What a sad indictment of women in 2019 online dating is
All screaming they want prince charming and won't accept anything less.

Totally ignoring the fact when you're as average as majority of the women on pof are you cannot demand there has to be a spark or you'll ignore the man
Totally ignoring they are well past their sell by date
Totally ignoring they have nothing to offer a man
Totally ignoring they have no right making such demands on height looks etc
Totally ignoring the fact if they were such a catch they would have been married years ago
Totally ignoring that proudly boasting they're independent and don't need a man isn't the best way to get one and might be why they have 3cats
Totally ignoring the fact photos kissing your dogs isn't a good look on your photos
Totally ignoring the fact they have such a poor attitude is why they are single
Totally ignoring the fact that being 300kg isn't a just few extra pounds
Totally ignoring the fact being covered in tattoos isn't a good look
And finally totally ignoring the fact women who are 3 out of 10( on a good day with make up) shouldn't expect a prince charming to come and save them. If he's not arrived by now he's not coming. Enjoy your lonely life with your pets

I am a guy who spent his life passing tough exams as well as qualifying as a professional. Sadly, most of the women on plentyoffish in my age group have either already been married, separated, or divorced or they have become single mothers. Such women may be in the same age group as me but age alone is just one factor. Every time plentyoffish sent me a list of my so-called matches, not one of those lists contained any woman that had never been married or that did not have kids. Therefore, I always chose to ignore my so-called matches and search for the types of woman I want to meet and date. Almost on a daily basis, plentyoffish would send me one or more messages telling me that some females had paid a premium to be contacted first, they would be showing up in my matches, and I should send them messages first. But, once again, sadly, the women in my matches were not the type I wanted to meet.

Eventually, a beautiful woman who had no kids, who had never been married contacted me from the US. I live in Europe. On the next day, when I was going to respond to a message she had sent to me, I discovered that my profile had been deleted. I did try to recreate it but the website would not allow it to happwn. I subsequently looked on the website to ascertain what might have happened and it stated that a profile may be deleted: when the person had posted fake pictures on his profile; I had no picture on mine. When it is discovered the person is in fact married; I am single. When a person had been rude to other users; I have never been rude to anyone on either plentyoffish or any other website. It stated a number of other grounds as well, none that applied to me. Initially, I thought about rejoining it to obtain the details of the woman I had met on it. However I detest the people who manage the website to such an extent that I will never rejoin it by using another email address or in any other way. Good riddance is what I say to those working at plentyoffish.com

I am a 54 year old female. I've been on and off this site for a few years. Here is a list of what is on this site 1. Men that do not have current pics up. 2. Older than what they posted. 3. Shorter than what they posted. 4.Men who can not structure a sentence. I think they should repeat second grade up. 5. Lots of bad or missing teeth. 6. Men who STILL live at home with their parents. The standard reason for this is that they are taking care of them. Yea! More like they are broke and lazy and parents enable this. 7. Men who do not have a license and or car. 8. Men who do not have a job. 9. Men who constantly talk about themselves and or their ex. 10. Men who whip out their phone and take calls, texts and or start to bore me with pictures of their kids, grand kids and other boring images that I am so not interested in. For crying out loud this is our first meet. 11. Of course the men who just want to have a ping pong e mail relationship and have no intention of ever meeting. And 12. Men who just want SEX. Please go to a sex site or get a pro! I know other sites have the same quality of men too but why pay to be lied to. That's the conclusion with ALL sites. It is so easy to lie. Just keep your radar up and don't take this stuff seriously. Ladies, just a heads up. If you meet a guy who acts like he is your boyfriend too soon, or is sooooo into you right away, beware, he is a player. There are lots of these guys out there. The dating sites are a breeding ground for sociopaths/players and what I mentioned above. Guys, I'm sure you run into unstable women too. If so, please post your own review. Thank You. Update. I have deleted my POF account about 1 month ago. Enough of this nonsense. It isn't getting any better with the caliber of men. I know that a lot of them are on paid sites too. So, I'll just see if I can meet someone IRL.

I wouldn't bother evening filling out a profile

All the messages I got couldn't even make an effort with their opening message and then I had to do all the talking as they couldn't or wouldn't keep the conversation going. The ones who said don't just message Hey were the very ones who sent me a message just saying Hi

Most of the females on there you are not blessed with even average looks and one would think they might make it up for it by having a good sense of humour or being nice or having a good personality but no chance. All I saw was negativity and complaints on the profile. Don't message if you lie or cheat said one (as if men reading that would think okay best not message then) and all the others just had negative vibes. They didn't seem to care about what the men might think and obviously never heard of creating a good first impression--We all have baggage but is it really a good idea putting it on your bio for all to see how bitter you are? My children and cats and dogs and friends will always come first was what I saw a lot

Don't get me started on the silly lists, don't message if you like more than 10 miles away, don't message if you are under 6 foot, don't message if you have brown hair etc etc etc. In reality they should be grateful to get any men message them and shows how out of touch they are putting barriers up

You get what you pay for (FREE) although I doubt the women are any better on paid for sites but this POF really is full of the very low class, a terribly low standard of females. You wouldn't take any of these to meet your mum that's for sure. They would spend all their time cussing or showing your mum their tattoos

I am a big fan of the show Catfish and thanks to it I don't go to this dating website. The show shows a lot of problems that POF has.

This site should be called Plenty of Fakes and they don't take actions when I report the fake profiles/scammers

The app functionality is awful and the customer service (oxymoron) non-existent. I do not recommend this dating app.

I was on the site for maybe 2 hours before I was deleted... had no idea why. Started looking up why an account would be deleted and found a lot on "0 tolerance" but I wasn't doing anything wrong. I was just looking to date (not really ready for a relationship) as I got out of a 7 year relationship (married for 5 years) and have been separated now for a year, I was nice in my responses to people, didn't post any nude pictures... I was about to upgrade and they just deleted my account. I got a lot of hits and they all seemed like decent enough guys (except for one who was mean right off the bat), I was interested in talking to some of them a little more possibly. It just seemed like to me I didn't fit "POF'S DATING CRITERIA" for whatever reason and they deleted me. So if you want to date the people who run POF then this is great site because they are obviously VERY close minded as who is allowed on their site. Needless to say, I've been a member of Match.com for about 2 months now and have met 3 people from that site... ended up enjoying a date or two with each one but they just weren't for me. POF was an alternative and they seemed to have more interaction on their site... but because I was deleted for a reason unbeknownst to me I cannot recommend them or write them a good review. ADVICE for customer service for POF... possibly give someone a warning message as to why you would be deleting their account before you just delete it, maybe suspend it first. I put a lot of time and effort into creating my account to find someone who would fit ME.

POSITIVE: POF has great tests you can take that let you know a little about yourself dating wise as well as give you some advice on things you can improve on. They also give you some great question openers to ask when having a conversation with someone. I really enjoyed that aspect of it.

I'm 18 saying and it's pretty gross how the guys act even if ur friendly, the amount of men who desperately wanted me to be 13/14 so they could use me like a s*x doll cus that's how they acted and I blocked them!
