For the second time I have ordered a framed photo from Pictureframes.com and they have sent the frame with no picture. Absolutely inexcusable. I used Pictureframes.com for years with great success, but it has turned into a disaster. Do not send them a photo and expect it to show up in a frame.
Customer service is appalling. First of all, it takes so many days to get this frame made and ordered. Secondly, I messaged them about it saying I never received a shipping confirmation and their customer serivice team sent me back the most generic email. Thirdly, I tried calling which goes right to voicemail. Thirdly, because the frame took so long to ship - it ended up at an address that I no longer live at because I MOVED. I asked them to change the address - and it still got sent to the wrong place. I am disgusted that this company still exists. Don't give them your business or waste your time framing your precious items. Best to go in person to a framer instead.

I was terrified to order because of all the negative reviews I read here but they were the ONLY company offering what I wanted so I placed an order for a frame with a 24x36 opening - costing nearly $300. It arrived in a timely fashion and is gorgeous! I'm so happy with my purchase and will definitely order again!

I was not very satisfied with the quality and service I received from pictureframes.com. I ordered through them last month and then began searching for other art companies to go through. I stumbled upon this company called PhotosThatShine. They had a pretty interesting collection of acrylic art and then I checked out their canvases and couldn't believe how cheap they were! Anyways, I placed an order and when it arrived I was more than pleased with the quality of their products. They seem to know what they are doing. PictureFrames.com engages in bait and switch. They lead you to believe you are framing a photograph that you upload, but just send the frame instead. When I advised them of their error they DENIED it was their fault despite how clearly they were in the wrong and when they FINALLY decided to issue a refund they INSISTED on charging me for the return postage. They have terrible customer service. I was hung up on in the middle of my complaint and was forced to call again. Don't use them, there are plenty of other sites that perform the same function with good customer service. Avoid this company like the plague.

This company is incompetent! They messed up my complete order of many frames right before an art show I had and didn't care that they did. They never tried to fix the problem, never called or emailed me with a solution, and didn't give me a full refund, only a partial refund. As you can see by the reviews, I'm not the only one who has had issues with this company. BUY ELSEWHERE!

I contacted BBB, which gave them an A+ rating. Takeaway: Don't trust BBB rating. I means nothing.
Ordered an 18 x 24 canvas frame. Frame was in good condition when it arrived but the opening was too large. I called to return it and was told that the actual size of the frame opening was given on my confirmation email. I did not order a 18 5/8 x 24 3/4 frame (there was not option for that when ordering) so I did not think to look for that. My option was that I could return the frame, pay for the return shipping and not get a refund of the original shipping. I just wanted to get a frame that was true to size.
Stay away from this company. It's a big rip off.
My aunt recently passed away so I wanted to get a customized frame with her picture on it. That's the option I selected! 2 1/2 weeks later, I receive a board, and a frame with a pack of nails with a how to manual on how to set up the frame with NO PICTURE! They ripped me off! I wouldn't even give them one star! On top of that, they don't even answer the phone and rarely responds to emails! I would NOT recommend this place at ALL.

I ordered 3 frames. 1 was assembled but had 3 scratches. The other 2 came in pieces and were missing parts to assemble and had scratches! If I would have known they needed to be assembled, I would not have purchased them in the first place. The website clearly reads: Arrives fully assembled with hanging hardware included. I paid an extra oversized carrier charge, and they still came in small unassembled packaging. They could have so easily put all 3 ASSEMBLED frames in the oversized box the 1 frame came in, and I could overlook the quality. This company lies. I would not recommend.

I placed an order for a custom from on their website on 5/30/20 it clearly states 4 day turn around even for custom and your payment gets posted same day of order. They say they will email you as soon as it ships. I emailed on 6/8 to find out status. Got a canned email response saying orders should take up to 10 day. On the 8th I was at 10 days. No email no call. I emailed again on 6/14 to find out status. Same canned response. Said I should be contacted but could take up to 5 days. I called the customer service line finally today expecting to get at least a person to talk to about my order. I was on hold and in que for 30 minutes thinking I was holding for a person. It finally dropped the call to a voice mail. I have since wrote in an email to cancel my order and will be disputing their charge for lack of merchandise or even any information on my order. Terrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone shop here.

Scam company. Lie about pricing, shipping exorbitant and when there is "free shipping", they tack on surcharge. Frame starts at $109, then becomes over $400. Stop your continual emails scams…would never purchase from you
I bought two frames with triple mats to fit my pictures 14X20 inches.
The mats were not cut correctly and left 1/2 inches gap. I contacted costumer care several time by email and phone. I sent pictures of the frames with my art in showing the gaps and the measurements. I received no answer. It is a disappointment. I spent $ 250 on two frames that i can not use.

I ordered 4 frames on 3rd June 2020 from Pictureframes.com. I received no email confirmation of the order, the payment was taken and as of today (26th June) I have not received any communication from them or the goods.
I have sent two emails - messaged them directly from the website. Mysteriously their chat option hasn't worked this week and have been on hold twice trying to get through on the phone - both times for over 45 mins and both time unsuccessful. I understand that business during COVID times may be affected, however some kind of communication would be appreciated.

I had to return the frame because it didn't specified there was nothing on the back to hold the picture so it was literally just the frame, they said the only charge I'll have is the UPS well couple of weeks later they refund half of my money so i called and ask why and they say because they don't return the shipping cost which was 20$! So not only i had to pay to get it but then to return it and they wouldn't give me back the money i pay for shipping it to me which I'm sure is more expensive that what it cost them.

I have been their customer since the 80's. I have tried contacting thru chat, phone, and repeated emails. I have received not answers to my questions on my orders. I have been shorted 5 frames. I have paid for them but have never received them. Very poor service! I'm posting on every website, art organization, and facebooking my displeasure with their current business practices. I'm not sure if it will do anything but it is happening now.
$200+ for two frames, and they showed up with no backing, no hardware, and a giant smudge on the white mat of one of the frames. What am I supposed to do with that? Called customer service, and it's another $135 to get the right materials to actually frame my pictures. What a scam! I already thought the frames were too expensive - especially given the poor quality of the wood. Now I'm told I have to pay more just to make these usable. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

I use this site to print out artwork for my home. I buy photos online at places like istockphotos and then print them out on huge 20x30 prints on canvas. Everyone wonders how I can get such amazing artwork custom designed for my home. Takes me very little time and I get customized artwork for my house.
My order was messed up…One frame completely missing and received a duplicate order of another frame. They are not taking phone calls so two emails later, and three live chat sessions I am finally told they cannot upload the SKU number for my missing frame. Only through MY efforts would I have found this out. Will never order from this company again AND the frame that I never received is still on their website despite NOT being able to be offered to customers
Answer: Impossible. No one answers the phones or calls back, no one answers their emails. They'll stay in contact until they get your payment and then they disappear.
