Ordered flowers on Thursday for Friday delivery. Now Monday afternoon and no flowers and nobody answers 'phone at Prestige Flowers.
I would give zero stars if I could. Worst company and experience ever.
- I ordered a bouquet of roses and lilies for £25.49 with £5.99 shipping. So a total of over £30. And this was supposed to be a medium bouquet with a discount applied to it, marketed as a good deal to get it for £25.49
- It arrived a day late. The day after the day I selected. Therefore missed my Mum's birthday
- When it arrived it looked like a £5 bouquet from Tescos. Small, tiny lilies, tiny roses and sparse greenery. It was a joke
- I emailed to complain that it arrived a day late and got replies from what seemed to be automated bots
- I arranged the crappy flowers in a vase and assumed they might look better when the lilies opened. However, THEY DID NOT OPEN. They were such bad quality that the buds stayed closed and then died
- I emailed customer service to complain and they said they'd give me £10 off my next order. Not good enough, why would I want to give them any of my money again? So I responded back and forth with someone who didn't appreciate or seem to understand the fact that the flowers literally died unopened. They then offered me £5 off my next order. LESS than the original offer?!?!?! I said no and that I expect a full refund. They then said that because I didn't email to complain within 3 days, which is their policy, I wasn't due any compensation. I did email within 3 days, to complain they were late. I didn't email within 3 days to say that the buds didn't open because HOW WOULD I HAVE KNOWN THEY WOULDN'T OPEN?!?!?!? The lack of care or customer service is WILD
On their website it says '100% customer satisfaction'. I can assure you its NOT. Overpriced con, poor delivery, bad quality flowers and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Over £30 for dead flowers delivered late. I wish I could upload an image for you to see. Don't order from here.
My sister received a very tatty looking bunch of flowers today, 16th Feb. The majority of the blooms looked dead. They were for her 50th birthday which was on 11th Feb. Delivery was attempted on the day by Royal Mail. I paid £6 to Haute/Prestige for guaranteed delivery before 1pm on her special day. Although my sister was at home at the time of delivery she failed to hear them. They were returned to the sorting office. According to Haute/Prestige failure to take delivery was my sister's fault. It was "at my recipients discretion" not to accept delivery according to one of the very unhelpful "customer care" staff. I've never been in the habit of telling someone they were having a surprise delivered as it rather spoils the surprise.A further problem arose because I had noticed on my confirmation email that my name was down as the recipient for the flowers. I let the company know immediately and asked them to change it. Three days later I received a message saying it was too late to change it.My name being down as recipient meant the flowers could not be collected in person by my sister or her partner. My sister has had a tough few years, an accident on holiday left her incapacitated for 12 months then, tragically, her 29 year old daughter passed away suddenly. These things are obviously no fault of the Florist. But they do mean I want only the best for my sister, as that is what she deserves. We couldn't celebrate with her on the day.I thought I could rely on Haute/Prestige's professional service to make up for this.I have used the company at least 6 times over the past couple of years and have even recommended them to others.I just feel frustrated, and disappointed.Veronica Hesketh
I pre-ordered flowers six days in advance of my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary as was unable to be with my folks on their special day until a few days afterwards. I really, really, really wanted to treat them to a beautiful bouquet as both have been extremely ill. When the flowers (gift set) had not arrived by 3pm that day, I tracked the delivery on Prestige Flower's website, which stated they had been 'dispatched'. I contacted Prestige Flowers to check if they were on the way and received this:
"I can see that we have the delivery date down as 07-06-2018. Due to the sheer volume of deliveries it appears as though the Royal Mail are having a delay in updating the tracking. I can assure you that this order has been dispatched and our delivery times are between 8am and 6pm. Normal delivery terms apply."
The flowers DID NOT arrive until later the next day. Prestige Flowers blamed Royal Mail for the delay, although Royal Mail confirmed that the flowers were not given to them until the day that they arrived (a day late) - which was further proved by their tracking system.
I request a refund from Prestige Flowers because I had provided them with a six-day lead and had been told by one of their customer care team that they would arrive between 6am and 8pm on the date I had requested. Their response was no, but I could avail of a 10% discount on future purchases.
Why on earth would I use the services of a company that failed to provide in the first place?! The customer care responses are simply copied & pasted from the terms & conditions on their website. There is no number to contact. They will not call you (even after multiple requests).
Overall, an extremely frustrating and disappointing transaction that left me out of pocket (significantly). All I wanted was for my parent's to have a beautiful bouquet to show I was thinking of them. Instead, they received nothing and I was forced to pay for a terrible service with no option to discuss.
I JUST placed my order and apparently I can't get a refund even though my order is getting shipped in a few days. It is not worth it. DO NOT USE.!
"An absolutely APPALLING company! Their guarantee for a specific delivery date is a SCAM!
Beware this company does NOT send flowers on the day you specify.
Below is an email I sent to them. As a result they have offer me a refund of £5.99….
I will NEVER use this company again. I will make sure I will use a local florist. They always deliver on time.
This company's 100% satisfaction guarantee is a SCAM. They hide behind the courier, in this case the Royal Mail.
If I could give them minus 1 out of 5 I would.
Please be wary of Prestige Flowers unless you want total DISAPPOINTMENT!
My email below-
Thank you for your reply.
I do not believe that the non arrival of the flowers is as disappointing for you as it is for me, and think this is a rather ridiculous thing to say.
You haven't suffered the embarrassment of not being able to present your partner with a gift on their Birthday.
Offering me a £10 voucher on my next order is, to be quite honest, an insult.
I contracted you to deliver flowers on a certain day, and you have not fulfilled the contract. Whilst, I appreciate that you will blame "third parties" for this, it does not alter the fact that I engaged into the contract with Prestige Flowers and that they have failed.
Therefore, I am giving you the option of rectifying this matter by refunding my money.
If you do not, I will never use Prestige Flowers again.
I will also ensure that none of my friends and family do either.
I will also be writing a negative response on all review websites featuring your company. This is something that I do not wish to do, but if you cannot reimburse me for your company's failure, I believe I have no option.
It has come to my attention that there are many negative responses on all of the review platforms that I have checked in the past couple of hours.
The Daily Mail has a regular section each Wednesday where they publish letters appertaining to poor customer service, so I will have no option but to air my grievances with Prestige Flowers through this forum.
I do not believe spending over £50 is an inconsequential amount, and believe the minimum standard of service I can expect is for the flowers to have been received on the correct day.
I await your confirmation of a full refund before I proceed with my actions.
I would also be grateful if you would forward this email to your Managing Director, and your Senior Customer Service manager. I would also be grateful if you would forward me their names, positions and email addresses please.
Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
Very disappointed! Will not be using Prestige Flowers again
Very disappointing. Ordered what looked like a lovely arrangement for my wife but when they arrived with Royal Mail in a cardboard box they had no wow factor whatsoever. They struggled to come to life and after four days had pretty well had it. Were as the bouquet I bought at Marks & Spencer last month lasted well over 3 weeks and was twice as vibrant for the same price. Won't be using Prestige again!
Answer: And such a poor customer service attitude. They made a mistake and blame me...
Answer: They come with your postman. Hope yours is better than what I wasted £45 on as a gift for my nan. I ordered the paris bouquet it was all dead and more like a swamp bouquet
