I have a 2013 Ford focus SE that I unfortunately bought crappies front suspensions with through a known website ask them for a refund they would not give it which was a bad experience however I decided to take a chance in order with parts geek the right passenger suspension drove through the snow and through the hell and was quiet as a church mouse so I ordered the driver side now to replace the crappy ones I had and the car is running like a dream instead of a nightmare their customer service people are very very friendly and accurate and if I was to say one thing to potential customers do not go anywhere else how can you lose they offer you a money back guarantee plus a one year's manufacturer's warranty it's a win-win situation for all
This company makes is almost impossible to get a return. Attempt to use their online return feature only says "Your part is on the way, Please allow time to receive your part before setting up the return." This error continues until beyond the return policy date. Convenient. Don't use this company as you will be supporting a company that doesn't operate in good faith to it's customers. You will spend hours on the phone on hold with no resolution. Attached Photo shows the error persisting past their return window.
Partsgeek.com will scam you. They FALSE ADVERTISE EVERYTHING. They can't be trusted. Horrible customer service. I bought pads&rotors from them for $50 they claimed the parts would last a very long time and so on, well i now have to buy all new pads and rotors AGAIN all because they wanted a quick buck from me.
I bought the pads and rotors in july and August of this year. If you want parts that are built to last, go to autozone NOT partsgeek.
Never order from them! Say they are in stock and are not. Call them and they say they are back in stock so reorder. The first credit has not been posted to account now wait for the next one to process. Good scam. Hold money and pay you latet

We ordered a CV half shaft. After installation, the car vibrated and shook so uncontrollably that it was rendered undriveable until a replacement part FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY was delivered. The FAULTY PART then attempted to be returned. You can not, for the life of you, get a human being on the phone. They virtually make it impossible to return an item. Emails upon emails (all of which take 24-28 hours). By the time you even know the part is faulty, and get the thing in the mail it's close to their "no returns after 30 days no exceptions" policy. I was told I would have to pay for my own shipping back, and then a 15% fee for restocking. Ridiculous.
Order a new part for my 89 Dodge Dakota Sport, received the part and took truck in for installation, after taking the part off they realized I had received the wrong part. When I tried to send it back they told me I had ordered the wrong part, and return shipping was my responsibility because I had ordered the wrong part. Tried to explain to the CS rep, but all he kept saying is you ordered the wrong part, I tried to e plain I did not give them a part number, just the description of my truck, again stated I ordered the wrong part, he then hung up on me. I will never order another part from them nor will I recommend them to anyone.
They don't bother to tell you when ordering that you have to keep the original box in order to get your core charge back. They don't put anything in with the part specifying this either. So I returned my old part for the core in a regular box paid for the shipping just to be told sorry it wasn't in its original box so you don't get your core charge back. I guess customers are supposed to be psychic and automatically know these things. They got a free part to rebuild andake money off of by selling it again and my husband and I are out of a core charge plus the shipping we paid to send it back

First the good, They were nice to talk with. Now for the bad, I called not knowing what size rotors and breaks I needed. The guy was nice and very confident he knew what I needed. I trusted them, they shipped the parts, they came looked fine. I wasn't able to get to the job for a bit, past the 30 day window to return. I didn't mind that much, because the guy was so confident in his work. But when I went to install the parts, they sent the wrong size. I wish they wouldn't give such confident advice when they get it wrong, and then not take responsibly. I would only use them if you know the exact part you need, if then.

I specified that I needed a for light rim for the drivers side on a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado and I got sent one for a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Then, I was informed, even though it was their mistake, that I had to pay the return shipping fee! That is what is known as a rip off!!!
I was truly happy with the ease of navigating the web site. The price was extremely reasonable. And the speed of delivery was unbelievably quick. I couldn't be happier with the service, and I will use Parts Geek services again.
Searching for a bulb for a AH Sprite. Purchased bulb, was broken. Had a bulb number on it. Later did a google search for the same found many listed for about $5.00or less. They.
Charged nearly $18 for the same. Talk about a major rip off!

Worst service ever. I inquired before ordering to ensure part was availble. Week later I followed up as I never recieved part. Customer service said they would look into it. I never heard back. I followed up next day and they refunded my money. I wanted and needed the part, but they just refunded money and told me to order from local supplier... I have been using a car rental for a week waiting for part.
I placed an order from Parts Geek & was sent the wrong part. They will not reimburse shipping or shipping to return the item that was wrong, After reading the many complaints, this is the norm for this company and apparently, THIS is how they are making their money... by ripping off honest customers who put their faith in a company to send correct parts or at best to make the effort to correct THEIR ERRORS. In the end, it is cheaper for me to keep the wrong part than to return it... which is their SCAM. Do not purchase from this company, you will regret it.

I purchased a light for my truck they sight said it will fit they sent the wrong part and when I finally talk to customer service the guy was real snobish and they never told me I was responsible for shipping the wrong part back I'll never do business with them again maybe the only way they change is a class action law suit
I never received the item ordered! After speaking with a customer service representative, I was told it's after 30days and nothing can be done! What? They billed my credit card, received monies and I have yet to receive the item! Purchase at your own risk! They have very rude and poor customer service! They did not offer to serch, track or find the item.? I had to file a claim with my bank to receive my $34.95 back!
Poor poor business on top of that apparently their employees don't know who their carrier is you will get the only statement I got from my bank was parts geek $35.22 but I sent their part back to him plus I had to pay for shipping back to them but I only got $19.22 back and my person I was talking to on my chat he didn't even know who is Carrie or was but said that $16 was for the carrier fee it was either FedEx or UPS he didn't know but I don't have two different statements on my bank saying $16 for UPS or FedEx and $19.22 for PartsGeek I have one statement parts geek 35.22 but like I said they do not give back taxes or shipping and you have to pay your shipping to return your part so your best bet is keep your part you can sell it for more yourself than to give it back to them yay yay what a business
Their website said it was garunteed to fit and it wasn't even close. After spending over an hour on the phone trying to get throug to them and after being hung up on 3 times I was finally able to speak to someone but that made it even more frustrating. He just kept repeating the same thing, "we cant do anything for you". Their mistake and im screwed with losing $100. Wil NEVER EVER do business with them again! BEWARE of these scammers!
Don't buy from this site they are nothing but rude and very unhelpful, I ordered I part payed next day air not only did it not ship on time but sent the wrong part, I gave them a second chance even though I had to pay again for the correct part I needed and the second time they sent me the same wrong part again, called them again to see what was going on, couldn't apologize or offer help to get the right part, definitely will never ever buy from thus site, I'm still waiting on my refund for both parts that got sent, hopefully I get a refund and don't have to sue. Parts Geek sent me the incorrect part, blamed it on me, and wanted me to pay for shipping and restocking. I selected the correct year make and model for the vehicle i needed, selected the part that came up and purchased it. When it came in it was incorrect. I contacted their customer service department (you can only email them and they take 24-48hours to respond) they blamed me and said i selected the wrong vehicle. I tried explaining to them several times that this was not my fault and that all i wanted was the correct part and a shipping label to return the wrong one and they refused to work with me. I finally had to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Meanwhile I have lost a good customer because I couldn't get her part in in time. These people DO NOT deserve your money. Buy from a more reputable company that has real customer service!
I hate all these online places. Always have to play email tag which takes days to get anything resolved. Rock auto is the same dang way. I will never order here again!

Parts beat up in box no packing in box to keep box's from beating together blamed on FedEx bad customer service and got a fuel pump assembly that was wired up wrong the don't care at all
I live in California and I need a Carb Legal Catalytic Converter. To make sure I purchased the right part I chatted on the website with an agent(Lucas Harper) and explained to him the california emissions regualtions before purchasing a Catalytic converter. He then sent me a link of a CAT they had, assuring me it was CA legal and I purchashed it. Well it wasn't and I failed the emissions test because of the CAT. I then got in contact with partsgeek customer service and the representative told me they had sent me the wrong part and that his manager would contact me through email. I got an email and it was just the return instructions of the part, it stated it need to go back in the original box (which I threw away) at this point I chatted with a different agent(Ethan Smith) and explained to him that I did not have the original box and what would my other option be in order for me to return the part (still not fixing the problem of the wrong part sent to me) all this agent said was "we need the original box." Now Im $661 less due to not having the Original box in where the wrong part was sent to me.

Ive ordered here several times. Often they will only ship half an order due to items being out of stock. Tyring to time oreders for a repair shop has become extreamly difficult. If they dont have items i should not be able to pay for and check out. This issue has time and again left me with pissed off customers. Trying to return parts is a hassel also. Stick to Rock Auto.
