I have contacted PetCareRx several times for wanting a particular toy for our dog. Gibbs LOVES the Zippy Paws 6 blaster caterpillar so much that he goes through them rather quickly. It seems that PetCareRx is the only site at this time which has this squeaky toy. I found Peggy to be so helpful in finding this elusive dog toy not once, but twice! She also informed me of the benefit of subscribing to PetCareRx for our pup's medical needs. I did sign up and look forward in receiving Gibb's flea and tick meds etc. The 40% discount is remarkable. I will enjoy dealing with PetCareRx in the future. Thanks Peggy, for your over-the-top help!

I purchased one item from this company back in 2023 for my dog and I had no plans to order from them again. Out of the blue, and over one later this company has attempted to take/withdraw $54.11 out of my bank account with out my authorization. They attempted this transaction twice and can be proven. Oh was I upset! I called PetcareRX and spoke with a representative. I explained my concerns and then she transferred me to who I presumed was a manager or supervisor. I believe name was Jackie. I asked why is this company making unauthorized transactions on my account. She refused to give me a straight answer as I asked twice why are they making unauthorized transactions on my account! I am upset at this point! She says something about a yearly subscription that I had no ideal of and certainly did not agree to keep my card on file that long and charge it without my authorization. Expressing my disappointment, she eventually said she canceled my subscription. WHAT SUBSCRIPTION? At this point I told her that I would like to make a complaint and can I speak with a higher power. As she fortunately says, there's no one available at this time. I told her that I would be making several complaints. These are average hard working people you're taking advantage of and this needs to stop.

Before I was contacted by Andrew singer at pet Care RX, I was very frustrated because I could not get in touch was a real human being at the vet website recommended by my veterinarian. I was trying to refill an order for some special diet dog food, and I had received an email telling me the next shipment would be delayed due to a manufacturer shortage. When I called the company, I was kept in a revolving voicemail cycle and never transferred to an operator even though I kept pressing 0. Then I decided to send an email to an address that had been given to me by the company to see if I could get a status. This was three or four hours ago and I still have not received a reply to that email. Imagine my surprise after I found the same dog food on pet Care RX and place my order I got a call from a human being named Andrew Singer. Due to the pandemic, I have waited as long as an hour on hold waiting for a customer service rep to respond to my call because things are overloaded. Having a real person reach out to me to assist was a treasure today. Andrew answered all of my questions very patiently and we are just waiting for my veterinarian to approve the prescription diet. Meanwhile I still haven't heard back from the other online vet website. Thank you for providing excellent customer service!

Worked with Jaclyn Y and Darrin on an order that had a delivery issue Both were extremely helpful and got the meds my dog needed asap
I am a long time customer and always had good experiences but this was the best
Jaclyn was very patient, professional and most important FRIENDLY She made sure my order was taken care of and extended all the courtesy a PetcareRx customer deserves

I have ordered meds that needed approval from my Vet. The Vet approved it, they took my money, but I just kept getting emails that they were out of stock. It took 2 weeks for a sick cat to get its medication. I have ordered many other things from this site, and there came the email - out of stock. So it either took several weeks to get the order, or they just up and cancelled pieces of it. On top of that, I ordered some things because they were specialty items to be shipped with something else if you bought it. I only received part of it, and when I called them, they gave me the number of their affiliate who told me they didn't offer that and to call PetCareRX back. This went back and forth until I had to ask for a manager, but they never let me talk to a manager. I looked at how to contact them on a higher level and came across the Affiliates section and how to become one. I guess they have a pyramid scheme set up and if said affiliate doesn't do what they're supposed to do, you can't do anything about it. If you go to a website and order something, you should not only get what you order, but never have to go through a process where you have to keep calling them back to get your order and even then you never get said order. This site should be shut down immediately!

Tip for consumers:
Go to another site. You either won't get your order, or you'll have to spend hours on the telephone with whatever affiliate didn't send it or PetCareRx to get a partial discount and still not even get what you ordered in the first place. This is NOT a reputable website!

Ordered prescription food for our cat 2 weeks ago (14 days). PetCareRX called our cat's vet the same day to confirm the scrip, and immediately after, our vet called us to confirm they approved the order.

Two weeks later, we're wondering where the food is. We received no emails, no phone calls. After emailing customer support (because they only have EST office hours, and we're on the West Coast), support tells us that they called our vet and the vet declined confirmation, and they supposedly emailed me to tell me this.

I point out to them that (a) after calling our vet again, they had the confirmation on file, (b) I received no such email, (c) they shouldn't be able to just charge my card and make no further attempts to contact us, and (d) I'd like to see a copy of the email they claimed they sent me along with header information.

There was no reply -- just an automated phone call made to us from a 877 number (which we always screen). Now it's too late to order because their office is closed.

Just emailed them to cancel the order, ordered it on Chewy.com, and already got confirmation from our vet (5 MINUTES LATER).

PetCareRX sucks! Stay away.

This company charged me over $100.00 for a subscription that I have no idea what it is and I have never authorized them to charge me for this service. They just did it without me ever having subscribed to anything before. I contacted customer service but I still have NOT received a refund. This company is a scam. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION! Dishonest and deceitful company.

Have been ordering prescriptions from petcareRx for several years now. I think even with paying the annual membership fee, you still save a decent amount of money on buying prescriptions here vs at the Vet's office.
The only negative feedback I'll state is, when you order online you're given an option if you want them to call your vet to verify the prescription or if you're going to mail in the written prescription. Well, my vet won't authorize phone prescriptions, so I always mail them in. Typically, I place the order online, mail the prescription in with the order number and once they receive it then my order gets processed. Well, I selected I'm MAILING the written script, but I just got an email saying they called my vet but they only authorized part of my prescription. Well... the reason why is because my dog lost weight so her tick/flea medication requires a totally different prescription from whatvi had on my previous orders (which they were going by when they called my vet). Why give the option on how to verify the prescription if they're going to call the vet anyways when I told them I'm mailing it?

Generally once an order is placed and you select to mail in a prescription, the order goes on hold for 7 days until the prescription is received in the mail. If its not received in a week, then our team attempts to gain an approval from the veterinarian on file to ensure the order is shipped as soon as possible for your pets next dosage unless you contact us to extend the hold. If there is a refill on file, the prescription will be automatically processed. This is not the first time that I've written a review for pecare RX. I've been using them probably since 2005 if not before and they have never disappointed me with regard to anything I've ever purchased from them. They are an excellent company and their customer service representatives are outstanding. It means a lot when you have a dog that is aging and sick and they can relate to you when you speak to them and they actually understand how quickly you need the medication for a dog that lives on it. Without mentioning names, I ordered canine adequan from "another company" and they are very unreliable and after an ongoing problem with them which lasted about a week, I have decided to get this product from Only from Pet Care RX. I just literally got off the phone with the representative Ayesha and she was genuinely nice and caring and I can't thank her enough for her outstanding customer service. The item that I needed was in stock (as it always is) from their company and she was nice enough to even ask me if I would have enough to get me through until my dogs next injection. When you have a pet that is ill, getting his medication on time is imperative. Speaking to Ayesha was like a breath of fresh air as is all of the customer service representatives that work at this company. They take pride in offering the most outstanding service and I cannot thank them enough. Keep up the good work. We APPRECIATE YOU! More than you can imagine.

I ordered a prescription from PetcareRx. I called the company and was told that they would reach out to my vet and get the prescription sent to them. After 4 days of waiting I called this company and they said that they don't do this and to mail the prescription to them. So here goes the first week. WE called them again 9-11-17 and they said that they would have to go through over 300 mailed in prescriptions and would find, process, and call me back to let me know that this was taken care of. Of course no call back. We called them again on 9-14-17 and was told that the product shipped and we should receive no later than 9-18-17. On 9-19-17 my credit card was charged and I received an email stating that the product was shipped. We are now 3 weeks into this disaster. The customer service people could have not had any less concern. WE got an "oh well" you should get it this week. In the mean time my dog is without pain medicine. I don't care how cheap this company is on the prescriptions. I will never use them again Nothing but untrained customer service people that lie to you.

Last year, after placing my first order with Pet Care Rx, I signed up for Pet Plus and then wrote a bad review about it. However, I kept the Pet Plus for the year and kept ordering from Pet Care Rx, mostly because I can't find my dog's favorite toys on any other web site. So then it came time for my Pet Plus to renew and I was keeping an eye on my credit card for the fee. (If you remember, last year I was quoted $99 for the year but was then charged $108 and change, and was never told why.) So imagine my surprise when I was charged over $150! I immediately sent off an email to their customer service telling them to cancel my Pet Plus and my whole account. I got back an offer to cut the Pet Plus fee by 50% and was told that the fee had gone up. Most prices have gone up, but who takes a fee from $99 a year to over $150 a year?! That is just ridiculous! I imagine they are going to lose a lot of customers on that. As it is, no matter what happens, this will be my last year with Pet Care Rx. My dog is just going to have to give up her favorite toys!

Tip for consumers:
The prices for the products are pretty good but DON'T sign up for the Pet Plus!!

Toys-rubber pigs that GRUNT! SO cute! A stuffed chicken that is made from some kind of material that my dog CAN'T rip up. (She destroys all her other stuffed animal toys).

I have a prescription on file. But for some reason, they call the vet to confirm the prescription rather than use the subscription they already have that has been verified. If the vet does not answer, the order gets placed on hold, sits in limbo and my dog runs out of meds. She needs them to stay alive. They do not bother to reach out to me to let me know the status.

In order to make sure the order gets sent off in a timely matter, I have to:
1. Place the order
2. Send an email explaining what I just explained above
3. Call their customer service number (waiting up to a half-hour to be received by an agent) to make sure they received the order. (this is because I do not receive a reply to my written message)

They have a callback number because their customer service line is understaffed. But when I have used that option, I have never received a callback.

The only reason why I am continuing with them is that they have the prescription on file and I will need to make another costly appointment with my vet to make changes to where the prescription is sent.

Since they are dealing with medications that are vital for the life of pets, they ought to be very organized. They are not.

I also paid $100 a year for "PetPlus". I see no noticeable perks other than a slight discount that does not add up to $100 for the year. Not worth the purchase.

The worst experience. Going on the 3rd week since I ordered my pet meds. So slow. I doubt they stock anything.

Also pressured for signing up for a discount with a membership. I nearly cancelled my order while on the phone. I wish I did.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE CLOWNS. They run this business as if they were two stoned teenagers.
