The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

We have a car reservation on August 13 2022
So plenty of time for a change we just received a email today our flight has changed
So we just need to pick our car rental up 2
Hours earlier they referred us to Budget tried calling them they said just have Priceline call us since this is a third party booking contacted Priceline again they had no problem taking our money but now refuse to help they said you should of read your contract more carefully no changes allowed I said I didn't anticipate a flight change bottom line they refuse to help will Never use them ever again
Hopefully we can get the car rental when we arrive early Lesson learned if you plan on using Priceline Beware No Changes allowed horrible customer service
When booking on Priceline for me, it was easy and even had flights that no other site had with a great price and no lay overs. I would recommend Priceline because of my good experience.
Booked a hotel on Priceline though I was booking holiday inn express in tampa. After I give them my card number and information.the hotel was a different one I called them they would not cancel it said they pick the hotel for me. Can not get a refund the hotel they picked had a 1 star an you needed a gun to stay there.so if you have any sense at all stay away from Priceline.
I booked a car on Priceline for 12:00 in LA. After 1:30 waiting delay, i had to cancel and Take a taxi to go where I was expected! I called the rental company that told me I had to deal with Priceline directly since they did not receive Any money for this cancelled rental. When I called Priceline, they refused to reimburse me pretexting that I prepaid My rental so nothing could be done about it!
Highly Disappointing!
I had reserved a rental car through Priceline back in February. The car company Ace had provided me with a car that was substandard and I returned it for a full refund 5 minutes later. The charge on my card was $255.47, Ace only returned $224.47 which was $31.00 short. Ace explained to me that they were only paid $224.47 which was the reason for the refund being $31.00 short. Ace stated the other $31.00 that you're looking for was the charge that Priceline charged. So I reached out to Priceline only to be told they could not help me. They refused to reimburse the $31.00, I will never use this online company again.
We waited about 1.5 hours in line to process our order. Then we waited another 1.5 hours in another line, because no vehicles were available. Missed two appointments. Traumtic, stressful.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS NO SUPPORT AFTER CALLING THEM 20 TIMES A DAY... THEY TRY TO SELL TICKETS MORE THEN ACTUAL COST BY SAYING THAT THE SAID TICKETS DOESNT EXIST ANY MORE AND TAKE EXTRA TO FILL THEIR POCKETS (SPECIALLY MR CARSON)* THEN ON SITE THEY SAY PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE BUT THEY DONT DO
WE TIRED & FINALLY WE CANCELLED OUR BOOKING AND TOOK TICKETS AT LOW PRICE FROM ANOTHER SITE.
My son booked tickets for my husband and myself from Naples, Italy to Dulles airport. He is living in Naples and trying to help us. He failed to put my middle name "Ann" on the ticket. I contacted Priceline immediately. They said to contact Turkish airlines. Turkish airlines said it is a third party transaction and Priceline must make the correction. I called Customer service, supervisors at Priceline many times with absolutely no help. I had to rebook the trip. Total amount I am out is $643. I wish I could give a zero star.
Beware of the hidden charges after you book using priceline.com
I booked a rental car from Economy car rental in Hollywood Florida through priceline.com and at the car rental desk, they forced me to pay 70% of my rental bill as waver, knowing that i provided my own car insurance and I paid in full in advance online, because i have a Canadian driver license and not American driver license.
Like many folks, I don't mind using Priceline to help save a few dollars on a flight. However, my recent experience on April 11,2022 was horrible. I booked my trip many months in advance - with only 1 day notice, my flight itinerary was changed without my consent. The normal thing to do is work with the airline to (a) ask why this happened and (b) find replacement options. For Priceline, you have to wait 30 minutes each time to speak to a customer service contact - they will transfer you to a "specialist" in the general queue and wait another 30 minutes. It will take 1 hour to process any simple request. Going forward, I will never use Priceline. All users should be warned that if there is a flight issue (change / cancel), you will be miserable. So much better to book direct with the airline. Thanks
I wanted to book a hotel where pets are allowed, so i set the filter in the search for pets. When they showed the hotels, they offered a deal where I get 20% rebate when I accept that they will chose 1 out of 3 listed hotels (I had no impact which of the hotels). I did it and then found out that the hotel I booked does not allow pets. The booking cannot be changed, I had an online chat with a priceline agent minutes thereafter, still they did not accept a cancelling.
Absolutely do not book with them! They charged us for two rooms, their supplier didn't have two rooms. They refused to compensate us for their mistake. Then, the Priceline manager was verbally abusive to us. We had to fight them to get refunded for a room they never booked — becuase it wasn't available.
As stated above, I unexpectedly lost my 35yo husband to Covid. Priceline has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. We had a flight, hotel, & rental care thru Priceline & every step has been a disaster. I am still waiting for a refund on a flight we had to cancel for our family bc of his passing. I made several phone calls & provided everything they needed, including his death certificate twice… STILL NOTHING!
For reducing few dollars, we accepted so-called non-refund/non-cancellation policy for a rental car.
Things changed not always as you think, we really need to cancel this reservation. However, this policy is as rigid as possible after the click you made. To me, this non-refund/non-cancellation policy is the worst policy once so ever.
Wasted four days of my 6 vacation trying to get Priceline to help. They were no help. Furious! Warning don't get scammed.
This is my second time booking with these guys and my first time having to make a change. I started this ordeal at 9:30 in the morning and its now 1:17 in the afternoon. I have called repeatedly and I have been given the run around, people did not know how to help me and finally a few minutes ago I was told to call the airline directly. This is beyond ridiculous.
They fixed it when it was incorrect. At first it advertised a hotel as being pet friendly but it turned out not to be. But they corrected the situation and refunded us
I will never ever use Priceline! I am going to tell all of my friends, family, and colleagues, "DO NOT USE PRICELINE TO BOOK AIRLINE TRAVEL". I am an experienced traveler. I have never been so hurt and disappointed in the lack of professionalism and dishonesty. Today was my first time making a purchase from Priceline. I paid for Main Cabin and got Basic Economy and despite the website promising free refunds within 24 hours of cancellation, Priceline refused to give me a refund. I am going to tell everyone I know and social media not to use Priceline. They have no integrity and are a dishonest company! They do not care about customers AND HAVE NO INTEGRITY. THEY ARE A SCAM. You do not get what you pay for, and they say that you can get a full refund within 24 hours of travel, and you do not. I paid for Main Cabin, and I got Basic Economy, and despite selecting my seats, and paying in full, the confirmation email did not have my seat, nor did it have the correct charge. I called Priceline immediately, was on the phone for 8 hours, being transferred to various people all over the world. No one would upgrade my ticket, nor would they refund me the money, as advertised. DO NOT USE PRICE LINE, THEY ARE DISHONEST.
Price line wil NOT Give a credit for a rental booking after paying in full for a reservation. I was not able to go on my trip because of work related and they would Not refund or give a credit. The Renal car company don't have an Issue with it because the notification was given 14 days before expecting day to pick up.
IF THIS IS THE WAY THEY TREAT CUSTOMER. WE SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THEY.
MR
I placed an order for car on Priceline for FLL airport. It gave a choice of 3 it would determine. I chose it based at the airport. I did not get one at the airport. I got the one off site which is not what I wanted. I called and can't cancel it due to type. They are deceptive if looking for on airport and give choice of 2 on airport and the other isn't which I did not know until after booked it. My fault for nit checking but still deceptive. I will nit rent from Priceline for being deceptive ever again!
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
