Once you make your first purchase they will block your account and take the rest of your money. If you want to get it unblocked they will ask for your id and then they will still not unblock it. They are selling these scam cards in common stores to target vulnerable customers. Don't buy anything from these shady crooks and tell everyone you know not to buy it!
Too bad you can't give 0 stars. To start i bought a psc and used it on my account and when i tried to buy something online with it they blocked my account. When i asked them (Took about 2-3 weeks to respond) why they did it they told me it's because i broke one of the rules but they couldn't tell me why. So now they closed my account, and do not allow me to make a new one. Honestly one of the worst payment options i've ever had.
I buy these cards daily and paysafe never lets me use full amount on card always transaction takes 5 times to go through and I have to keep reducing amount but when go to use these again the card says funds have been used when they all have a couple dollars or 59 cents or more left. It is theft and fraud.
They lock your card that you bought with your own money for no reason, and then charage 3 Euro each month from it.
"We are prompted to charge a maintenance fee of EUR 3 - per month after 6 months after purchase. This fee will be directly deducted from the balance of your paysafecard. This is necessary to cover additional administrative costs."
This deplorable scam of a company will drive a person MAD. They are still not able to locate my €356.49 since December. I have sent all the necessary documents and transcation numbers and I am still waiting until this day for my money. Let me not getstarted with their useless customer agents who just repeat answers from a manual textbook. STAY CLEAR FROM THESE RABID DOGS. TRY WISE, MONESE, POCKIT OR ANY OTHER REPUTABLE PREPAID BANKS BUT NOT THESE PARASITIC EUROPEAN DEVILS!
I have 50 euro in my paysafecard account. I asked for a refund. They said the money will be refunded to my bank account and asked for my info. I've sent them everything they asked: bank account, ID. I have a verified account. They haven't replied ever since and every month they charge a fee. 50 euro doesn't bother me, it's the scam that does.
Update: I got a reply. They asked me for the pre-paid cupons. After I took a better look, I've found out paysafecard is the property of an Austrian company. So I called in Austria and customer support told me what to say. I got an email saying there was a technical issue and they couldn't send me the money. After another call in Austria I finally got my money back. Well... only half.
It's still a bad company.
Everything that everyone has said below is true. Paysafecard take your money and then when you try and use their card to make an online purchase, they block your card "for security reasons" and send you a form to fill in. Even if you fill in that form and return it to them, along with your ID and personal details (as they request), they will not unblock your card and let you use your money. If you send them any e-mails to query this they just ignore you. They're just thieves; it's as simple as that.
Suspicion of fraud, I have called the Helpdesk very unfriendly btw. And after 16 hours still no resolution, they just hang the phone up. I have send them everything and this company I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Please don't buy this.

I almost never write bad reviews, but this bad review goes to the lucky Paysafecard. I am writing this with a sane mind after a few weeks of giving them a chance to make it right. (which they have agreed to send the money to my bank account but never follow through).
I have an account with them to use for Skrill. I have deposited an amount of $1000 to Paysafecard, however since Skrill can receive only $400, it makes sense to receive the $600 back. Later that month, the amount of $200 got hacked and then the other $400 was never returned. They locked me out of my profile and has 0 follow ups since 15th June.
Is Paysafecard a scam?

11 days since our exchanged emails (asking nonsense back to zero) on 22/06.
18 days since my initial instructions which they have disregarded and no further follow ups on money transfers 15/6 - 16/6.
38 days since my initial report about the incident on 25/5.

Now i give 3 Stars because they helped me with two paysfafecards worth my lost amount!
Only the waiting time of 6 weeks was not great.
These guys took over the wallie-cards, I had an old one and wanted to refund it because I can't do anything with it anymore, after waiting 4 days, and doing a lot of effort because they don't accept pictures larger than 2MB, and they don't want links. I got to hear the card was recently spend, $#*!ing bull$#*!, I haven't spend anything. They took my $#*!ing money and they won't reason or listen like normal human beings.
As a Canadian please avoid pay safe and save your money, this company is totally scam, you buy a pin they block after they ask your photo id bank information and etc even you send them they will not have your money back,, tell everyone you know to avoid paysafe
I was using paysafecard for years. Basically receiving money from my remote parents via their pins. When I decided to withdraw the money to bank account - they refused to give the money back and immediately canceled my account. Not sure how long this will take to resolve if it will resolve at all, but my money is now their money and looks like it always were...
Avoid them at all possible costs
I bought this card from their official web dealer WKV.com, then I tried to pay on bet site and pin didn't work. I tried to write to WKV but they said I need to contact paysafecard customer support directly. Their customer support does not provide any customer support. I wrote them and got answer after several attempts to contact. They offered to change pin to a working one and I agreed and then no new pin and no answer from them. After contacting one more time, they said that it doesn't work in country at all. So why then I was allowed to buy it at all. There were no information about any countries where it works, only commercial that it works very wide.
Paysafecard, or Prepaid Services Company Limited are not a trustworthy company.
If there is the slightest problem with it, they will keep the balance for themselves.
They do this "for your own protection"!
I've lost nearly £50 of my remaining balance.
The fraud that this payment system is meant to cirumvent, is mearly a means to divert money from the pockets of criminals to paysafecard and Prepaid Services Company Limited instead.
Do not trust them. Find another online payment system.
After a few short months without spending money, PSC will take an exorbitant monthly fee from your account until all funds are (quickly) drained. Beware!
I've used Paysafecards from 2010 to 2014 but since mid 2014 (it's 2017 now) I have no acces to my account including 50+ eur worth of credit. The reason for this is because I changed my mobile number through the years and guess what: you can only login with that specific mobile number. I've emailed their customer service many times but without any fruitful result. They refuse to change my old mobile number to my new one even after providing a copy of my identity and the bank account / credit card info i've always bought my cards with. I'll take my loss, fine. But i'll never use their services ever again. I feel robbed. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

So, bought paysafecards in another country, another currency. The terms state that their currency exchange rates will be applied which I was fine with. When I tried to use the cards it said I can't use them in this country. I contacted the customer service and they said you can't use paysafecards purchased in another country (why doesn't it say that anywhere on the site?) and that they will replace it, with PIN's I can use in my country after a picture ID is provided via email. I have provided them with all they requested and the email said I will have my replaced PIN's in 4-5 work days, today is the 6th work day since my email. After that I have asked about my case status, no response after 6 days. I guess ignoring customers is their way of dealing with the problem. Just brilliant.
It's no safe anymore. I lost my money(around 200€) and they blocked my account. 2weeks I already try to sent my 120€ to my bank account and they just sayed: we have problem, you must wait. Your account is blocked. I TOLD ALL my verification, but I must wait
Answer: Because they are not remotely safe. Their answer to detected fraud is to freeze the card and keep the balance! Yes - you read that right! They stop thieves from getting your money by keeping it for themselves. So the net effect is the same to you the paying customer. Avoid them at all costs.
