I have a 2013 Ford focus SE that I unfortunately bought crappies front suspensions with through a known website ask them for a refund they would not give it which was a bad experience however I decided to take a chance in order with parts geek the right passenger suspension drove through the snow and through the hell and was quiet as a church mouse so I ordered the driver side now to replace the crappy ones I had and the car is running like a dream instead of a nightmare their customer service people are very very friendly and accurate and if I was to say one thing to potential customers do not go anywhere else how can you lose they offer you a money back guarantee plus a one year's manufacturer's warranty it's a win-win situation for all
This company makes is almost impossible to get a return. Attempt to use their online return feature only says "Your part is on the way, Please allow time to receive your part before setting up the return." This error continues until beyond the return policy date. Convenient. Don't use this company as you will be supporting a company that doesn't operate in good faith to it's customers. You will spend hours on the phone on hold with no resolution. Attached Photo shows the error persisting past their return window.
How hard is it to send out a part that fits the year, make, and model of your car. Apparently very hard for Parts Geek. All I needed was a replacement mirror for a 2002 Ford Focus. Shipping was sloowww.Part arrived in a beat to hell box. Tear apart my door and put the new mirror on and find out it doesn't have threads for the interior knob, so basically the manual lever for controlling the mirror just flops around loose and looks like $#! T Part of ordering online is an assurance that you are going to get the right fit. Know your vehicles and the parts that will work for them! I will never use parts geek again.
Tip for consumers:
If you actually want parts that fit, avoid parts geek.
I spent $400 on parts for my truck. They sent 2 of the 3 parts ordered and claimed the missing part was included but it wasn't. I sent pictures of shipping package and packing slip. One of the parts shipped was used, had grease and wrench marks on product. I've called at least 6 times and their system hangs up. I've emailed but only get a response once every 3 days. My truck is still not fixed after 3 weeks of initial order. This is a nightmare and still not resolved. I will never order from them and I highly DO NOT recommend Parts Geek.
Well, I was concerned after ordering an alternator (2002 Passat) and then reading these negative reviews. Not only did I receive the correct part in excellent condition in 4 days, I got an RMA via email in hours. My return was processed in less than 2 days. So my experience has been much different. I will definitely buy from them again.
I purchased two fenders and a body part. One fender arrived damaged with a 3" wide dent and an 8' long crease. I paid for insurance when I made the purchase. They were slow to respond, I had to write multiple emails and called twice. I was told they would return my calls but they never did. They said their "Warehouse" offered $50 to pay for repairing the dents, which is not enough, not to mention why is a warehouse making this decision. They would never respond to why when I purchased insurance they were not using insurance to pay for a replacement fender. I will pursue the legality of charging for insurance and not providing insurance coverage. Stay away from these guys.
Great prices, but they do not tell you all that is required when you need to return an item or core. If purchased an alternator and charged $100 for a core charge to get that back I was told I would receive an email for shipping to return the old alternator. What was not mentioned was I would have to pay out of my own pocket to return the old alternator to receive my core charge. The cost to ship the old is $60-$70. I reality I would only be receiving $30-$40 returned back to me after ALL said and done.
Tip for consumers:
To be told directly that I would have to pay out of pocket for return

I ordered a fuel pump it took 4 days to come and when it came it was missing the wire harness connector now they're giving me the runaround and when I asked to speak to management they hung up on me not a good place to do business with I swear they will never get another dollar from me it's not worth the disrespect from customer service reps
I ordered a new CV joint and axle assembly for my 1993 MR2 Turbo. Parts Geek's database identifies the incorrect part (not even close to physically the same size!) When trying to return the part their customer support first refuses to believe me that the part is incorrect (even when I show them pictures of the correct part and their incorrect one), spends days running me around in circles via email, then they flat out refuse to pay for the return shipping. They claim "they provided me a service"! More like a disservice, by identifying the WRONG part and then wasting all my time to figure that out and return their mistake.
Ultimately, I would have to say avoid this company. Others have the parts just about as cheap and Part Geeks customer service was just about the worst I have EVER experienced. Shop elsewhere my friends...
Ordered item, item was missing parts. They won't ship the missing parts, so you have to order the item again. Unfortunately, they also don't refund the shipping cost even though it was their mistake. My item cost $27, shipping was $15...refunded $27.
You can find what you need elsewhere and get better service. This is a poor business practice.

The part I ordered was defective and I had to spend two months harassing them in order to get a refund. If I didn't stay on top of it and track every conversation I would be out almost $200. They are probably great if the part works -- you will save money. But if the part fails you will have a very difficult time getting a refund.
If i could give this company negative stars i would. I ordered a part that said was in stock only to find out a few hours later that the part was NOT in stock. Checked the website and part still shows as being in stock. Company issued a refund for the part only for them to turn around and take the same exact amount back out of my account. Talked to customer service and they stated they did not do it even though my credit card says Parts Geek LLC on the transaction. They would not do another refund to clear this issue up so i could get my money back. Will never do business with them again..
I ordered a part last Sunday, (3/12/17). I paid $35.00 extra for next day delivery. So far (3/17) I have not received a notice that the part has been shipped. Since it is not possible to cancel an order, I have decided to file a complaint with the California Consumer Protection Commission.
I purchased a gas cap from Parts Geek for $23.00 (Part #*******), plus $9.95 shipping. I went ahead and bought it because the photo of the part showed it was exactly like the one that came on my 2005 325i. It says BMW on the top, has a tether, and is green and black. Earlier I bought a "new and improved" after-market cap that caused the Service Engine light to come on. The part I received from Parts Geek was nothing like the part pictured on their web site. It did not say BMW on the top, had no tether, and it was all black. I listed these differences when I contacted Customer Service. I was asked again to describe the differences and supply photos of the part, box, backing slip, and shipping label (I guess they don't know what they ship out the door! They refused to make good on the bogus part unless I provided all the photos! It's a clear case of false advertising!
Bought a part that was flagged by my bank due to it being shipped to another state. I only got to know this after emailing them asking when the part is going to get here after 10 days of no news. That's understandable so I emailed them to resolve it because they didn't let me know and just canceled the transaction without letting me know. After emailing and not getting any responses I called them and did everything over the phone with a weird caller that sounded like a scammer. After another 10 days later I got an email saying my refund was approved due to it not being in stock…. Idk how to express how annoying this is when my car has been standing waiting for this stupid part.

Purchased a set of 4 wheels and one came bent. They don't do exchanges so when you order something you have to get your return money and then purchase a new part. I didn't mind that but when I asked for shipping to be covered on new part since I already paid for shipping they only offered to cover half of the shipping. They said they aren't responsible for damage in shipping. I've never purchased something where shipping for a replacement for a damaged part fell on the customer. It's the vendors job to file a claim with their shipping carrier. I won't be purchasing anything from them anymore.
Tip for consumers:
Don't purchase anything expecting to have shipping waved if you need to order a new part after you return a damaged part.

1st their prices are not competitive enough, I have found the same items for less from competitors like Amazon. 2nd the return policy not flexible in comparison to other companies, you would have pay for return shipping. Example I bought a part that cost $42.00 when I try to return the part it would cost me $18.00 to ship it back thats pretty much half of what I spent on something I never used, why would I do that? Not to mention I also found that same part for less at another site. I will never buy from PartsGeek again. I will make sure all my buddies know about this too. It's no wonder why Amazon is putting everyone else out of business their customer service is second to none. I do not recommend PartsGeek to anyone.
1st time I ordered a tailight from them and as soon as I opened the box I see a piece chipped off due to crappy packaging, I let that pass because they apologized and it was an easy fix for me. Now I buy an axle from them and they send the wrong part, it shorter and doesn't fit even though it says online that it does, so they tell me to send it back but I am responsible for shipping? In that case I would be paying more money out of pocket than the actual part. This company is terrible avoid at all cost
Received defective parts and for the wrong model. Company wanted me to pay return shipping, which would have cost double what the part was.As a business owner I would not purchase from this company again. BUYER BEWARE!
Tip for consumers:
Ordered from a more reliable company, bad return policy, and my service

Order indicates ball joints however I received a brake sensor cable. Every time I try to call them they hang up on me. All I get are automated emails. Then they want me to pay shipping to return the part. Told me to take a picture as proof. I sent them the picture and now they've told me for 3 days someone will get back to me when they figure out what happened in the warehouse. I had to buy locally and just want my money back at this point. Stay away from PartsGeek. Big ripoff!
Ordered a tail light housing from these idiots just needed one side. 1. They send both sides, I get it you might need both? But I ordered one not both 2. And the real kick in the balls is that they put bolts and $#*! in the box to increase the weight of the box so me the consumer has to eat the extra cost. That is not good business. If you can't afford to A.ship me what I asked for and B. Stop the the shady business so you can keep afloat, if you can't follow those details it's a wonder your still in business and if I could you idiots would get no stars. Never again will you see dime from me.
Sent damaged part. Sent proof via photo it was done at the source when putting it in the shoipping container as the shipping container was in perfect condition. Would not send out new part ASAP since I needed it for appointment with bodyshop. Only option was to wait on their 3 to 5 day refund process or order ASAP to have sent. Total lack of customer focus/service.

I ordered approximately $400 worth of parts got the box opened up the box and I'm missing two parts I have tried to get in contact with Geek Parts with no success they keep me on hold for 5 hours at a time I have been calling every other day and cannot get a hold of anyone! Very frustrated! I am missing a control knuckle and a wheel bearing, I am not happy with the service or parts that I received.
I will not be ordering from PartsGeek for here on out...

I ordered a brake kit for a 2015 Cadillac but what showed was nothing of the sort. I have no idea what vehicle the brakes I received went to. I contacted them only to be told I was responsible for the return shipping which was 80% of the material cost.
I would think since they shipped the incorrect parts the return should have been their responsibility but they sure as heck don't take responsibility.
Never use them.
Tip for consumers:

Their website will recommend the wrong part, so be sure to do your own research! Because Parts Geek will not accept a return for wrong parts.
I will never buy parts geek again. You should probably go else where also.
Tip for consumers:
Go somewhere else.

I brought a part from partsgreek. Says it will fit on my car but ended up not fitting correctly, the wrong part. Spent 74 dollars. I waiting about a month and a half to install, to find out that they wont accept my return, not even give me a store credit. Bull$#*! company.
