You can't show clients on your phone the 3d drawings. Contracts cant open them. And I only sent to 4 of them. It looks great when you are on your computer but when you print it it does not look the same.
Then tried for several days to cancel and now they say I am to late what a money taking scheme.
I am a general contractor focusing on interior design and remodeling. I purchased Houzz Pro for a few key features. They were not as intuitive as advertised and some features struggled to function properly on my iPad. I also only generated a handful of leads in a years time, most of which were not viable leads anyway. I ended up deciding to cancel my subscription, ultimately deciding I did not need the program. They wouldn't let me cancel and said I had to keep paying them for another year, only claiming this is stated in the terms and conditions (which is buried in the contract by the way). I spoke with several different people and no one would help me. So I blocked the automatic payment on my credit card. They then sent me to collections and cancelled my account anyway! They ultimately stole $300 from my small business. Check out their BBB reviews and you'll see a lot of reviews like this one. The product is less than average, but their customer service is wretched. They clearly only care about themselves and not the best interests of their clients. I highly advise all to move on to another business for contracting software and other services Houzz claims to offer.
I got my Houzz Pro account back in Spring 2020 and ever since it's been the most incredible service and support I've received since starting my interior design firm. My dedicated agent has been there to answer all my questions, flexible when I have to move our check-ins for client meetings, and great at walking me through all the Houzz Pro features. He also gives me great advice on how to follow-up on my leads and utilize the room design tools at my disposal. Not to mention I've already gotten 5+ clients through Houzz just since June! Couldn't ask for a better platform - 5 stars!
The newer Houzz Pro is a great addition to the more established Houzz platform. Having the ability to organize and track leads within the program is convenient, allowing for less leads to slip by. It's user-friendly. The concierge service curates the leads resulting in better matches/fit between client and professional.
I decided to try Houzz Pro for our business. I wasn't nervous about giving my credit card info at the time I signed up because there supposedly is a 30 day free, no risk trial. Boy was I wrong! After 5 days, it was determined that it was not a good fit for our company so I called to cancel. I was told they could not cancel it and had already charged my account for the entire year. Then I left a negative feedback on their system and was contacted by another person. He led me to believe that he could handle the credit card charge reversal. All he did was pick my brain on how Houzz Pro could be improved and then offered me a $100 credit. He also said there was no way to return the monies.
I then went to my credit card account and found they had charged me again for the entire amount. It has been nothing buy a hassle and now I'm out almost $2800 for my "Free Trial". BEWARE!
It's been about 7 or 8 years now and I will never regret the moment first joining up with HOUZZ and appreciating all the new connections it has provided our firm over this time. Simply an amazing story of pure success. And now my clients have such a simple and fun platform to express themselves with that makes our job equally as fun and productive an experience. Thanks for taking off the pressure HOUZZ!

I signed up for this as a trial with the help of * as the sales associate from Houzz, under the understanding the agreement could end at any time. The product seemed to give me a lead to what I was thinking I needed at the time. However the product was clunky and had more advertisements than I ever expected. Very cluttered platform. Then... I tried to call, email, and contact support to cancel the membership. Crickets... Not even a call back or acknowledgement from *. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE support! I had to call my bank and pay for a stop payment on Houzz from taking future payments. Never again!

This website is a great to manage your business and get new clients through it. It has many tools to accommodate your startup as well as its own 3D rendering software. Which saves lots of money and makes the workflow more efficient. All in all this website is amazing and the people you work with are all great.

Houzz presents ArcDesign on the site in a very professional way that raises client interest and reach for our services. Also, the reps are very helpful in answering questions and assisting in understanding and utilizing the many services they provide.
Answer: After being hounded for years by their persistent sales team we finally committed for a year of "Pro" service for our design company. This was very expensive and yielded no solid leads after one year. For comparison, Google gave us over 3,300 referrals in a year, Instagram almost 1,000. Houzz Pro? 35. In an entire year. Less than 3 click throughs a month for $400 a month. After a year they renewed us on a month to month basis for $400 a month with no fore warning or any follow up to see what we had thought of their "service". Our Houzz Pro "dashboard" contains no information on billing, renewal terms or renewal dates. To cancel your auto renewal you have to do it on the phone, 30 days in advance. Our sales rep. No longer answers emails and will not address this issue. We are disputing this with Visa and we keep getting charged. We block Houzz Pro and next month we get billed by Houzz Advertising. Truly a terrible, parasitic, dishonest company that provides zero value. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
