Over Stock has all the items a person may need everything from clothing to gadgets and furniture. Fast shipping and nice people customer service are top line five star so feel safe feel comfortable and shop even on the phone there happy to help don't get discouraged they have it. I love them Overstock awesome...

“Products are subpar and pricing is incomprehensible”

Product I received had missing parts. We tried to buy some from hardware but two major crossbars are missing. Now they say we don't have the parts, take the whole thing apart, find a box and pay the postage to send it back to us. If it is this bad, and you can't fix it then send a new one. You get various coupons, many which are expired. How is it fair to charge different people different amounts for the same product. My other purchase which was a vacuum was of poor quality and seemed used. What does Overstock mean anyway. I think it means over the hill, over priced, over hyped but definitely not over any expectations. Extremely disappointed and will never use this website or company for purchases. I will let my consumer friends know why I have been so frustrated and outraged by the service that seems nice but accomplishes absolutely nothing. How embarrassing.

I ordered a light that came with a missing piece. I was told they couldnt help me because I was outside the return window. Now I spent all this money on a light that doesnt work. Supervisor Chelsa V. was completely rude and not helpful. I would stay away from Overstock! Use Wayfair 100%

I use to love this site but since they use FEDEX the delivery service is poor. They threw my carpet on the front of the apartment building where there is heavy traffic. They had entrance but did not use it. SMH I had to drag it off the porch and down the steps. Never had this problem with UPS. FedEx drivers are lazy

I recently bought several items and I am pleased with them all. I bought two chairs, a 5x8 rug and the runner to match. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wanted to also buy a fake Xmas tree and found those prices were too high. But I am very happy with the prices f what I bought.

I ordered a hard to find item as a gift for my grandson. When I placed the order, there was no indication that the item was out of stock. I even ponied up an extra $16.64 for 2 day shipping. 5 days later, my order was still showing a "processing" status. I contacted O.com via chat, where the rep assured me multiple times that my item was in stock and would be sent shortly. She said that a sure sign would be if my CC was charged. Sure enough, the next day ( day 6), my card was charged. Waited 2 more days for shipping confirmation, then get an email acknowledgement of ME cancelling the order. WTF? Really? Then about 6 hours later I get another email saying that THEY "discovered" that my item was out of stock, and THEY were cancelling the order, and my CC would be credited the purchase price... no mention of refunding shipping price. 2 more days of chat and email to resolve.
I'm happy for those that have had success with this company, but for me, it's NEVER AGAIN.

Ive placed a few orders. You really roll the dice with what you get. Sometimes its waaaay off from the description. Also, youll see the exact same item listed on multiple sites like Wayfair, Pier 1etc, but under a different name. So do your research. Im kind of over the inconsistency so I dont think Ill be back.

Overstock Rip off
I ordered a clothing item which was incorrectly identified as a Misses size but was actually a Juniors. When I told customer service, they didn't even bother investigating and when I returned the item, they said they would only refund half of what I paid because there were a few HAIRS on the item! Have they never heard of lint removers? I simply tried the item on and then took it off.
If I do not get my total refund I will be contacting my state attorney generals. And I don't think I will be dealing with Overstock any time soon

Overstock would be a better online shoppin place if they don't make you go through hoops to return items that are not as describled. I purchased a grey rug which was actually blue so when I used their automated system, I was asked to pay for shipping. I had to write and call before I overstock sent me a postage paid UPS sticker. Amazon just accepts justified returns but overstock makes you spend an extra 15 minutes before they will do the saem

I live in Vail Colorado wherein we have post office boxes. When ordering from Overstock it would not deliver to a P. O. Box so asked for a street address. The delivery method was Fed Ex so it was to be delivered to my house. It took 10 days to get the shipment and I received an e. Mail that it had been delivered to my home address yet nothing had been delivered When I called overstock they said that Fedex saves money by delivering to the post office. The post office they delivered to is not my post office so the order was returned. I spoke with Overstock and they could have made it right by overnighting the order delivering it to my street address. When I asked the customer service agent said they would issue a refund. I would never order from them again.

Ordered a few items online. They never arrived, but was told by customer service there was nothing they could do to assist. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I am out almost $200 until my bank gets the money back. Which by the way can take up to 6 months!

I love TJMAXX because they get all designer fashion. And their price are about 1/3 of what they normally sell for. I love that they get it all. Why pay more when here you don't have too. They are A*** to me.

2 chat agents disconnected my CS chat when they couldn't find the answer to resolve my issue. I guess they no longer want to be bothered so cut the chat before it was done. When customer service suffers so do customers: (

Tip for consumers:
Customer service on the weekends or holidays seems to be handled by a less than knowledgeable team. Best to reach out during regular business hours if you want to get up to par customer service.

Second time I purchase an item from them and it is hell to get a refund. First time it took endless emails, calls, pictures, donation letter to get a refund. This time nothing worked after several emails and sending everything they wanted they said I had pulled tags for pictures which made returned invalid yet they never advices me not too and tags were at the bottom of the item. I haven't spends thousands wihbthe throught the years over 3k in the last items I ordered. Never again, they constantly make mistakes, don't value customers and have zero customer service every time you call is a different answer. Thieves is all I have to say

No customer services, cheap quality products, they dont check what they are delivering. And to exchange they take 100 calls, before delivering they never call on time thry just call 5 mins before. At time when i bought they said you will get free gift if u shop more 500$ product and when i didnt received with my delivery then they said it is finished it was till the stock last but they could hav told me same day bcoz i bought one table extra to complete the target of 500$ to get gift. Horrible furniture. Dont go guys. Furniture now is far better at same price.

I've purchased from Overtock in the past and have had fairly good experiences. Although returns are not economical, at least their shipping was decent. No more. I ordered 3 rugs pads all at the same time. One shipped immediately, but an identical one took several days longer to ship for no apparent reason. The 3rd rug pad never shipped at all. When I called to check on the problem after a week, I was told to wait 1- 2 more days while they "checked things out." After waiting the entire 2 days, I was told that they had decided I had waited long enough (no kidding!) and they would send another. Then waited 2 more days for that shipment to leave. When the thing finally arrived (I've lost count of the days by now) it wasn't even in a box. Just the rug pad's own transparent plastic wrapper with a label slapped on it. Lesson learned-- if the purchase is intended as a surprise for someone in your household or if you just want a little privacy, don't order from Overstock.

I ordered a sewing machine. I had a mess up with PayPal and it was delayed, but Overstock honored the sale price from when I bought it even though by the time my PayPal problem was solved it had gone back to normal price. It took a while to get here, but it was a good deal. I will use again.

What a nightmare! Ordered a sectional set. Waited 8 weeks. Got 4 different delivery
Dates. The first one was cancelled because delivery co. Couldn't find my house! Second one was negated because they put the furniture on the wrong truck! Third one didn't make it because the truck broke down! After much complaining i was told furniture would be coming the following tuesday with cust service rep assuring me she would 'see it through to the end' monday night delivery co. Calls and confirms a time frame of 1-4 in the afternoon tuesday. I have my son stay home from work for the FOURTH time and, wouldn't you know? They never showed up! Couldn't get a hold of service rep determined to 'see it through and was on the phone for THREE DAYS before cancelling the whole order and geting my money back! Don't EVER use these people! You have been warned...

Ordered an item for an birthday present. Paid for expedited shipping (overnite). Overstocked shipped the iten via postal service. I still havent recieved item. Finally got intouch with a manager who did refund the shipping charge, However I had to go out and purchase another gift. I will never use this site again.

I ordered a stater kit for Skylanders Trap Team on cyber Monday and just received an email two day later they are out of stock. How! How can an online order be possessed for inventory that does not exist? If I walk into a store I cannot pay for a product that is out of stock and other online retailer seem to habe this concept down. Good job losing a first time customer! Overstock needs to reinvent themselves as Understock.com!

Shop any where else but here!

Ordered a large Bar Sideboard on October 31,2019. Received no notifications of shipping and had to inquire of customer service. Notified 15 minutes later it shipped. I was emailed that it would arrive by November 13,2019. Received a voicemail message from a shipper. Returned the call multiple times with no response. Called their logistics company CEVA, but no answer. Contacted customer service on Nov. 14th to find out status of shipment. Customer Service informed me that they do not have a dedicated department to handle over-sized items-then why do they sell them. I was informed by Customer Service that they would contact me within 1-2 days to let me know the status of the order. My suggestion to anyone ordering furnishings from Overstock is DO NOT DO IT!. Save yourself the time and trouble and deal with a more reputable and responsive company. Overstock.com has over 600 BBB complaints. I should have checked.

I am actually shocked at the ineptitude and lack of any responsibility from Overstock customer service. I moved and did not notice my address did not save. I contacted them and canceled my order before it shipped. I corrected this error and repurchased it and I saw my address was correct. I then get an email the following day that it shipped to the wrong address. I have been trying to fix this problem for almost two weeks. I am told they are contacting the seller and get back in2 days. Now I'm told it's all my fault and contact the shipper. UNBELIEVABLE. Never will I purchase anything from these clowns again.

The first time I had heard of and ordered something from overstock.com, was in 1998. The deals were great. I bought two leather bags for my airline luggage@ $25 a piece, and they are still around today and used.

But, throughout the years, I have noticed the prices going up and the quality going down. It used to be free shipping on everything, but that seems to have nearly disappeared as well. In 1998, they had few sale items, as they were just starting out. But, the items were quality items. Today, they seem to have just about everything, but not at the deals they used to have. You can actually find the items they have cheaper in other stores today.

I am not sure what happened between the 1990s and today, other than growth, but it is definitely not the same store. They seem to have forgotten what brought them to the place they are today, and should re-evaluate what made them a success in the first place.

Tip for consumers:
Shop around before commiting to buy, chances are you can find it cheaper.

If they can sell on ebay, after fees to ebay and paypal at the same price as their site something is wrong. Fees on ebay, including paypal, are from 13% to 11%. On higher priced items this can add up. Either they are ripping us off on their site or losing money on ebay. No brainer as to which.

Unless you're retired or work from home, skip this vendor. They have the same products Wayfair does, but Wayfair hits their delivery date. The shipping process is a trainwreck. They bulk ship to a warehouse near you then reship the product via FedEx or UPS... yes, they basically ship twice and it certainly takes twice as long as anybody else.

They wanted to leave a $1000+ bed and two nightstands on my doorstep because the shipping company was running 3 days late and I would be out of town. They did say I wouldn't have to sign for it if I was out of town! I don't think the package thief would have had to either.

Second case: On August 31 I tried to use my 19$ rewards, they did not let me use it. On September 1 they said that they will charge my account with the membership fee. I replied multiple times and told them not to. On September 2 they charged me the membership fee. On September 3 the rewards still would not be available ($ 19). I contacted them, but they refused to give me a refund for the $ 19 but finally cancelled their fraudulent charge. However, I had to contact them again in order to get my $ 19 back. Later on September 3, magically it showed I had $ 99 rewards, yet I have not made any purchases. In order to get the $ 99 I should then sign up again. You get the idea the scam they are pulling on costumers. They are lying with their numbers and refuse to cancel orders, try to charge you for shipping even though their items are different than described and defective! They now try to charge me $ 200 for shipping even though their item is defective and different than described!

International shipping cost to Canada is INSAAAAAANE. I bought $150 worth of stuff, but with shipping/duties/handling fees my final bill came to $350+! Never came back to this site ever again. Quality of some of the products were cheap too.
