I ordered a frame in November of 2023 for my daughter who had just graduated with her masters degree. We were looking through sites and I was taking notes since I don't see her often. She really liked the ones that we saw on pictureframes.com and I ordered an expensive one. I just expected the frame had arrived since we both lead fast-paced lives and even though we talk at least weekly, it may not have come up in conversation apart from all the other gifts she had gotten at the time. I realized around march of 2024 that she hadn't gotten it and when I called, customer service led me to believe that it would be another 3-4 weeks out. Okay we playbthe waiting game, life gets busy, and now, in August of 2024 I ruin what surprise would have been left and ask her if she's gotten it. Go figure the answer would be no. I cancelled the order and we will order somewhere else. Someone could have contacted one of the two of us offering a similar item or refund at some point. Very disappointed!
I've been a customer of pictureframes.com for years. Most of the artwork in my house is framed by them. When it came time to decorate the last room in my house, I turned to them. I ordered three simple wood frames of different colors. All three were horribly produced-none of the corners were 90 degrees. There were sizable gaps where the corners met. They are also using a much lighter and cheaper wood in the same frame type that I've purchased before. Buyer beware. I'm going local, but I'm sad this great company is no more.
There was a 2 month delay in my picture frame order with no update or notification about it from the company. There was also no response to my email for almost two weeks when I asked for an update on my order. There is no way to contact the company via phone. I got no empathy from customer service representative in the online chat. There was no ability to change my order to a frame that they had in stock so that I could expedite it. Terrible experience all around. Will never use again.
I've been a customer for years without issue, but this year everything changed. Early this year I received a gift card they could not seem to process and that was an ordeal. Why sell gift cards that are useless on your site? Next, I ordered a bunch of frames which were charged immediately to my credit card and then received an email saying *one* of them was back ordered. So apparently the entire order just sat. Then I called customer service 6 weeks later because by then I needed the frames they said it would ship soon but they couldn't tell me when. I promptly disputed the charge and went elsewhere for my frames. Finally (like a fool) I recently needed just one frame and really like this style so I ordered it and hoped they had their stuff figured out. Nope…just disputed the charge after no response from customer service. I will never order from this company again!
I ordered a Blue frame from this site with 2 backing for an astronomical price of $154.00.
After waiting almost 3 weeks, it arrived totally wrong. I received a white frame with a single white backing. Tried to call them, they say in their massage that they don't answer their phone.
I would never ever order from these people. Highway robbery is the least I can describe them.
Please do not order from this site.
I was looking for a frame in an unusual color and width and felt fortunate to find it at pictureframes.com. Ordering was easy- and when I wanted to change my charge information, customer service was incredibly helpful. The frame arrived quickly and was just what I was looking for... and I'm a fussy old Architect who's hard to please!
Ordered 2 frames from them, one had issues, but they were willing to fix it. In the end I ended up with 2 good frames, which is what I had paid for, so I'm happy. Of course it would be even better if the frames were just 100% from the getgo.
81 days or 11 weeks and 4 days ago, Almost 1/4 of a year ago, I ordered a frame for a picture. They miscut the frame. I have spent hours formulating and sending 10 emails, including MANY MANY pictures of the miscut frame to get the correct frame. The last email from them said they'd send a new frame, notify me when the frame shipped. That was on Oct 31,2023. Still no frame, no notice it shipped. Ridiculous
Believe nothing they tell you about their production schedule and shipping. Before I placed my order, they assumed me they would have my order to me on time before my daughters wedding. We are well past the time I should have received my order and I can't get an answer. I call everyday, and get the same non answer.
Canceled my order through Pay-pal, and tried to reach customer service with no luck. Reply email stated CS will get back to me within 3-5 BD.! Finally CS reply 3 weeks after I placed the order: We want to ensure you know that the order is on hold due to an item currently out of stock!.
I ordered 5 frames in standard sizes. Received a confirmation and then confirmation of shipping a few days later. Two weeks later I received only 1 of the frames. No explanation or message from them. No phone and no one on chat during their hours. Eventually got someone who said the other frames were on backorder and couldn't guarantee when they would come. Unacceptable as i needed them for a show.
Frames took forever to get here. When they arrived, i learned that they didn't include a backing or glass, which would have been nice to know before I ordered. (They were kind enough to include a catalog though, in case you're naive enough to order from them again. Lol!) The actual frames are very shoddy quality, super cheap looking with lots of cracks in the paint and very uneven application. I'm trying to get a refund but looking at these reviews I'll be surprised if I get back $50 of my $261 order. Learn from my mistakes and don't waste your hard earned dollars on these scam artists.
I ordered more than $1,200 worth of frames for an art show, with a lead time of more than three weeks. I was promised that pictureframes.com could make and deliver these within that time. What happened was, they did not deliver. It's been nearly a month and I still can't get these frames. They won't contact the shipper (they give me the info so they don't have to do anything). They offer apologies, but no so much as a $20 coupon for them screwing up. I've ordered from them in the past, with mixed results. Their prices seem cheap because you get what you pay for. Until you don't even get that. And pictureframes.com doesn't care. Avoid using them!
I ordered two frames on 8/2/22. The total $361.70 and I only received the less expensive frame. I called customer service to complain and they said they would look into it. That was 2 more weeks ago. Since that time you can not reach a LIVE person. They have $287.11 of my money and you can't reach them. I have also sent them emails at their customer service with no response. I will contact the news media next for some help.
I have purchased many frames over several years from PictureFrames.com, always with good results. A few weeks ago, I ordered a "canvas floater" frame that arrived in the wrong size and with large gaps where the frame pieces meet in the corners. Customer service is not accepting any phone calls (!) and my chat message to them has not been returned after several days. Looks like I am out $56. I will NEVER order from this website again. From the reviews I see here, it looks like I am not alone.
I purchased a very expensive custom picture frame as a gift for my daughter months ago - expect to receive it in about a week. After 2 months of hearing nothing I inquired and was told the frame would come in 2 months (around mid december) mid december came and went so I inquired again and guess what? Now it is some time in february. Customer service? That is when someone is looking out for you, lets you know proactively that there is an issue with your order, suggests a similar product or gives you some other ideas. This is a joke, a front, this is not a real company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AN MONEY!
I have ordered 2-3 large frames over the last 6-7 years from PictureFrames.com. At that time, I found their selection of frames quite satisfactory and their customer service reasonably good. Recently, I placed an order for a large frame, and I discovered that they disabled their phone line, in addition of ignoring e-mails. I waited for 4 weeks to have an update for my order before e-mailing them to let them know that if I do not hear from them within 3 days, I will cancel my order. Few days later I got my refund. I am no longer going to do business with this company.
I ordered $2300 worth of frames, plexiglass and backing on Sept. 29,2022. Nothing complicated; frames not pre-assembled, no custom mats. I have not received my order, nor have I received any updates about its's process. They do not answer their phones, per the message that you get when you call them. They do not respond to e-mails, and the chat people are useless. They maintain that they are understaffed and that their new "fulfillment" center is just getting up to speed. Ok. I am about to reach out to the Better Business Bureau to see if I can get some help.
I bought all my frames thru them with good results in the past, but starting late 2022 there was no customer service and no phone calls answered, something bad has happened there.
I had ordered from this site several years ago without an issue. Ordered from them a few months ago and it's been nothing but a headache. It's almost impossible to reach anyone to check on an order. When I finally reached a person, she told me she would check on it and call me back. She never did. It took over a month to ship the items but finally received them and thought I was done with them. Well, today I received a duplicate of one of the pictures I had framed. Have no idea why and whether or not I have been charged for this one. Once again, cannot reach anyone by phone (been temporarily disconnected according to the website) or live chat. Sent an email with picture but not feeling hopeful. Will never use this business again.
Answer: Impossible. No one answers the phones or calls back, no one answers their emails. They'll stay in contact until they get your payment and then they disappear.
