Complaint regarding one of your Employee Behavior which happened on Friday, September 12th around 9 PM, I visited my local Popeyes in Kennewick drive-thru. All i wanted to pick up some dinner; however, it turned into an unbelievably disappointing experience. There were about two cars ahead of me, yet I waited over 20 minutes before reaching the drive-thru window. The two cars in front of me appeared to leave without food, which was already concerning. At the window, I was curious about the wait time and inquired about it. The cashier replied in an aggressive manner. He told me he was the only one handling the kitchen and everything else, but when I politely clarified that I just wanted to understand the delay, he accused me of having a rude tone, refused me service, and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. I pulled forward and when a woman came I asked her to speak with their manager. The woman returned with the same cashier who stated he was the manager. I asked for his name which he flat-out refused to provide and continued to threaten me. He even accused me of "making drama to get a free sandwich," which was offensive and completely uncalled for. As a long-term customer that has had nothing but positive experiences with other Popeye locations, this was incredibly disappointing to me spoken to in such a degrading manner especially after waiting for half an hour. I stepped aside to wait in front of the lobby and tried to contact the corporate since the manager refused to identify himself. Another 20 minutes go by and the police arrive. I explained the situation only to be told that the manager did not want me on the property and that they would be trespassing me. All for asking a simple and curious question about the delay and trying to hold the cashier accountable for his misconduct, I was treated as if I were the problem. The officers provided me with a case number: 25-*******. Also I will be attaching in the Attachment, the Kennewick Police Department Criminal Warning Citation for the Record. This was incredibly unprofessional and I have never encountered a manager who not only refused service but escalated a paying customer's concern into a police matter. I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled when it could've been avoided with a simple answer to an innocent question. It's clear that the way I was treated does not at all reflect the standard of customer service that most restaurants uphold. So, I sincerely hope that the corporation takes this complaint seriously and provides proper training to their staff so that no other customer has to undergo the same humiliating experience I went through.
THE REASON I AM POSTING REVIEW HERE BECAUSE I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING CONTACTING CORPORATE OFFICE, RESTURANT LOCATION WHERE THIS INCIDENT HAPPEN AND RESTURANT MANAGER BY EMAIL BUT NO BODY NEVER RESPONDED TO MY CONCERN.
Order the chicken tenders was disappointed the breading was hard not crunchy hard enough to scrape the taste buds off the tongue.
Picked up a family size combo of 8 piece chicken tenders yesterday to go. When I got home I discovered all pieces but one were mostly fried batter with a little chicken and very hard to eat. Used to really like Popeyes for many years but never going back now seeing what they send you home with. Really all 8 pieces of whatever that was cost me 29 $. Such a rip off.
We went to Popeyes in Columbus Ms. A little after 9pm August 30,2025. This was our very first time going to this location. My kids and I have never had Popeyes, my husband has but not this location. We went inside, the door was unlocked, they then informed us their lobby is closed but their drive thru is open until 11pm. So we got back in our vehicle and went through the drive thru. They hardly had any chicken at all. My husband wanted a spicy chicken sandwich and they were completely out of any spicy chicken. He was going to get chicken tenders and said they didn't have anymore after the 5 piece one of our daughters got... she also wanted Cole slaw as her side but, yet again, they was out of Cole slaw.
Then the lady said they have ghost pepper BONELESS chicken wings so he ended up ordering those. One of our daughters wanted popcorn shrimp, well they were out of those so she got butterfly shrimp. After telling us they was out of this that and the other, we finally got something ordered at least.
We get to the window to pay and their card reader will not read my card, she asked if my card is locked, I said no you can't lock those and we just used it earlier to buy parts for our vehicle. So she try tried my husband's card and it wouldn't read either and I told her we literally just used his card to put gas in our vehicle before we came over here to get food. She wouldn't admit it was their card reader, but obviously it was considering we had just used both cards. She finally entered his card manually and it worked. Then she asked us to pull up and sit to the side and they would bring our food out. We sat there I know a good 30 minutes to start with. Then the lady that ran drive thru hollered out the drive thru window, hey you, hey, hey can you hear me... She wouldn't walk out there to our vehicle, she was just hollering out the window. My husband got out the vehicle and walked up there to see what she was trying to say. She said oh we don't have the ghost pepper BONELESS chicken wings either. So he just got plain not seasoned chicken wings instead because that's what they had, but they were not all BONELESS! Some had bones and my husband does not eat bone chicken! We sat there in total 40-50 minutes before they brought our food out! After we got our food, my husband discovered his chicken had bones, one of our daughters chicken had spicy chicken mixed in with what she ordered which was regular not spicy chicken fingers. Both our daughters mashed potatoes was real lumpy and cold. The fries they gave us for the waiting time was cold. My husband's chicken wings were cold and not even seasoned. All 3 of the Dr peppers we ordered just tasted like carbonated water, had no soda flavor at all. We will never go back to Popeyes in Columbus Ms, ever! That was totally uncalled for, all of it! They still had 2 hours left before closing and out of almost all chicken, food cold, wait time ridiculous considering there was only 2 other cars there, one which had been waiting on their food too!
That being mine and our daughters' first time ever going to a Popeyes could have just ruined us ever going back to Popeyes at all. One thing for sure is Popeyes needs to get their people under control in Columbus Ms! That whole experience was poor and not good at all! Fix it Popeyes! That food costs $40! We should be refunded! They did not even give us a receipt! I thought they stuck it in the bag but apparently they did not. Please fix your Columbus Ms location, it's way out of hand. Get some competent people who have manners as well working in there. We are seeing way too many bad reviews after our horrible experience, which we should have checked reviews before going, we were just hungry. Sincerely,

The 50 cents I just paid for water is the last time Popeyes will ever get my money! Chicken cold, fries soggy, forgot part of our order. But at least you got my 50 cents for a water

This is the second time I've gone this year because I decided to give them another chance. I went through drive thru. Only 2 cars in line and just a few in the parking lot. I ordered 2 piece leg/thigh combo with mashed potatoes, that I waited 30 minutes for. I received a wing/breast combo with FF. I never do food reviews, but because I'm never going back I don't have to worry about them spitting in my food. The food absolutely sucked! This is the Elizabeth City NC franchise.
This restaurant just needs to close. Employees are the worst examples of humanity. Rude to each other and customers. Saw a special on the board and tried to order. Stood at register for 20 minutes while Manager? Had he back to the front yelling and cussing out employees in the back. Then she said "What do you want?" to me. I stated" I would like to order" she repeated "what do you want" I said the wing special. She said "you gotta order online." nowhere in any of the signage or menu board did it say only online. I left. They are always horrible. If Chick fil A is God's chicken, Popeyes is Satan's. I think Satan would be offended by that.

I placed an.order through the popeyes app. The app I guess was having problems but it took my payment. I did not receive my order or a refund. My email seems to have fallen on deaf ears because they could not locate the order. (I ordered as a guest) no resolution. I guess I gifted the restaurant 22.75.
Straight out the hood in Warren, Popeyes. Employess standing around talking, not waiting on the customers in lobby, and when I finally had enough of waiting I spoke up, The young $#*! behind the counter says to me, well why didnt you say somethings instead of standing there waiitng. I wanted to slap the $#*! out of him. The employees and the food is awful, do NOT go to this location on Hoover and 11 mile service drive... they dont CARE
Since they didn't have nuggets, I went with boneless wings which was a #6, I think. They asked me if I wanted plain and I said no I want BBQ. So, when I get my wings, they are plain with a ranch dipping sauce, no biscuit, and 3/4 cup of ice mixed with about 3 oz of Coke all for $12. WTF? I know it's a sucky job but don't apply there if you are not competent enough to follow simple instructions. Could it be deliberate?
What the heck happened to Popeye's?! I don't eat fast food fried chicken often as I prefer to eat healthier options or go to a locally owned restaurant for fried chicken. Went to Popeye's last week for lunch for the first time in two years. Ordered through the drive through and must admit the cashier was very friendly and engaging; 5/5 for her service. However, the meal was barely edible! Red beans and rice still good, albeit very small portion for what you pay. Miss the cajun rice. Ordered three piece combo - the chicken was awful - despite ordering "spicy," no kick to the flavors and fairly bland. The chicken was some scary___! Only ate one piece of the three because I was seriously questioning the quality. Was veiny, had gross looking pieces that I have never seen on a chicken, and just poor quality. Started questioning what the heck I was eating so quit! Gross. Bye bye, Popeye's!
Popeyes needs to throw that entire pickle menu away. The pickle glazed chicken and pickle lemonade is DISGUSTING. I don't know what type of pickle juice they used but whatever it was, please get rid of it quick.
If you use the website or app to order if there is any problems with your order you are absolutely screwed because they have no customer service just an AI called Jessica and will refuse to refund you once the charge you card there is no way you are getting a refund for any reason you are better off paying in store so if there is issue you can get you money back instead of getting robbed for you hard earned money.
No wonder popeyes closed in byron then reopened to the same sorry service and I don't care attitude. We go there to try to support them reopening and what happens they slap you in the face with I don't care about you, don't care to serve you. Everyone that was working just walked around eating chicken being loud look you straight in the face and walk away and refuse to take your order. We walked out and 3 other people walked out with us cause they wouldn't take their order either. So keep it up yall will close again but then again guess they don't care and being owning it and running it don't care either. Just plain sorriness. I will never ever go back
Popeyes in Natchitoches, La, everything inside coated with grease & dirt. We ordered on the app, arrived 15 minutes later then waited 40 minutes for their advertised dinner for two. No way to cancel & get refund.

I purchased the $12 value meal yesterday and I had a extreme case of diarhea and vomiting all night which continue to part of today. I had to go to urgent care because it was so bad. This is the second time I experienced this for the from Popeyes 1636 Grand Ave in Baldwin *******. This is the last time I will eat from there.
Answer: I do not know that answer... except that they have to be aware of how horrible their food is. Not to worry, This will be the first and last time I eat anything from Popeye's in this lifetime!
