Don't waste your money or time. All the profiles are inactive or spam. There are no actual people on this site interested in dating. I am considering contacting a lawyer and initiating a class action law suite since POF is charging you to browse fake profiles & not providing an opportunity to interact with other members.

Charges for service, way too many prostitutes in the "looking to date but nothing serious" or "isn't seeking a relationship of any kind" area. Sucks because it makes me think ask the women in there are hookers

I HAVE paid, zoosk, mingle, Christian ( sex pool) Our Time which I filled out for another but they kept putting me with the over 50, and a few others. I paid and looked... Nobody in 10 miles, 25 50 75? Come on! Think about this. You finally find somebody somewhat compatible, then arrange schedules, pick a spot half way in between. Do either of you really know a good place to meet? A local place to eat? The parking lot at Wally World? NO! Neither one wants to drive all the way there and back. So in retrospect the dating sites are contributing to each failed long distance relationship just to make more money.

Pof was a very good site until recently they are now overrun with profiles
Promoting porn web sites with very raunchy pictures of old ladies and old men. Before just usual fake scammers from Ghana Albania etc. Pictures of 25-30 yr olds claiming to be 55-65 yr olds. It seems they want there users to report these profiles. Most of porn site profiles are disgusting looking old women, in very compromising positions. Not a turn on at all! Since Match.COM bought it has had a steady decline. Actually had my profile deleted "by accident" for reporting scammers.

Too much BS on the site now. If your 50 you get profiles of 30 yr olds online like that's gonna happen.

I was on and off POF for several years. I met and dated several fun people. No problem, ever. No shirtless pics, no profanity, ever. Good POF user as fat as I'm concerned.

Then I briefly corresponded with a woman who apparently had a chip on her shoulders. After several friendly messages, there came a lot of hostility about my not responding in a timely manner. Said she was going to clock me. My fatal retort? I quoted Douglas Adams Hitchhiker's Guide and wrote back, "So long and thanks for all the fish." That was it.

My account was deleted, though I was never officially informed of the fact. Forget about the other correspondences. There is no possible appeal, no recourse. Period. The end.

So, my advice to prospective users is to ask themselves if they want to enable this abusive wielding of power. My answer: No, never again.

At first thought great. Then dug below the surface after being ignored and quickly came to the conclusion that full of 30-40 year old women who either because they've let work rule their life or because they're useless in relationships find themselves on here. Not just looking for a date it has to be a date with Mr Perfect or Mr White Knight

They are ridiculously picky and ignore messages. They'll turn down someone really good because they're not amazing and perfect. Yet what have they got to offer? Most never been in longer relationship than a year what does that say about how great they are? Is it really that hard to say thanks for contacting me but no thanks. Are women that ignorant nowadays? Men on this site want you to be perfect (and i'm not too shabby) but they look like trolls, don't have ten words to say about themselves other than, Hello, how's your day. If you ask for any more, you won't get it. Instead, you get a phone number. But you know nothing about them except they're just average Joe's, no goals or ambitions, seemingly picking a fight, calling you names or misjudging you b/c you're attractive. It is the worst experience I have ever had. I'm now just taking notes, not looking for a guy who is honest, respectful or even nice. It's a very demeaning dating site. Guys are so overly-confident, they don't think they need to sell themselves or even talk about themselves. They're better than another senior-people dating site, because on that one, they all wanted to send inappropriate photos. (These do and will do so once you phone them). What's a decent, attractive, all-American girl to do--go to sluts school?

Many fake profiles using profile pictures they've stolen off real peoples LinkedIn, facebook, Twitter accounts but also the more obvious ones use American football players, actors, models etc... when you report them to pof nothing appears to happen as the accounts remain active.
Keep yourself safer by searching profile pictures on an image search engine like Google Image or tineye, it's better than relying on pof to weed out the fakes!

I knew this was going to be a bad site when the first profile it showed me was an average looking 44 year old female who's headline said "Please don't be offended if i don't reply" and then went on how you had you to be over 5'8 tall, she was only 5,5. Also must have wit, brilliant sense of humor, positive outlook on life, be well groomed take pride in your appearance and be confident not arrogant... Not wanting much. Went on about how intelligent she is.

Without wishing to be rude she was no stunner & no way could be picky so i immediately thought it this woman is getting overrun with messages then how many are the attractive ones getting? What is it, like 1000 men chasing after 1 woman ratio?

Deleted profile & logged off

Spoke to a woman who messaged me using text talk and who said my sport I liked was boring, absolutely no chat or concept of creating a decent first impression. After that I deleted the app

The standard is low, really really low. I think it's the bottom 10% of women all searching for only the top 10% of men. The women seem to lack intelligence, beauty and kindness. They do however posses plenty of baggage, weight and attitude

Oh and there's about 500 men chasing after every woman and half the profiles are blatantly fake. Good luck you'll need it fellas

I would sooner be single than go online dating again

It has turned into nothing more than a total scam site. Within my zip codes that I have a home there are no less than 18 and sometimes as high as 32 total foreign scams as well as locals offering their services. POF has the ability to block all of these before hand, but chooses not too. $$$$$ Involved?

POF seems to have been completely overrun by scammers and is totally unconcerned about it as long as they make a buck. I'm getting 30 and 40 likes per day and 1 or 2 of them might be real. Almost every single email I get comes from a woman who wants me to go to another pay site to chat.

POF is just ripping people off at this point and really should be shut down.

Do not use POF. They will delete your profile after you've paid for no reason. I contacted a lawyer to pursue a class action suit. This has happened to me over 2 years and many more people. If this is the case, please contact me. *******@gmail.com

Do not waste your money. Literally 70% of the female profiles are fake. They respond to you giving you their Snapchat, or other platform, and ask you for money. Absolutely garbage. I'd give negative stars if I could. Ripoff.

The women are rude and when you're rude back you get banned. I'm sick of reading saying "make me laugh" "Where's my Prince Charming?" or other stupid demands/requests

Don't worry there are that many fake profiles on here that soon pof will be rendered useless and no men will go near it
Then all the ludicrously picky bitter women with the tattoos and attitude problem will find themselves single in the real world not online fantasy and no man will go near them

Also it'll happen to all the deluded diva types who only reply if you are a 10 on the looks scale. When they're offline and no man wants them they'll realise how stupidly picky they were but will be too late by then.

Same applies to the women who have been on pof for years and years constantly turning down men because they're not perfect

I did nothing to break their terms.and conditions, I put on my profile, that I am anti vax.and anti mask. Explained why. I then got attacked by Liberal's.and called derogatory names. I reported them and I got kicked. Just another her social media controlled Nazi site. Also, there are very few attractive women, they are all fake profiles, prostitutes, fat, etc. Keep away from this trash site.

This company automatically renewed my membership after I had cancelled my subscription and refuse to refund the money in full. Don't ever give them any payment information, including paypal as they will continue to charge you even if you cancel

Paid for the membership. Everyone that I have actually communicated with has turned out to be a scammer. Everyone. There are some legitimate profiles, probably less than 10. Haven't met anyone in my area. Just people who end up being from Nigeria or Ghana. Complete waste of money from my experience. Not a legitimate option for a dating site.

The women I saw were all demanding rude aggressive and very very picky
This despite the fact the were either overweight unattractive or past their best.

The funniest one I saw was a 44 year old 5 foot tall female saying she only dates attractive men over 6 foot and if you didn't fit the bill she'd block you

They should be grateful if anyone messages them nevermind making demands. You don't need to be a genius to work out this won't end up well. They'll be on there for years with their unrealistic nonsense. Not one profile showed any kindness or happiness radiating from it all it was what they wanted not what they could offer

I have about 32 complaints about POF. The most recent is below and carry's over to 7 other problems regarding ease of use. They recently gave their site ANOTHER face lift to confuse users. I now wonder if I have been blocking free users from making first contact due to the use of double negatives in their questions. Note in the screen shot there are also two places to answer regarding whether you only want to allow upgraded users to be able to make first contact. Pure confusion!

This is only one of sooo many dumb things with this site. I'm still very leery that at least half of the members are fake or haven't logged in for years!

I will never pay for a site if it doesn't work or works poorly as a free member!

I have been on and off POF for several years. God help you if you are looking for a decent educated gentleman over 50 who is not wanting to dating 25 year old females. Most are married men, losers, drug addict, liars, and general low life slime balls. If you are lucky enough to meet a kind educated one, most likely you will find he is looking for a quick roll in the hay and off to the next victim. Many of the males on there have severely over-inflated egos and think they are god's gift to women, but they must have borrowed the wicked queens magic mirror as most were nothing to look at. After being on several different dating sites I realize on line dating attracts the bottom of barrel, social misfits, drug addict, alcoholics, jobless and homeless losers or married men seeking sex. Its fun once you figure this out, but a complete waste of time if you are seeking a true gentleman to date. 4 thumbs down as a dating site.

Horrible! The profiles seem fake for most girls, they never send anything to you or respond. All talking about finding a good guy or whatever but if you don't look like an athlete or model it's not worth it. It is so bad I can't even delete my profile, such a waste of time. Literally talked to 1 girl for like 4 messages and that was it. And it is not that free, lots of key features can't be used without paying. I would pay a city bus driver to run me over multiple times before I would join and pay for this site. Absolutely worthless!
