I ordered 5 small plants. Super excited they are beautiful. Even have some new growth. I have not had any issues what so ever. They were ordered. They came perfectly packed and now it is up to me to keep them thriving! I'll order again
I have yet to receive a refund or a response About why my plants came with a bacterial infection. Black spots all over the leaves and I paid a lot for these plants. I got one response with none response with no explanation that said will give you a discount and then I've never heard from them since. I'm very disappointed because from such great videos on YouTube Amanda makes it seem like her company will really take care of you and send you out quality stuff. But that's not the case. I'm waiting for my refund and I will never buy from them again. There are other nurseries that give great customer service and quality plants
I can't believe the prices they want for tiny plants! They offer 1/2 price for purchasing 2 or more plants, but the 1/2 price is expensive. I thought maybe since they are hard to find, I would try this once and see what I get. NOPE, when they came they were tiny and in NO Way worth the price I paid. I had trouble with the packing. Sent them a note and got a response to watch the unpacking video. That video would only be useful to a moron. It was not similar to my problem whatsoever. They still were not too concerned. After waiting a week I finally decided to just "bulldoze" my way through the packaging and finally got it opened. I was really hoping for something more with the plants. I have tried to water them, but they added some "stuff" (I have no idea how to describe it) that I have no idea what is that is covering the soil. Water runs off it and I guess I will just have to remove it also. I hope the plant does not just fall apart when I remove the stuff. NOT HAPPY!
Tip for consumers:
Beware and only take a chance if you must purchase a specific plant or die!

I have purchased tons of houseplants from them and a few came delivered out of the nursery pot. The first I sent a complaint and they sent me a new one but it was tiny, i spent $55 so i was not too happy. I tried to be understanding but now I received a straight dead and mush pothos. Unfortunately I will probably not be ordering any more from them
I ordered 2 red Maranta plants in the size "large" from Planterina. Understanding that these are living things, I didn't expect them to be perfect or exactly the same. When they arrived one was more or less as expected, the other was considerably smaller and about half the leaves were yellow, curling and dried. I sent them an email within 2 days (hoping that given a little time after shipping that it might perk up) and never received a response. Nothing, not even an acknowledgement. I would not buy from them again.
I purchased a Hoya crimson queen and received a free snake plant with my order. The order was well packed and received in less than a week. Little by little my hiya continues to die. I reached out to Planterina for a discount or 1/2 of the plant to be replaced. They offered a $20 credit off my next order. No thanks! Not interested and dissatisfied with my first online plant order. Buy local!
Bought an extra_ large tricolor hoya with no pink color! The size was at best, medium. Sent pictures. Response was it was healthy, and it was nothing they could do for me it was not refundable. I paid over hundred dollars for this plant!
I ordered a variegated Dieffenbachia, commonly named " Tropic Maryanne". This plant is supposed to have variegated leaves, patterns of dark and light markings. The one I received from Planterina had already lost its variegation before it arrived. The newest four leaves had gone completely green, meaning NO more variegated leaves will ever be produced (unless I do something drastic like chop it down to the base and begin again.) This is not what I ordered. I asked Planterina for a refund and they granted me 30% of what I paid.
Tip for consumers:
Its a gamble. You may not get exactly what you ordered. They're not to fussy about what they send.
The plant is not as large as I expected. It is definitely not hi color golden. The only reason I ordered it was to get a very variegated large pothos. That is definitely not what I received. Extremely disappointed!
Tip for consumers:
The true appearance of the plant. It looked nothing like the picture.

I'm an experienced plant person and every single plant I ordered from this company has brown spot! Now concerned the brown spot will spread to my other valuable plants

I spent nearly $100 on a large sansievieria jaboa and it came waterlogged. This was concerning but at the time the plant looked good and I decided to just watch the plant. After a week or so leaves started getting mushy. I would lose a couple leaves a week. After a month or so I contacted the company asking for a replacement and telling them the issue. They basically said that I had waited too long and they couldn't help me. I hadn't even watered the plant at this point because my moisture meter was still reading very wet. I will never buy another plant from planterina. There is no phone number to reach an actual human. I should have known better than to trust a website that doesn't have reviews.
Horrible experience. They keep making excuses why the plant is not doing well. All BS its been less than a week. They send me cuttings of a plant and they are not even rooted.
I had purchased 2 orders from Planterina (my first orders ever), 3 plants in each order on 9/10/22 and expected them to ship in 2-5 business days like the website says. They did not. After giving them AMPLE time and not receiving any updates on my orders I reached out on 9/18/22 asking what going on, it's going on 2 weeks.
They did reply saying they are short staffed but working through orders. So I gave the benefit of the doubt and waited. I saw that they shipped it that day so I was excited. It was supposed to arrive on that Thursday 9/22/22 however I woke up to a delivered scan in North Branch Minnesota. I live in Arizona. Needless to say after calling UPS and confirming the wrong delivery I immediately requested a refund on both orders. So now I'm out of plants and money while I wait for the return to go through.
Watching the professionalism of Amanda from Planterina on YouTube and the service I received from her company are 2 totally different things. I am super disappointed and dissatisfied with services from them. Wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. The only good thing I guess is that when I requested a refund they did it promptly. My assumption is this must happen a lot.
I normally don't write bad reviews. It takes a lot for me to, but I was so surprised at the careless process and execution I felt I needed to state my experience. Won't be ordering from there again. If the shipping is this terrible I'm concerned for the type of quality that I would have gotten in my plants.
I ordered 10 plants and half of them are struggling, most of them either lacked proper roots or had been uprooted :( will not buy from them ever again

Order live plants from other sellers
I've purchased several house plants from here and they are beautiful, affordable, and free shipping. However, my last order was cancelled and I requested a refund, because the plant sold out. Ok, no problem, or so I thought. After checking my bank account for several days, no refund deposit showed up. I contacted them thru email and ask "when can I expect my refund"?. They emailed me back to say " it was issued 5/4/20 and removed from their account. That I should contact my bank about the transaction, being released, etc". I did just that, but no refund deposit from Planterina was ever deposited back into my account. My bank and I went thru my history, no pending transaction was showing up, nothing. The transaction showing was when they were paid on April 29,2020. Emailed them back, but got the same response over and over again. I never received my refund and probably never will. Planterina doesn't have a physical address online nor on their site. With that being, there isn't anyway to file a complaint with CA or BBB. Talk about convenient for them huh. I'm very disappointed that this has happened. You take a chance when ordering online, I know. It only takes one time for me to get burn. Never will I ever buy from this Nursery again. Update... After posting my review I received my refund. STILL, customers be aware just in case. I still feel the same a far as doing business with them. Especially, since all three plants died eventually.
Tip for consumers:
Terrible refund service from my experience. Be aware.

The good reviews are NOT REAL. They are FAKE. Planterina.com SUCKS HARD. Do Not Purchase! RUN. These people are selling LEAVES that aren't rooted. The crazy thing is, these reviews are FALSE! I did research and tracked the GOOD reviews back to Planterina. RUN.

They SUCK. They wanted to send me more dead leaves. No thank you. I want a REFUND.
Original review: I've made several orders, as have others I know. Increasingly, what they are shipping is much much smaller than what they describe and depict online. I bought a very expensive XL string of bananas plant, and what arrived was nothing compared to what they pictured on the product page. There was hardly any plant there, for $150, it was such an incredible let down. I've emailed to ask for a reimbursement. Previous orders were also on the small side, not quite measuring up to what was pictured or the size described on the site, but this order was so over the top that I finally complained. I'm sad to have to stop ordering from Planterina, but the plants are just so disappointingly smaller than advertised.
Update: 11 days after the plant was delivered, it is nearly dead. Care for the plant has been good. When we repotted it and checked its soil, we realized the problem. The plant was sick and had almost no root system. They must have cut back the sick roots and dead plant right before sending and hastily repotted it. I've been back and forth with customer service, and they are not much help. They provided a 50% refund... but at $75 this is still a disappointment. Nurseries generally stand by their products.
Update #2: After a series of back and forths with Planterina, I was able to get a full refund, which was very much appreciated.
First of all, the planterina website is very over priced. But because I really enjoy Amanda's videos and because they had an offer going on, I decided to make a purchase. It was basically a buy one get two promotion... The total for my entire purchase was roughly the same I'd be paying for those plants elsewhere minus the hassle so I said Why not? (ie. $20 per plant elsewhere or $60 for one with the two freebies@ Planterina). Anyway, I received my order after a long wait and I'm disappointed. The two plants that were considered the freebies were both a lot smaller than the advertised picture and on top of that, one of them was severely damaged. I contacted them and they said that because of the offer, they could not do anything for me. I find it interesting that the one I "paid" for was beautiful and larger than the advertised pic but the other two were less than optimal... coincidence? Idk, maybe I'm overthinking this and it was an honest shipping issue. All I know is that I probably won't be purchasing there again.
I ordered an XL and extra expensive string of hearts plant, after being soaked with water prior to shipping and being in the cold and dark box couple of days, this succulent lost all it leaves. Right after the arrival I sent multiple emails to Planterina and received only one response with suggestions to place this plant near light source, after my email with suggestion I don't want to recover this plant for this price. I received no response at all after I explained this, I am left wondering why this shop has such a good reviews. I posted my review on google yesterday, business already sent me a full refund without ever admitting anything, basically Google response was " we very sorry for your experience " and response on my personal email was " I overacted and plant could recover". This is hard to believe the shop owner is very known to plant community would think this plant will recover and customer paid for this trouble. I will include a pictures of the plant I had for 4 days only it started rapidly deteriorate next day I was unable to add to Google review since I already posted a review.
My order arrived yesterday (it was placed on 9/14), and after waiting 2 weeks to receive it, I was very excited to unbox my 4 new plants.
The first plant I opened was a Hoya that was the saddest, slimiest, most water logged plant I have ever seen. I immediately took photos of this poor little root rotted plant and sent a detailed message to the email listed on their website. Which claims to handle returns on a "on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of making our customers happy."
I just got an email back with the most pathetic customer service response I have received;
"Thank you for sending pictures. We are sorry to see this plant had a rough trip. We suggest placing it in a spot with lots of bright indirect light.
We are sorry, but we are unable to offer a replacement for plants that were a free offer that are damaged in shipping per the offer."
Thats it. No incentive to order from them again, no credit for next time, no partial refund. Nothing. I am absolutely blown away. For the record this plant was "free with a $50 purchase" the only reason I spent $50 on two VERY VERY small, price gouged calathea, was because the free Hoya was a nice incentive.
Take your hard earned plant money and spend it anywhere but here!
First time ordering from Planterina. Spent a good amount of money to only receive a plant that literally looks nothing like the pictures they posted online which is why I bought the plant in the first place. Half empty, not full or trailing like they show you on their website. Also, FULL OF FUNGAS GNATS! Save yourself the money and just wait it out for the plant you want to show up at your local nursery. I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM PAYING BIG $$$ IF I ACTUALLY RECIEVED A PLANT SIMILIAR TO THE ONES THEY POST ONLINE! Very deceiving! Also, they have raised their prices so much from just a year ago! It is unbelievable!
Aweful products with non existent customer service! Do NOT order from this site! Dead plants AND SHE WILL NOT RESPOND oh yes AND NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT HER after she takes you $$$ STAY AWAY!
Don't bother. High price. Slow non responsive service. Ships cuttings that aren't rooted and rotting. Why bother with the detailed packaging when you're sending out garbage to customers at some of the highest prices around. Callisia fell apart when coconut coir topper was removed from the top of the pot revealing a plant that was barely tucked in the soggy dirt and all stems rotten - 1 day after unboxing it's droopy and nearly dead. The Elaine (aloe shaped plant) has zero roots. After removing the coconut coir disk I noticed the plant was "bobbing" in the dirt and I had e it a slight tug and the whole plant easily slide from the dirt revealing a rotting end and zero roots. That's right out of the box folks! The string of turtles is limp and many leaves dropped from the plant at unboxing. This is a very delicate plant and based on the other two, I have low hopes for the survival of this plant. I also got a black cardinal philo. Not sure this plant (while actually live) is the plant described on the site. The string of hearts was not as full as the picture/plant description suggested but the plant at least appears to be alive.
I emailed and haven't received a response from the seller. I plane to charge back the purchase through my credit card company. I honestly hope this business crashes and burns - owners obviously do not care about customers. Price gouging and zero service. This nursery just wants to take your money and run. So I suggest you take your money and run!
If you want an online nursery that stands by their product - Plant Proper. Ive had some duds from them but they are hyper responsive and always refund when you're dissatisfied and have often added the bonus of discounts on future purchases. Also Plant Proper is reasonably priced.
So - Planterina is over priced (even with a 50% off sale) and they dont respond to customer inquiries in reasona me times. And they ship out small, subpar, rotting, dying plants. Thumbs down! Take YOUR money and run literally anywhere else to buy plants!
Tip for consumers:
Don’t. Buy anywhere but here!
