Got a few messages and then when I replied back it was like pulling teeth trying to have a proper conversation with them so only imagine what kind of social misfits they are in real life

Seems to be full of 30-40 yr old women who are very bitter and trying to get revenge on the fact they're still single and been hurt in the past. Lots of them are mid thirties and still don't know what they're looking for which is rather worrying if you're them.
When you get to they age you can't slam down a whole bunch of boxes a guy must tick. You take what you're given. You're not 23 anymore

One thing that does make me chuckle are the women with their boobs hanging out in photos and then complaining in their profile box they're sick of getting rude messages. Who would have thought by putting pics of yourself half naked as your main photo you'd get tons of guys messaging you rude things?
Just like the ones who put casual no commitment moaning guys only want sex. Change what you want then and don't get me started on the people in their 30s on their looking for friends. On a dating site?

Bottom line is bunch of average broads whose best days are behind them all thinking they're going to get some hunk so they just sit on there for years disappointed and becoming older and more spiteful they didn't get a guy in their younger years. The profiles are full of negative vibes and I don't see any women who seem to be happy and friendly

Was on the site 18 months ago and few weeks on here again didn't take long to see same faces. I read men outnumber women 8 to 1 on these sites so I find it very strange they can't find a man. Obviously setting the bar way too high

No doubt there are shady men are there but with every woman wanting a Sean OPry type you sense they're going to be on there for years to come. They'll be 45 and still not realised there are only so many male models inhabitanting POF;)

Conclusion
Great for women who treat it like an online catalogue for men
Bad for men if you're looking for a decent down to earth friendly woman.

POF is the same as any other dating site.
1. lots of fat women
2. Lots of tattooed women
3. Lots of deluded women who think Brad Pitt is just around the corner waiting to date them
4. Lots of dishonest women (one old hag even put up photos of her daughter!)
5. Hordes of frumpy boring single moms who truly believe they are the ultimate prize.
6. Mostly just lazy females who think you will bend over backward to be with them.

Treat all dating sites as a joke and nothing more. If you do end up with someone worthwhile, buy a lottery ticket, because you are one lucky sob.

If you're serious about a decent partner, contact women from developing countries, you'll be glad you did, they are 10 times better in every respect than the trash on offer in your country. Try SE Asia, Africa, there are so many stunning women form these places and they will date much older men becuase the seem to understand what men want, which is in contrast to all the rampant cougarism which is rife amongst women of all ages who they they are able to commend much younger men (no ownder they are online for decades).

SE Asia Its where I found my wife, she is better than any western woman I have ever dated. The narcissistic deluded self-entitled gold-digging women on all dating sites did me a huge favour. By making me look elsewhere and finding a gem.

There are of course decent women to be found in Western countries, but they are such a small percentage. Most women these days are so narcissistic, self centred, and full of themselves they will only spell trouble for any man that ends up with them. Forget about loyalty, especially if you have any assets, they will only too gladly divorce you and drain you for everything they can get. Dont do it to yourself. Western women will ruin your life, the have no other loyalty but to themselves.

If I had a £1 for every woman on this site who is 5foot tall but says only 6ft+ men only to contact them I'd be rich. As if in real life someone the size of a munchkin could be so picky. As if they were out in bar they'd rebuke a guy cos they're not tall enough when chatting to them. Yet they get on POF and become uber picky with ridiculous demands you must meet before you can even send them a message. Then they have to have a list of dislikes. The usual generic rubbish, bad manners, ignorance arrogance etc but wait you ignored my message? Oh the irony. Have to laugh when I see 'liars and cheats don't message' that's basically asking to be played

The women dont realise the profile is the first impression men get and most of them are very aggressive. What happened to being sweet and happy instead of constantly complaining on your profile?

I always remember what I was told years ago. If a women is single by 30 then there's something wrong with her otherwise she would be snapped up by now and be settled down. If you look on pof that's true, just full of mid 30 year old women all bitter and full of anger and that's just the ones without children. Can only imagine how picky that lot must be

If this is what women have become today then I'll stay single. Before the Internet if you were 2/10 you dated someone in your level. Now with the Internet these 2/10 think they somehow deserve a 9/10 guy and won't settle for anything less. Just ridiculously deluded and immature.

I can only think there must be way too many men who will go with anything otherwise they'd have to amend their ultra picky deluded profiles and face reality.

I long for pre-Internet days when you could chat a woman up in a bar or give her your number in a shop. Now everyone is on Internet dating and it's saturated and a waste of time

I feel bad giving 1 star. That's way too much for the toxic females on here.

Get some humility

I was last on this site in 2011 and although wasn't great then it wasn't that bad and the women seemed ok and replied. Fast forward to 2018 and wow it's truly horrible. The whole universe seems to be on here and the women seem determined to punch above their weight.
I signed up and didn't take me long to see a photo from the past. A woman in a black bikini next to a swimming pool I remembered. So unless she's Peter Pan she's using the same photo from 6 years ago. Some guy is going to be in for a shock if they meet. I guess it must be all an ego trip.

Saw a few other faces from the past just with different hair etc and couldn't help but think if you are on a dating site for 6 years surely you'd think I'm being too picky or it's not working. How is it possible to be on pof that long and not find a decent man? Yes sure there are sleazy men but must be some good ones.

From what I remember at least back in 2011 the woman were somewhat polite. This 2018 mob are just rude picky and crazy. Page after page of profiles all the same. All like holidays and socialising. Alot of them don't have photos, have photos kissing their pets or photos I'd class as inappropriate for a open source 'dating' site. I'm not a prude but half your body naked for all to see?

I think most on here for attention and no intention of dating or they're looking for a man that doesn't exist. There's a lot of low quality women on here with high demands Which really doesn't make sense as I said before quite a lot seem to want to punch above their weight. They all want a 10/10 but if they were out a night they would do well to get a 4/10 guy. The internet sends them all crazy I think
And if there's one thing that is going to make me ignore a profile it's READ PROFILE BEFORE MESSAGING

Definitely gone downhill in last 6 years and judging from the toxic woman on here I've not missed a great deal. Used to be dating now looks like a hook up place for unpleasant pouting brats. I'll leave it another 6 years before I bother again

Was on here about 18months ago and was bad, thought I would give it a try again. Huge mistake its even worse now!
Loads of same familiar faces from 18 months ago still asking where are all the good men? With the same photos they had in 2017, how can you not find a decent man in 18 months unless you are uber picky?

I saw one profile and a 36 year old woman put that her dog will always come first in the relationship, I thought she was joking so messaged and asked and she replied she was deadly serious. This is the type of person you are dealing with, who puts a dog before a man?

Another profile had a list of about 10 things you must adhere to in order to message her, not to meet and have dates, just to message! Must have brown hair, blue eyes and be over 185 cm tall etc, Its just silly, you look at them and they are 160cm and no oil painting

Not meaning to be rude but most of the women on here have issues, they either socially awkward and find it difficult to send more than one word replies or they are all extremely picky and all holding out for some super hero Channing tatum guy to come along and rescue them. Totally unrealistic. Then there are the men haters, loads of them seem to be women scorned and just nasty unpleasant for the sake of it. There is no way they would dare say in real world what they say online, or maybe they do and thats why theyre single

I notice as well the women love to put photos that are not of them, but of landscapes, their pets and silly memes with sayings on, or cakes they have baked

Finally the scam fake profiles are ridiculous, its like the person owning the website has given up and just lets fakes post without doing anything.

The women on pof are 99.9% very average looking or even worse. That wouldn't bother me if they had a nice personality, a gsoh and were friendly but they're not. They're bitter, nasty, rude and big headed. Plain types on a dating site thinking they are some great catch.

They expect a guy to jump thru 50 hoops and have a checklist of a dozen things you have to tick before you can even message them. No wonder they're single. I swear they're trying to do their best to deter anyone from messaging them. Don't they realise you're meant to be pleasant in your profile? Not complain, throw shade and generally come across as picky nasty and unstable? If they like this now imagine how bad if you met them? I've seen friendlier guard dogs

Everyone has flaws but the severely flawed women on there want a guy that has no flaws. It's utterly ridiculous behaviour

If you saw a girl in the real world and she said sorry you're only 5 foot 10 & I only date guys 6 foot and over despite the fact I'm 5'1 and chubby. You'd laugh at her and walk away

But that's how these women are on pof. I don't know how they dare act like they do. I guess it's cos they are in an online bubble and not outside with real people. What kind of men message these women?

Average looking deluded and unpleasant is not a good trifecta

Don't feed their egos by messaging them. The bottom line is there are definitely much better looking and more friendly happy women in the real world in the local bar or even in the supermarket. Anywhere is better than online

This is one site that is good at faking you out, I subscribed to this site on my computer and I downloaded it on my PHONE (NOT COMPUTER) I received more likes than I can handle, historically I have been told I am very handsome and i am a ex footballer financially well off but I've never been rejected by so many women in my life as I have been on this site but I found out why... when I tried to go to my computer (NOT MY PHONE) to type in the name of the likes 100% of the time it turned out to be a fake profile. These "likes" are meant to get you to subscribe meaning to pay money monthly yearly excetera excetera. This one of many websites faking you out and using profiles of attractive women to get you to subscribe but when you subscribe all of a sudden the likes disappear and so does your money it's a shame but that's the American way, greed and lack of character in business dealings. The creators of this site should read the part in the Bible about the Lake of Fire for liars and deceivers.

I've been a member of POF since December 27 of last yr. My friend Brooke told me abt it and she and I both have our share of both good and bad luck. I only joined POF bc I was tired of being single. I'd been single almost five mnths and my very first nite on POF, I met a super sweet guy named Jeremy and we still txt each other everyday, exactly five mnths later as of yesterday. But I was still curious abt other guys and kept my options open. Ive messaged several people the last five mnths and have only had luck staying in touch 2 abbsolutly amazing guys. The rest I talked to once or nt at all and never heard from them again. Im 23 and I make it clear tht I only want to talk to guys tht r between my age and 30.
I've learned over the past mnth tht older guys in their late 20s r most DEFINATELY more mature than some kid just out of high school. Every single guy, no matter how old they r, r sincerely looking for their soul mate. Yes, at first, they may at first seem like horn dogs and male shovenist pigs, but if u really take the time to get to know somebody, then u realize tht their heart is in the right place trying to look for someone tht they want to marry some day. Just give POF a shot.

I unfortunately have been on POF too long. So maybe with my recent issue may be a blessing in disguise? Way back when...the site was so much better than what it has become in recent years. I have learned who has a fake profile and have called them out on it. There has been so much of that in recent years. My profile was usually hidden ( where I could pick & choose), on rare occasions I would unhide briefly to see what happened. I used POF as entertainment at times, reading profiles LOL.

I am putting this comment on, because at one point...I had a picture posted of a campfire( deleted to add a different pic...due to the limit), and at a later time tried to add it back ( mind you...numerous times...different dates), only to get warning notifications that I was not complying with their rules and posting an inappropriate picture. LOL That was months ago. And this past week, I was asked to verify my account by taking a picture( having to give POF permission to use my camera). Well...I tried it numerous times ( using my phone & chromebook). I would get the message pop up saying...Success, and a moment later saying there was an error. I gave up. A couple days later ( today), I tried signing in...and now my profile has been removed. WTF? So to anyone that is reading these comments...especially men...I would say...don't bother trying. I heard they now charge men to sign up...never used to be that way. Way back it was FREE to anyone...only would pay...if you really needed to know if someone you messaged read it.which I thought was pretty dumb if you paid for that LOL. If they did and didn't reply...move on. You used to be able to see who "liked you" too...for FREE, and when they were last online. The changes over the years have only benefitted someone's pocket...but the service sucks now. Time to move on...

THE GUYS on POF are the biggest LOSERS on the planet. They are either looking for a woman that will wipe their a**e* or want a puppet on a string to be available 24/7 for when ever they are not going out with their jock jerk friends. POF DOES NOT have the number of men and woman it claims as there are many fake profiles and MANY MORE DUPLICATES. I have watch ultra match. It starts with 70 prospective mates and after deleting the majority of dog, cat or smokers I may luck out with 2 out of 10. Of the 2 1 is definitely good looking but has no interest in anything but hitting the sheets and are masaganist at heart, the other 1 out of two are lushes and half the time would probably use a sheep or what ever else they can get their penises into. LOSERS! For the few real guys that are legit, woman are so worn out they have probably given up on finding some one real and would make good marriage or even dating material. I think that both sexes with any real potential have probably burned out and have given up. TRULY A WASTE OF YOUR TIME.
