I have contacted PetCareRx several times for wanting a particular toy for our dog. Gibbs LOVES the Zippy Paws 6 blaster caterpillar so much that he goes through them rather quickly. It seems that PetCareRx is the only site at this time which has this squeaky toy. I found Peggy to be so helpful in finding this elusive dog toy not once, but twice! She also informed me of the benefit of subscribing to PetCareRx for our pup's medical needs. I did sign up and look forward in receiving Gibb's flea and tick meds etc. The 40% discount is remarkable. I will enjoy dealing with PetCareRx in the future. Thanks Peggy, for your over-the-top help!

I purchased one item from this company back in 2023 for my dog and I had no plans to order from them again. Out of the blue, and over one later this company has attempted to take/withdraw $54.11 out of my bank account with out my authorization. They attempted this transaction twice and can be proven. Oh was I upset! I called PetcareRX and spoke with a representative. I explained my concerns and then she transferred me to who I presumed was a manager or supervisor. I believe name was Jackie. I asked why is this company making unauthorized transactions on my account. She refused to give me a straight answer as I asked twice why are they making unauthorized transactions on my account! I am upset at this point! She says something about a yearly subscription that I had no ideal of and certainly did not agree to keep my card on file that long and charge it without my authorization. Expressing my disappointment, she eventually said she canceled my subscription. WHAT SUBSCRIPTION? At this point I told her that I would like to make a complaint and can I speak with a higher power. As she fortunately says, there's no one available at this time. I told her that I would be making several complaints. These are average hard working people you're taking advantage of and this needs to stop.

I had an issue with my Pet Plus subscription and I spoke with Tyra in customer service. She went above and beyond to make right the difficulty and to also issue a refund to my account, some thing I was not expecting. She provided calm and competent customer service in a way that she must be a great asset to the company. Thank you!

Third time using them. I like the fact that you don't need a written prescription, they contact your vet and verify for you. Also this time I accidentally ordered wrong dosage and vet caught it and told me he refused the prescription. A simple reply to their email receipt had my order changed and reshipped in a matter of minutes. I also had a immediate email reply when I thanked them for such good customer service.

They do not make the $50 membership fee clear before ordering and refused to cancel my order when I realized they overcharged me!

They did not charged me until after the items shipped and used the excuse, 'item has already shipped and we can't refund the order'. Don't use them.

What a terrible company with terrible customer service. Bought a 'membership' for $65 only to find out I needed to buy it for each pet I would be buying Heartgard for. Customer service did not care nor did anything to try and fix it. Was told I would get a call back from a supervisor, I ended up having a call back myself. Take some tips from the reviews on this website and go somewhere else for your pet's medications.

Peggy the lady on the phone helping me with my order. Was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. She helped me quickly and efficiently. I buy from them on a monthly basis. Prompt delivery. Works with my veterinarian to get prescription. Very pleased with this company

Overcharge for products widely available, offer half price discounts for their membership but only when you are cancelling, will modify an order after you made it in order to remove discounts, will even send and charge you for an order that has clearly been cancelled.

Maybe the worst experience I've had with any pet provider. Very unhelpful customer service - I'd go so far as to say they were dishonest. Horrible return policies. Endless delays for products and responses. Avoid if at all possible.

Talked to a supervisor Andrew for medication that they were out of stock on, finally in and they doubled the price! It was $35.00 and they took it to $70.00! They will take advantage of you any chance they get!
Supervisor didn't care that they were losing a customer... Buy from Pet Value Mart!

I called to clarify a price 'discrepancy' on a previous order, and Peggy politely explained that the price was correct. I went back to the page and realized that I was mistaken. Then Peggy suggested I add another pet on to their discount program, especially since it was on sale. I agreed. Shortly thereafter I got an email from Peggy letting me know that their system had charged me full price for the membership. She refunded the difference to my card before I even knew there was a problem. Great job, Peggy!

Stephanie was very efficient and helpful; I think prices for Trifexis are affordable. I usually call in the prescription because my vet does not have a fax machine. Petcare Rx has good follow up with orders.

I recently ordered a prescription refill for my puggle from PetCareRx.com. Today I received a phone call from Cristina F. Informing me that my order has shipped. She also wanted to offer me a membership in PetPlus. She explained the benefits of membership, including wholesale prices and free shipping on all orders, and said she could offer me a membership for half the usual cost. She answered all my questions quickly and professionally... it was a pleasure talking with her. Of course I accepted her offer and Cristina promptly followed up with an email confirming my membership in PetPlus. It's such a pleasure dealing with customer service as proficient as this. Cristina is a definite asset to PetCareRx and deserving of a 5 star review!

This business gives discounts had 30% off. Said sitewide. But some products are exempt. They said we say that, guess where word for word what they said. At the very bottom of the page in small print. Deceptive practices will have you join membership, say its free then charge you. Or renew without telling you. Check their BBB Complaints there are a ton. Do not use this company!

Tip for consumers:
Helpful? Do not use this company buy elsewhere..... so many businesses cheaper...... even Petco for food.

Isha before and Michelle today were both excellent.
Isha really got things off to a good start. I was a bit suspicious of the membership option and he handled it beautifully and I signed up.
Then my order was acknowledged very rapidly, contact with my vet was very fast and my order moved very quickly to being shipped. The $ savings were great and the whole experience was outstanding.

So I was checking my bank account and noticed there was $65 taken out by Petcare RX. I contacted customer service stating I would like a refund and the representative kept trying to get me to take on another year for half the price. I told her I didn't want that I just wanted a refund because as far as I knew I was no longer a member and was surprised to see money taken out of my account. She finally said she would cancel but had the gall to state on my cancellation reason that I was rude. She didn't even know how to spell correctly. I called back and told the next CSR I felt this was unprofessional and wanted the comment taken off of my account. She hung up on me! There isn't even a way to cancel your membership online at all.

I bought a bag of Hill's Prescription cat food (c/d variety) in Dec 2021 that was delivered in early January. I just opened it last week and long story short, after a couple feedings, both my cats - who had been eating this variety of food since about Sept 2021 - threw up and wouldn't eat anymore of it. I called PetCareRx this morning to report the issue and waited about 10 minutes for a supervisor before soeone finally said someone would call me back. After 5 hours, I had gotten no response so I called back. The end result is that because I'd had the bag (which is stamped with a Best Buy date of 6/23) over 30 days, there was nothing they could do. They didn't seem to care about the lot # stamped on the bag to see if the product had been recalled, they asked no follow up questions, asked no info about my cats, offered no discount on another bag - nothing. So $60+ in the toilet. Even area stray cats won't eat it. Very disappointing and I've canceled my membership with them.

I purchased their yearly petplus (which they renew automatically on your credit card). Often when I tried to order my dog's food or treats they were out of them for quite some time. So I had his medicine on auto fill & kept extra on hand in case they ran out. This was a packaged med not a specialty one for him. My dog suddenly passed away & I had two unopened packages of the meds which they refused to let me return because I had them > 30 days. I feel this is a bad policy since he had died & I wouldn't have known that was going to happen so I couldn't have returned them within that time. Period.
Also they act like you save so much with petplus but you don't save nearly what they tell you since you usually can get 25% off their prices even without purchasing it.

In regards to your concern, due to pharmacy board law and general health considerations pharmacies cannot take back any prescriptions medications. Of course if its anything over the counter we can certainly take care of that for you, we are sorry but this is a policy we must follow as a pharmacy. We hope you understand. The membership is expected to save you more then any coupons or offers available as its all wholesale price. If you'd like you can contact us so we can total out your savings while you were an active member. Those who don't save a minimum of the cost of the membership get the difference refunded or put as a credit after the 1 year term is complete.

I have placed my first order for the tablet version of Selegiline for our almost 14 year old Mini Schnoodle with dementia. He was prescribed the capsule version from our vet which took 2 weeks to receive and he will not take this in his food! He shakes his head and spits out the food. I needed something smaller and PetCareRx was the only place I could find and at such a great discount! With dog dementia, time is precious with no time to waste! Andrew was wonderful, called me right back to follow up, offering discounts to help with a membership, etc. and it was wonderful to have that person-to-person contact! He was a pleasure to speak with and emailed with follow-up of our conversation! Great customer service! Great prices! I am even passing along your company to my veterinarian as their source takes too long!

I was introduced to PetCareRx by our vet. They normally carry a medication our dog uses daily. When I requested the refill I was told the medication was on back order.' They told me to try here. Indeed, PetCareRx had the medication in stock for at a cost less than our vet. They also had a promo code for free shipping.

After setting up the account and submitting my order I was contacted by Andrew S who said he was a case manager. He had a lot of valuable information and, ultimately, I registered for the annual savings plans. I also received an email after my vet faxed in the prescription stating the order had been approved and the medication is being shipped.

I've been with PetCareRX for 3 years now. Every time I've called I've had a friendly voice on the line who was ready to help. Orders come quickly and only once has a product been out of stock. Even then, they called around to find the dog food for me. Just recently, I spoke with Megan Clapp who assisted me with renewing my PetPlus - which has been a huge help with meds.
