on my account for an order that was cancelled almost a month ago. Buyer beware - there is something not right going on at Overstock.

I ordered an item that was missing a minor part. Rather than work to send a new part, customer service immediately offered no solution other than a return or a very small refund. They followed that up with a demand to accept their options or they would simply close the case. I do not recommend ordering from this company. It was the worst customer service I have experienced online.

I ordered a golf set and was disappointed when only half of it arrived, a few clubs, not all listed and not the bag. I called Customer Care and they had no idea where the rest of the order was and could not send replacements or a similar substitute. I have not heard back from them since my original call or email. It is frustrating to spend $10 to return half an order that they messed up.

I ordered a lamp which would not stand up straight. It was a large arching lamp that was too top heavy once the shade was attached. It leaned and would tip over if even slightly touched (like to turn it on...). It was "free" shipping until I needed to return it, then it cost me $54. Seems wrong to have to pay them to discover they have a faulty product. I will not buy from overstock again.

I placed an order for two rugs on Monday. I used my name and billing but somehow used my boyfriends credit card number, which was first number on file. I called and explained what happened. ( within the hour). I cancelled the order and said I'd reorder with the correct credit card number. I look online and see the cancelled order and second order still being processed. So I online chat with a lady and she says it will be fixed. Today ( two days later) I get an email stating that they shipped both orders. This is the worst company ever!

Shopping around for an item, and found it on overstock. Read the description, the color said brown. I placed the order and found out, by chance, that the color was actually white. Exactly want I did not want. I requested, in less than one business day, that my order be cancelled. Its been over a week. After repeated attempts to cancel via phone calls, emails and online chats, nobody was able to cancel the order. In fact nobody from overstock could tell me anything definite for 4 or 5 days, and then it was, "Sorry, your item has shipped." Overstock can take your order and charge your credit in the blink of an eye, but getting your money back is a long, drawn-out and needlessly frustrating process, and after a week they still have my $1,000+. AVOID OVERSTOCK AT ALL COSTS!

Overstock contacted me after this review & sent me the replacement parts at no charge to me. They had to send me another dresser for me to get the parts I need and return the rest, but they paid for the shipping. Their pro-active actions have changed my opinion & I will now continue doing business with them in the future.

This should be a zero star. I bought a dresser from them, and it came with a broken plastic leg. It also had horrible assembly instructions and quite difficult to do - took 4 hours. When I stood the dresser up another leg broke. I went to their website and requested replacement parts. Never heard back so I had to call them. They said it would cost me $28 to get replacement parts plus shipping. I told them that that's unacceptable, so I wanted a return & refund. They told me I would have to pay the return shipment label of $240. Basically, they accept no responsibility for their cheap products. I wrote a review like this one on their website for this product & they removed it. So, their reviews are censored. I will never do business with them ever and you should not either.

Ordered my daughter's mattress set on December 6 and finally having it delivered on January 5. It took one month because the delivery company, M XD, kept calling my work phone after business hours. When I would call M XD back and the phone number provided, I would get an automated response and then get cut off. I had to contact Overstock at least 6 times (after getting nowhere with M XD) and was completely frustrated at the lack of customer service and inability to fix a simple problem. Their "customer service specialists" and managers are useless! I was happy to take delivery of my purchase but could not get through to schedule delivery.

In the mean time, I ordered another bed through Amazon after I placed the above order and received it a week later with no problems.

I've used Overstock 6 times now and I'm finally saying NEVER AGAIN! There has been a problem with every order. Poor quality is a common problem, but you can't expect quality at their prices. What you should be able to expect though is getting the correct order, and they frequently send the wrong thing, or miss an item from an order. Move on. Buy elsewhere. Overstock SUCKS!

The sectional I purchased arrived with the tear in the back that looks like it was stabbed with the fork from a lift truck. I sent a message to customer service and it said that I would receive a response within a day, but I have yet to hear back. I also left a review for the product and they denied that as well.
