Just signed up with PoF and wish I hadn't bothered TBH, took ages to sift through all 100 questions which are totaly irrelevant and have nothing to do with whether or not any couple "hit it off".
A number of mandatory sign up questions are also irrelevant, such as, are your parents still alive, how many chuldren did they have, were you the eldest, how much do you earn. WHAT?
Furthermore, I cant see where one specifies a geographical radius area for prospective matches & they want one to "upgrade" to see whose interested in you
It's "fishy" alright.

I have been on POF for a long time, with very little luck, have been on dates that have led to short relationships. The women say they are looking for guys with no baggage, but they them selves have all kinds of baggage, old relationships or flames that they really cant get over with, as an older man looking for a lady my age very hard as they have been independent and set in their ways, that they are unable to relate to things that the man relates to. In short I think most are looking for MR RITE in a playboy sugar daddy, that can wisck them around the world and treat them like crap.

Full of dreadful people. Low quality humans everywhere you look. Full of 2s who act like they're 9s. Single mums everywhere you look. They have tonnes of baggage yet are on there wanting a man who is perfect. They have lots of tattoos and even more attitude. It's pathetic. Nasty unpleasant picky people. You have to be kidding me

Went on here for first time, I dont think they realy want you to meet some one, i sent polite messages to people and when i looked on their profile they had messaged me back ( a ticking their) profile but i had no message in my inbox, I also had a lot of people like me, then sent a message to to them,( no replies) I think these people purposely block the message, then they want you to buy tokens to boost your message to the top of their message list, its just a money making scam, wont ever use again!

The females want you to ignore the fact they are past their best and have numerous children, they want you to ignore the fact they aren't very nice people and can't string a sentence together and want only the top 5 % of men to contact them. You must be good looking, 6 foot tall and be rich to get a reply. Do they really think a top 5% man is going to be on here and why would he message them?

Why is it they all want to settle down and find a good man now they're all carrying extra weight, have children and are in their 40s? Why didn't they want a good man 20 years ago when they were attractive and had no children? Why didn't they want Mr right then,?

It's the only site where unattractive unpleasant females can be choosy.

Every guy is sick N tired of paying for emails and having some spoiled brat of an Ameriskank reading them but never replying.

For every 100 emails you send, you will probably only get 1-4 responses, none of which will lead to a date.

Online dating for men is a waste of time, just get a plane ticket and fly over seas to someplace like China or Thailand because you will just get old & sick in some Feminist country that has turned all the woman into selfish brats who think 99.999% of all men are unworthy while they screw they're youth away with all the bad boys & thugs

At least with POF you won't get screwed financially by a lopsided dating scene.

I am a man, so I do not agree with reviews saying the men's profiles are false, maybe if you try looking for an actual person you will find them, generally if the post boasts a pic of what you think is a gorgeous hunk of a man that probably is too good to be true, you are probably right. Really look at yourself in a mirror, you are not the same person you were in High school, so quit trying to act like you are. Also STOP and I mean STOP posting pics of your whole family, I am not trying to date your family and I have no idea who you are in a picture of seven freaking people, I mean seriously people use a brain. Any ways I hope this helps some people out.

There must be 500 men for every woman so they get totally overrun with messages from desperate guys.

The problem is that the women are all of an absolutely dreadful standard. The real undateables, But they get so many messages they think they are a catch and develop an attitude. They are all 2s yet with all the attention they start thinking they are 10s and want a 10 themselves. It really is pitiful tbh.

Virtually all of the profiles are full of negativity and demanding you make an effort to impress them MAKE ME LAUGH etc, this is despite the fact you could go out the house and see 100 women in the street and 99 would be better than what you see on POF. They act like they are doing you a favour if they deign to reply to you

I eventually found one who didn't have a bad attitude, didn't have a shopping list of demands and was somewhat attractive (and believe me that was tough going)

But It turns out she wasn't 35 like she said, she was actually 45 and doesn't have the degree she claimed, oh and her photos are 4 years out of date.

Someone who's profile demanded NO TIME WASTERS asked me what I was looking for. I jokingly said an end to poverty and a trip from Santa. She blocked me. Absolutely zero concept of humour. Talk about a bitter and twisted bunch

No wonder it's free. App now deleted

If you sign up be prepared to see 'CAN'T SEE LIKES MESSAGE ME' virtually all the time as an introductory headline

It never enters their tiny mind that everyone else says the same. It never enters their head to pay for the site. Surely if you're that determined to find the man of your dreams you'd be happy to pay a few quid.
Can't see likes is just really lazy and unoriginal.
My take is that It's full of immature time wasters who thrive on gossip drama and narcissism

Honestly this website is full of $#*!. I made an account and 2 hours later my account was somehow deleted. Supposedly my email doesn't exist yet when you look it up it's still there.

Now it charges to send more than 1 message a day, I would avoid. Full of scam and fake accounts, which when free wasn't too bad, but now don't waste your time or money.
