I have a 2013 Ford focus SE that I unfortunately bought crappies front suspensions with through a known website ask them for a refund they would not give it which was a bad experience however I decided to take a chance in order with parts geek the right passenger suspension drove through the snow and through the hell and was quiet as a church mouse so I ordered the driver side now to replace the crappy ones I had and the car is running like a dream instead of a nightmare their customer service people are very very friendly and accurate and if I was to say one thing to potential customers do not go anywhere else how can you lose they offer you a money back guarantee plus a one year's manufacturer's warranty it's a win-win situation for all
This company makes is almost impossible to get a return. Attempt to use their online return feature only says "Your part is on the way, Please allow time to receive your part before setting up the return." This error continues until beyond the return policy date. Convenient. Don't use this company as you will be supporting a company that doesn't operate in good faith to it's customers. You will spend hours on the phone on hold with no resolution. Attached Photo shows the error persisting past their return window.
Holy crap, I bought a $500 set of power steering lines and the bag, packed into a box, was opened and had one of the two hoses. Now I have to wait and hope. No phone, no people, just the evil internet.
Ordered camshaft position sensor. Installed next day. Car would start but would not run. Spent day taking car apart and reinstalling again. Same result. Reinstalled old part, car not perfect but runs and can be driven. When I read how to send back and their rules while getting their number so I could return it becomes clear they insulate themselves as much as possible from any complaints. Don't believe the reviews on their site. You can believe the ones here because they they match my experience.
After entering in all the specs for my vehicle I purchased a part that said was compatible. Upon trying to install the part on my vehicle I found that they shipped me a part from a completely different model. I tried to contact PartsGeek to return the item and they said they would neither pay to get it shipped back or refund the shipping amount for the incorrect part they shipped me.
I had to pay $12.95 to get it shipped to me and now they want me to pay another $25+ to ship the incorrect part back to them. Completely ridiculous. I could not be more dissatisfied with how PartsGeek is handling this. Customer service is unwilling to do anything to try to rectify their mistakes which is the reason for this review.
Will never give PartsGeek my business after this incident.
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy parts from this website if there is even a 1% chance that you will need to return them. Do not rely on this website to send you the correct/compatible parts. Do not rely on this website to try to do anything to resolve customer issues
Parts don't fit vehicle advertised. Customer service doesn't respond.
It's up to me to pay for shipping a part to me and to return it, based on false advertising on their web site as to vehicle fitment.
Part was also poorly packaged.
So I ordered a new OEM exhaust for my car. There were 2 parts the right side muffler which is all one piece all the way up to the cat and the left muffler that connects at the rear axle(all wheel drive). Their website said everything was in stock. The right side of the exhaust was not in stock but was only mentioned after I ordered. Seeing that I went to cancel the left muffler soon after but was told it was too late to cancel. About a week later it arrived and after inspecting noticed it was the wrong part. I requested to return the item which took them a few days to process. They did not give me a shipping label to send it back even though it was the wrong part. Ended up paying $70 to send it back to them. It got to their warehouse on a Friday. They didn't acknowledge its arrival until the Tuesday after. And after that it took an extra day to give me the refund. They did not cover any of the shipping back to them. Will not be ordering from them again.
I ordered a part (headlight) listed on the Parts Geek website as specifically fitting my car by make, model and year. I received a part that has never been used on my model--completely wrong part. The company refuses to refund the (very high) shipping charges I paid or to pay the shipping I had to pay to return it. They sent the wrong part; they should pay for the shipping both ways. Their "customer service" emails were dismissive and unhelpful (I should have "taken pictures" before sending the part back--ridiculous!). Do not buy from this company.
I ordered a gas cap which was completely different than advertised. Online it says it's an OE equivalent part which means it's not original but does not mean it won't match the advertised part. I called customer service for a return and got hung up on. After a few days I reached Roman and told him my situation and he said its a customer error and they wouldn't handle shipping. Now it's costing me more to buy and return a gas cap than it cost me to buy original from the dealer. I suggest you not buy anything from this site because what they send you can find anywhere else for half the price. You'll be better off buying a part from the dealer!
I had ordered 3 parts for my truck and only received 2 of them. I was charged for all three and paid shipping for all 3. There is no one you can talk to about problems everything is done through emails. So after several back and forths they agreed to credit my card with the missing item. I still need the part and asked them to just send the missing part. I was told they can't currently do that so I would have to reorder the item and pay for shipping again. I will not be buying any more parts from them and suggest you buy parts from one of the other reputable suppliers unless you want to have endless emails with someone in India if you do have issues
Although I had issues with my order I was able to return my part and get a timely refund. My advice, be very specific know what your ordering, check the vin and year twice. And review the part (if you can get a picture to review) to avoid any wrong orders.
Tip for consumers:
Be familiar with the exact part you are ordering verify the VIN#.

I bought some KYB shocks through PartsGeek.com. KYB's website says they have a lifetime warranty on shocks. KYB also directs you to contact who your purchased the shocks from for warranty service. PartsGeek would not service my warranty. Their response was short and rude, and they didn't leave the name of who responded to my warranty request.
Additionally, I went to review the broken part on their website. I left it a 1 star review, which they did not post. The only reviews they post to their website of the part are 5 star reviews to encourage them selling parts.
PartsGeek is only out to get your money.
Tip for consumers:
Purchase elsewhere

I ordered a set of mirrors for my truck-a right side and a left side mirror. I received two left side mirrors. I called customer service and emailed several times. I wanted a return number, a prepaid shipping label (since it was their mistake-not mine)and a credit back to my charge card. Each time I phoned them they said it would be taken care of. It has not been taken care of! It has now been almost a month they have ignored me, out and out lied to me, and not resolved this issue. I am so disgusted, angry, and disappointed with PartsGeek. The one mirror I could use is so cheaply made I hated to put it on the truck, but did anyways since it is what I have. I will NEVER order from this two bit company again, and I advise you, too, not to take a chance on ordering from this scam type operation. STAY AWAY!
Horrible customer service at PartsGeek. Return policy doesn't apply at all. Wanted to return a wrong part and exchange for a different part, denied. Will never do business with this company again. Better service with Amazon.
Tip for consumers:
Return policy doesn’t exist.

I ordered a part, waited 2 weeks and never got the part. I call them and they tell me they'll get the part out right away. The next day I get a email saying, I'll be refunded for the part because they don't have the part. I never asked to get refunded, I wanted the part. Ends up that I just wasted my time of like 2 plus weeks and never got what I ordered. Not to mention the person I talked to was no help, rude, and provided poor service. I would never use this company again, unless they read this and motivate me with some compensation for my time to earn back my business.
Parts Geek sent me a defective product. On June 17,2020 I ordered a bumper for a 1998 ford condor. The part arrived, and I prepared it to fit on the car. I painted it and primed it, and was very excited. Once I tried it on, the bumper will not fit. There's a huge gap, and there is no way I can drive safely with it on. I have no idea how they would be so irresponsible. If one advertises a part, it should fit that purpose. Now they refuse to return my money. Be careful ordering from this company. It's a complete gamble. If you even try to part to see if it fits, you automatically cannot return it. Horrible company. Avoid it at all costs. I want a refund of my $263.00. They have shady business practices, and make the return procedure unnecessarily difficult. They will send you faulty products and refuse to refund you for them. Now I have a useless part, and I'm down $263. Make it right Parts Geek, make it right!
Wrong parts after waiting over a week. Have to pay to ship them back. They do this on purpose as they know you won't ship them back Also the parts were cheaply made. Scammers, shame on you! I should have listened to the real reviews and not the fake ones on their site.
Tip for consumers:
Don't rely on the retailers' reviews .they are fake.

Buy from a reputable dealer. Ordered part in accordance with their spec. Sheet. Part doesn't fit. Part had to be painted so no return which is understandable but for the part to not fit is inexcusable.
Do not spend a penny with these crooks. I made the mistake of ordering 2 axels for my sons Mazda 6 6 cyl from Parts Geek. After waiting a week and a half for the parts to finally arrive, they sent me the wrong left axel. After numerous emails back and forth, Parts Geek finally authorized a return. When asked about the return shipping, they said it was on me.
So, let's see, I put in the vehicle info on their site when I ordered them. The Axels were sold as a kit, the passenger side fit perfectly. The part number for the wrong part is listed for a 4cyl Mazda 6.
I will never deal with parts geek again. I have always purchased from Rock Auto and Summit with absolutely no issues.
Now I know why their prices are lower. They sell the wrong parts hoping that you would nor return them.
I ordered a part from them and they sent the wrong part for my car. When I contacted customer service about exchanging the part, they refused. The customer service person just spouted the company policy manual from a script and was completely unhelpful. I had to order the part from another site (should have done that in the first place) and disputed the charge with my credit card company.
Ordered an alternator for my wife's car, be aware their 30 day return policy starts the day you place the order, took 11 days to get the part, couldn't find the time to install it, brought it to my mechanic, went past 30 days found out it didn't fit my car, even though the website says, this part fits your car. They refused to take it back, complaint to credit card failed, waited 3 months, now trying to figure out what type of car it fits, to poss. Resell it. I think their 30 day policy shouldn't apply if they send you the wrong part, but apparently they've done that to a lot of people. I hope someone else reading this benefits from my mistake, and stays away from this company. I'm out $195 including core charge.

Maybe this is a fluke but am surprised to read these bad reviews about Parts Geek. My experience with them was good. I ordered several parts from them for my Mercedes 300D including 2 rear axles. The axles were A1 Cardone with $60 core charge each. I returned the cores and got my $120 core charge back. I can't think of anything negative to say about them other than it might have been hard to contact them by phone but they always responded to my emails.
I ordered hubs with brake sensors package. Received product with missing items, which took two weeks to receive. Then when opened "no invoice, no brake sensors which were part of the package. Contacted them and asked them to send the sensors. They wanted me to return the item just so they could send them back with the sensors. I informed them the hubs was already installed on my vehicle and they told me. They couldn't help me and this case was closed.
How hard is it to accommodate the customer when I paid for the part. Never again.
Tip for consumers:
Just don’t shop here.

I ordered two parts. Blower motor and a pig tail, the pig tail said it was for the same blower motor, but it was the wrong part, they want me to pay the return shipping for there mistake, I will never perched anything from these geeks again. I am a auto tech for 45 years, I would never treat my customers like this. Very disappointed.
The worst customer services. Can't get the parts returned had to pay for returning the part. Said free shipping and paid that also when it came to
Shipping part. Tried calling for a week to no avail. And when I finally get someone to answer. They tell you not the right card number you ordered from you only have 1 and then they hang up on you and when you try calling right back they are suddenly closed and only open Monday thru Friday but someone's answers on Saturday mornings that hangs up on you. Car down for 5 weeks now over 1 head gasket 57 yr's old and now have to walk to nearest bus stop (over a mile a way), and have to haul 2 grand kids( 1) to school 2&5 yr's or age, by way of wagon (red flyer). Busy main road way. And now have to start this process over yet again for a third week. If I were a man this would have already been taken care of.? And, Yes I know about car's & parts. What can I do desperate and frustrated. Mary in Calif. Rate s 0 made me do 1not even a - icon
Everything was going well until customer service did not add my apartment number after she asked. When I called to see if they can add apartment number she said no and that I will have to call ups or refuse the package. How can I refuse a package if its not coming straight to my door? If it was coming then why would I refuse it? So I asked if my package is not coming to my door and I dont receive it then I cant get my money back she said correct. This is a shame! Bad experience and wont use them ever again.

So I called 3 days later and they said no i need to buy another one if i need the part they need to review the part. Before we refund your money. Soooooo they dont replace there broken parts they lied to me about sending me another part. And the first woman I talked to I asked her name because I wanted to file a complaint and she said have a nice day and hung up on me. Will never order parts for these people
