Not sure yet if it's worth spending money on. I've emailed several and have had only two real replies. Most of the women are looking for a mate instead of a casual encounter. I've been on it for a while and had two really big gals wanting to meet but their profiles don't match at all, says they want a single guy and a relationship while I'm only looking for casual sex. They don't have a real time chat either like AFF does which is free for all members to use. Pof let's you email for free but can't send pics. Can't post nudes either, only pics with your face in em, yuck! I've read a lot of reviews for different sites and it's hard to figure out which ones really work to hook up! I have tried several only to find they just want to drain your bank account! My wife and I are swingers and have been in the lifestyle a while so don't knock it till you've tried it, it's not for everyone! We love the lifestyle, very pleased with each other after 26 years and not afraid of someone running off with the other! Sex has been proven to keep us all healthy and that's really important to us older folks! So back to POF, after reading a few others here I think might give it a try, can't read full profiles and don't want to offend anyone sending out emails to hook up if they are not willing to! Don't mind spending a little money to have fun in the bed room but don't wanna get ripped off anymore either! I joined, sent 2 messages asking how they were and if they were having a good weekend, both blocked me? They werent stunners yet they blocked me. Im like WTF? Talk about stuck up. I aint bad looking and wasnt rude and I got blocked. Im not having that. 3 others ignored by after looking at my profile. Not even decency to reply.

Good luck trying to convince these princess wannabes on here you're good enough for a reply. Theyre all looking for their dream guy who must look like an Adonis all to make their dreams come true... life isn't a fairytale.

They ban people for no reason. It's a joke. Everyone lies. I don't even know why they kicked me out.

It's feee because it is shockingly bad.
Firstly, site moderation. There is none. You get it all in here. Photos of cats, dogs, cars and stuff for sale but not real pics of single people. Women tell me that most men just post a pic of their dangle. You'll get men dressed as women. All the clues are there in the picture. The big hands, the Adams Apple and in the backgriund a wedding pic of them with their wife. Then the most obvious clue is in their profile where it says "I'm a man who likes dressing up as a woman". You don't have to be Columbo to come to a conclusion however tPoF seems to struggle to compute that one.

Customer service. There is none. Well when I say none there might actually be one person though I think their job is to delete all the emails that come in from angry customers. The payment system works fine though. Funny that. If you need help you'd be better of writing to Justin Beiber to get a satisfactory result.

Matching. From what I can work out if anyone else is registered on the site then the programme sees them as a match for you. So if your Jane in a London looking for a man within 20 miles expect to find yourself matched to a used canoe that's for sale in Oaklahoma.

Apart from that the site's great. Actually, no it isn't. It's awful. It's a sewer. Imagine a prison with no wardens and that's PoF for you.

Since my mom kept me in the house until I busted out at 19 I dont really do good approaching women in public. Theres a good bit of disgusting stank fat type girls on there that turn down legitimate good guys then give di%^heads a chance when they know they have no chance with them type of people. Also I would imagine some guys say ANYTHING figuring these women are stupid and used up. From my perspective as a black guy that loves my girls extra chunky I can say most have a "wall" up of everybody just wants to screw them and leave. Its these very women that once u do get down there its like throwing a hotdog down a hallway! So then the guys not happy with his prize & leaves anyway. The same thing the girl didnt want. But yet these girls have no problem "getting used up" when THEY pick the guy they want to sleep with & the site admins are happy to go along with it. A normal guy working any type of job is set up to loose on here. Women lie about dating multiple guys, lie about being unemployed, etc & just go on multiple dates at mens expense. So there u have it. The actual cost of some of the dates are on par with the prices street hookers charge. Because the women arent happy with moderately priced food either.

And speaking of street hookers alot of the girls will turn down a nice guy then u msg them again after they forgot & they WILL have sex with the same guy they turned down before for money. While dating some other decent guy on the site.

The first profile I looked at was an unattractive overweight ginger bird with glasses. She put "I've very particular at which kind of men I'm attracted to" I'm like WTF? How can SHE be picky looking like THAT The rest of the site was just as bad. Women who are who legends in their deluded minds thinking they are a real hot property
All the profiles said things like
Don't message me if you can't hold a conversation
Don't message me if you're under 6foot tall
Don't message me if you're looking for one night stand
And on and on and on. Just a list of things you can't be if you want to message them. Nothing at all about what they can give to you. Are they having a freaking laugh?
As if they couldn't be worse most contain swearing too. Such as I'm giving up on this sh*tty site or Tired of twats in tinfoil. Where's my knight in armour.

I'll be blunt here. They're all pigs and dogs and how they have the bloody audacity to sit there like lady of the manor turning their noses up at men is incredible and shows how these sites are full of wack jobs and crazies

While not a paying member, I have been using this site for a couple of months and have met some nice guys.
There are some who write and immediately want my phone number/email address. I insist on staying on the site for initial communications. Some never write back after that. If they're that impatient, no great loss. Others do not read my profile (in spite of the fact that I attempt, patiently, to direct them to it), and insist on asking me questions that are answered on my profile, or they say they've read it and have ignored the important parts. Sometimes I just give up on those guys (I'm thinking, "What, you have a Master's/PhD?"). And then there are those who say something like, "Ask me anything", and they don't answer when you ask, even twice.
I've also seen two or three profiles (probably with phony pictures) that say exactly the same thing, word-for-word! They say they have "No pets", but write glowingly about their dog, Max!
There are lots of guys on there who are from other countries, and some don't say what they mean (or the opposite!). They are so difficult to understand or communicate with that I generally try to steer clear of them, without being rude.
I still have hopes of meeting some really nice guys I've been corresponding with/talking with on the phone, and others as well. Sometimes schedules just don't mesh! And even as a non-paying member, I found that I can write to those who
"fave" me, by clicking on the tabs and their pictures/screen names. Sometimes they even show a picture of someone who "wants to meet" me (click on the number of views at the top of the page), and if they're new, I can find them on "New Users" and click to see their profile.
