Over Stock has all the items a person may need everything from clothing to gadgets and furniture. Fast shipping and nice people customer service are top line five star so feel safe feel comfortable and shop even on the phone there happy to help don't get discouraged they have it. I love them Overstock awesome...

“Products are subpar and pricing is incomprehensible”

Product I received had missing parts. We tried to buy some from hardware but two major crossbars are missing. Now they say we don't have the parts, take the whole thing apart, find a box and pay the postage to send it back to us. If it is this bad, and you can't fix it then send a new one. You get various coupons, many which are expired. How is it fair to charge different people different amounts for the same product. My other purchase which was a vacuum was of poor quality and seemed used. What does Overstock mean anyway. I think it means over the hill, over priced, over hyped but definitely not over any expectations. Extremely disappointed and will never use this website or company for purchases. I will let my consumer friends know why I have been so frustrated and outraged by the service that seems nice but accomplishes absolutely nothing. How embarrassing.

This product was listed As-Is. But listing said to be fully functional. It was NOT fully functional as it was missing parts and could not be used at all. I called them to complain. But, they would not accept a return. I will never do business with them again. You'll do much better buying items on ebay as their sellers are actually incented to stand behind their sales and make the customer happy. Overstock doesn't care.

Customer service is horrible. I returned a vanity light almost a year ago & have documents that show the return with a zero balance. It's the only purchase I made with their Comenity Bank credit card & should have a credit balance. I made a $50 payment to keep my account from being reported negatively during their investigation. My credit rating was over 750 before this, now it's fluctuating around 625. Overstock has been of no help & I've sent documentation to Comenity multiple times. It's damaging my credit score terribly. They're saying I owe almost $300 for a light that was returned that only cost about $150 originally. They're harassing me non-stop and it's super stressful. I fear I'm going to have to pay for a debt I did not incur, just to keep the situation from hurting me more. I've disputed it on all credit reports but have had no help.
Would not recommend Comenity or Overstock. They're both HORRIBLE.

Tip for consumers:
Would not buy anything you’re not 100% sure you want. Returns are a nightmare. Do NOT take the bait & get their Comenity Credit Card!!! Horrible!!! If you need to return & you use the credit card, it’s like an act of God To get the charge removed from the account. I’m being harassed for an item - the ONLY item - I purchased but returned. They have charged so many fees, what they’re saying is my balance is double the original cost of the item that was returned!! I’m so frustrated at Overstock!

I ordered a new dining room set on April 30th. Spent nearly $1,000, read ok the site that I cant cancel any orders and 5 days later the status still says it's processing at the warehouse. And then I find out that I can only text to talk to customer service. Unacceptable.

Ordered 2 gorgeous nightstands from Overstock as they had by far the best price and availability on them. One arrived damaged and Overstock took care of it easily and graciously. I highly recommend ordering from Overstock due to their low pricing and exceptional customer service.

Placed an order at 10am, then tried to cancel one hour later. Very difficult to reach anyone. On line chat a lot of blah, blah, blah and broken promises. Bottom line they can't cancel the item so they are sending it so i can return it and pay a restocking fee. Will never use them again. Buyer beware.

These guys are out of the 19th century! They make returns murder. Unless the item is defective, you have to pay return shipping AND a restocking fee, though I've found that their online descriptions are often inadequate or confusing, so that you are liable to receive an item that is not what you expected. Won't shop there again.

How are they 3 1/2 stars here. Read the reviews. Worse company ever! I was never refunded all my money when I returned their low quality and damaged items I bought. It took many phone calls, many texts, and many emails plus a lot of time and stress to get partially refunded. The customer service doesn't know what they are doing. I received different answers from different customer service reps. I ordered several items. They are all shipped separately on different dates. Some items were badly damaged on arrival. All the items were low quality. And there's a strong smell like a chemical smell on the items. Everything is from China. Did I say-Worse company ever! I have never had such a bad experiece. It was shocking. It took over a month to get a partial refund. I guess that's how they make their money.

Tip for consumers:
Shop somewhere else.

I had to return a Patio Table Umbrella. I'm thankful for the fact that Overstock.com accepted my return several days after the grace day return period and for that I would rate them a 4-Star. The box was somewhat heavier than I'd expected, but I managed with not much strife. The difficult part came when trying to set the umbrella upright. The "Abba Patio Solar Powered Aluminum Rectangular LED Light Tilt Umbrella" was too hard for a 5'3" female to hoist up because it's top-heavy. I was able to assemble it, but trying to get the pole in the hole of my table almost caused me to tumble over several times. It's of no use if it can't be set up safely or dismantled by one person. Based on my frustration and inability to see the umbrella fully set up is why I rated the product a 2-Star. The manufacturer may want to address this issue on the labeling of the product as it's a huge selling factor.

Just a heads up, the 12/18 month free interest promotions are not as they appear. If you have several purchases on their promotions they DO NOT apply the extra payment to cover the next promotion you have coming due, they will roll it elsewhere so they nail you with the interest. They are saying you have to CALL them, 45 minute wait, and tell them which promotion you want it applied to. What a gimmick! Im closing my business account with them, good luck!

I was really excited to order my new bed on Black Friday. Loved the sale price for what I was getting. Unfortunately for me, I will never see that bed. My bed is "unable to locate" and also out of stock now. I am moving into a small studio so needed a storage bed for practicality. Since my bed is out of stock and unable to locate they can only match the sale price I paid. The problem with this is they do not have anything in stock now and told me I need to pay upfront for another bed (after already paying for one that was lost). Their customer service is one of the most unprofessional, unreliable, and very quick to tell me it was not Overstock's fault. Every time I spoke to someone different, they told me something different. At the end of the day, I am left paying more than double what was planned and will not have a bed for 3-4 weeks. That is assuming the bed is delivered this time.

Placed an order I needed for a client and paid for expedited shipping. It became clear from the tracking number and status They didn't send it expedited. While they agreed to refund the extra shipping charges IF and only AFTER the item didn't arrive on time (as in call back and let us know and you will get your refund). They refused to overnight the item to ensure their obligation was honored although there was time for that. Web "helper" was rude and sarcastic not to mention unhelpful. Will take my thousands elsewhere.

My wife and I ordered a bunch of new bed sheet sets, within 6 months all had lost their elastic bands, some started to wear thru and some tore down the seams, their prices were that good, their shipping was over priced and took almost two weeks to get to us. We have never shopped there again and will never shop there again!

Love this place for the selection, but hate it for the cheap quality and the fact that many times, what you get is not the same as what you see in the picture. You really have to read the reviews to figure out if the item is worth purchasing or not, so I spend a lot of time doing that.

Be very careful. I've been following a carpet. The prices have ranged from 105 to 175. And customer service says, "Sorry marketing sets the prices so I can't help you." I requested a call from someone in marketing or higher, nothing.

These were not on sale prices. These were the regular prices. So if you shop with them, be careful.

I am an online shopper that almost hates going to the malls. I buy nearly everything that can be bought from on line retailers. Have been buying from Overstock for years. They are great for outer wears. Fantastic price and high quality products for coats, sweater and jackets. Pretty good selection for comforters, bead spreads etc. too. Not too good for dresses and certainly no no for jeans and pants.

Super slow shipping, i ordered an item on august 1st and they took my money instantly then a day later an email said item has shipped via ups and would be delivered on the 15th of august so a half a month for delivery.! Ive been tracking my package via ups website and its been all over the united states.! Whats up with that.? Pissed consumer for sure

I ordered a King size 11" mattress priced around $450 and received a package about 5 days after I ordered it. Looking at the package I thought to myself "wow, no way this is my mattress, it is so small". Low and behold, I was right and the mattress was actually an 8" Queen size. Called support the same day and was told I would be getting my actual mattress the Friday of the same week (4 days). I was then called by support that Wednesday about my problem and was told the mattress would be shipped after they got my info. The shipping was then pushed to the next Monday. I was offered no free overnight shipping or any other reimbursement for their mistake, and I have been sleeping on an air mattress since last Thursday because of their screw up and I still have not gotten my mattress. Terrible communication, terrible corporate&shipping management, just overall terrible. Very dissatisfied.

When purchasing furniture, I always go to Overstock.com. Just a month ago, I ordered a recliner chair, it was better than advertised and really reasonable. However, I keep falling asleep and missing the end of a movie, but that's okay, really comfy. Also ordered a memory foam topper - great price and again comfy. Have ordered a lot and very happy with service and shipping. Never had to send anything back.

Beware if ordering from Overstock.com. They took 6 weeks to deliver the merchandise, then substituted a cheaper item. Because it took 6 weeks to arrive, the price guarantee Overstock.com offers did not apply. After 30 minutes dealing with the on-line rep, he informed me that all the company would do is offer a $15 credit towards my next order. The $15 doesn't even cover the price difference between what I paid for and what I was sent, let alone the aggravation. Nor would they offer to pay for the return of the items that were sent that weren't what I ordered. A $15 credit! Like I would ever shop there again.

Ok, the same items that was given to me & my wife were seldom used till this year. This month, I needed to sit on one of the cheaply made leather dinning chairs to fix my son's toy. This chair two front legs shot forward to the ground. Luckily I didn't tear an acl.

We have ordered all of our living room tables, 2 bedroom sets and a fire pit from Overstock, and we couldn't be more pleased! Everything is absolutely beautiful and of the highest quality as far as the materials and construction go. We only had one issue with our fire pit, as it had a dent in it when we took it out of the box, but after contacting their customer support team, we received a $40 refund on our purchase. (We didn't even ask for one, only wanted them to be aware of the damage). Great company, highly recommend!

I purchased two VIGO kitchen faucets at overstock.com and installed them both. One leaked from the start. I thought I was going to have to battle overstock.com because I actually installed the leaking faucet (though you kind of have to install a faucet to know if it leaks!), but when I started an online chat with their support, they were amazing. They issues a free return label and ordered a new replacement faucet right then and there for free as well! The support person was expedient and professional! The new replacement faucet came in 4 days and I just installed and no leaks! I love overstock.com!

BEWARE if you return an item from Canada you will need to get back the duty from the government which is near impossible. If you return an item because of buyers remorse you pay the shipping and insurance. The entire ordeal cost be $100.00 in my losses. Overstock.ca switched me to Overstock.com and I was unaware I was on a U.S. website. The merchandise was of good quality and it arrived quickly but very frustrating. I'm waiting to see if they credit my account for the cost of the curtains and tax.

I bought two runners. The binding on both were both poorly done. I was going to return them. One it would have cost me money to return to them and the other was half the cost of runner. Something that cost me $143. Would cost me $90. To return. They also fudge their reviews. They refused my review and picture. Buyer beware and I'll never buy there again.

I ordered a bed on Sunday and my credit card was charged and I got a confirmation email saying that it would be in on Friday(today). I'm moving into my new apartment this weekend and was looking forward to having my new bed come in in time for the weekend. I waited all week and never got a shipping confirmation for the bed so I decided to call overstocked. They then told me that the bed was actually out of stock and there's nothing they can do about it. Now I'm stuck without a bed for my apartment! Never ordering from them again! Horrible customer service
