Unexpectedly found Radaris when I was trying to find out who was calling me from an unknown number. The service provided all the information I needed. Very useful feature when you need to quickly find out who is calling. I recommend it!
The customer service is non- existent and they NEVER respond to phone calls - barely to repeated emails. I have a stalker that has used Radaris to locate me! I contacted their web host and am hoping this will help me get them to remove my info permanently!
Wow, the same phone thing happened to me. Last fall, I had sent dozens of faxes, emails, etc. requesting my data be removed from several websites and databases. I had good luck with nearly every site. For Radaris, I claimed my profile, asked to hide it, deleted/corrected information, and I thought I was set. Then a couple of days ago, I saw my phone number was listed. I sent an email to Radaris, I got the same non-specific email, even though I had directed them to the url in question. I tried again and got the runaround. "We don't control that." WTF? This is the only site yet where I have seen my phone number, it is unlisted, and unpublished. They refused to take it down, acting as if they have no control. Not only that, the phone section has my full name, address, age. Uh, you don't get that from the phone book!
I emailed agin, called to their non-answered phone number, and now I sent a complaint to the FTC about this. This is particularly important because I travel overseas to places at risk of kidnapping, so I am really cautious about having my personal information so public.
This boils my blood and puts my safety at risk.
I found the ad to be deceptive. I thought I was getting a 3 day trial period but what I was getting was one full report and three days of just the contact (worthless) report. Buyer beware.
This company needs to be shut down. They hide under a guise that a lot of information is "public" and therefore is "free" and is ok to just share publicly. Just because something happens to be on the Internet doesn't mean it's ok to take that info and publish it in a large file that anyone can see, especially identity thieves. For example, one big site they use is Linked-In. How do I know this? They have an entire work history of every place I've worked and the only other place I have this info is on Linked-In. I put my info on Linked-In for a reason. It wasn't an invitation or Radaris to take it and publish it on their site for whomever to see it. On Linked-In, if someone wants to see your data, they have to at least sign up. On Radaris, after they steal this info, anyone can see it for free on their site.
They also pretend to sell you a background record for a "discounted" $9.95 and then slam you with a charge several days later for $34, which if you don't know about it to cancel it will become a recurring fee that you never agreed to. They are tricky how they hide that when you agree to pay a one time fee of $9.95 for one file. I really believe that con artists run these company. What ever happened to company's having to be accountable for their actions?
Hello Ang,
We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with your purchase. It sounds like you purchased a trial membership for $9.95 and when the trial was over, you were charged for continuing the membership.
We would be happy to refund the cost of any unused membership to you.
Yes, some of our data comes from information you posted publicly online, although most is from government records.

Googled my name and found it at radaris.com with my street address and phone. So mad. I'm a very private person and hate the thought of someone making profit out of my personal information and being put out for everyone to see.
Tried to opt out but it didn't work. So I sent an email and requested for my profile to be removed. That was Sunday. A person named "Dan" answered with reasons why I can't opt out. Well, that didn't sit well with me. Keeping my cool, I emailed him back and asked again in a very nice way to remove my profile. He answered 2 days later and asked for the URL where my name is shown. Emailed him back with the URL on Wednesday. Following day, Thursday, my name with the URL is gone from radaris.com. Thank God, Dan came through for me.
I'm so impressed with Dan that I have to write this review. If you want your profile removed from radaris.com, write Dan at *******@radaris.com with the URL of your profile. It's has 9 numbers at the end of the URL.
Email your request politely and he will oblige to remove the URL no problem.
I actually have the same concerns as Ami B. Ami I am so sorry, I have also been subject to stalking and this is the only website that is also directly putting my safety at risk. The few other public record sites I encountered have immediately honored requests to opt out. I have been exchanging emails with radaris for a long time now. I emailed them a few times with no response, tried again this past June, and exchanged emails with them since then to no avail, if you can believe. My information was displayed on their site and also https://address.radaris.com (full address and some incorrect information about me). They told me that the information can be removed once you control your profile. I now control the profiles attached to my name, but my information still remains at https://address.radaris.com. Which just recently turned into https://homemetry.com, which is still linked to Radaris. I emailed them yet again about this and they never responded. This is unacceptable. Ami, thank you for sharing your experiences and concerns and I have also taken the steps to report to my attorney general's office, BBB, and the FTC.
Hello Yasmin,
Thank you for verifying your identity. We received your request yesterday and did not have time to process it until today. All of the information you identified has been removed.

Buyer Beware!
This website Trustoria.com - same owners as Radaris.com is a complete scam. The fact that they do not give a free trial or money-back guarantee should raise a red flag.
I have paid a membership and less than 20 minutes later I realized trustoria.com does not do what they claim to do! You're mislead to think you'll be able to get the contact info of the people from the search feature and after paying for a membership to see their contact details all you get is a big list with many other people with the same name and the message: "Found several people with name (person's name you're looking for) in this area.
We are not able to match (person's name you're looking for) resume to our contact information database.
Please identify (person's name you're looking for) from the list below using additional information you may have."
And it gets even worse: Along with that their search engine shows a whole bunch of different emails that maybe belongs to the person you're looking for. When you send an email to all those email addresses, messages comes back to your email inbox as failure to deliver, email does not exist.
Since they do not deliver what they say they will after taking your money, I am sure this is a crime.
I contacted Trustoria support many times, they told me to "try again with other names" I tried that and happens the same thing. They are scammers.
I asked them to give me a refund after using it for less than 30 minutes and they said they are not giving me a refund. I insisted they said no!
I want a refund.

If you've had you ID stolen you'd understand my frustration. Even the free pieces of information they offer publically, THIEVES can piece together missing information from other similar sites. There is NO REASON to publically post anyone's birthdate - this is something you CAN'T change! Then someone gets your SSN... what's the 2 things you're always asked - even when speaking to.the credit bureaus? DOB & SSN. What a joke. If your product is so outstanding, why entice to the public bits and pieces of information they don't need to know? I can go on forever, but I'm not done with these sites. I've gone through he'll last 6 months, but have fought diligently enough to prevent any damage to my credit - knock on wood. But forever have to live FOREVER with the knowledge there are people out there with all my pertinent information. Seriously invasion of rights and privacy. Have just heard the beginning from me, I will put every bit of energy and more into changing these company's policies on providing information free for public viewing.

My original review is below and nothing has changed. Customer Service replied to this review and asked that I directly contact them at *******@radaris.com and that's one of the problems with this company. As mentioned in my review, my email has bounced back after I sent a message to this customer service email address. It's a circuitous process leading to no resolution.
Just like the other reviewers, I tried to remove my information by following their process. It's a blackhole. The "Control Information" doesn't work. It takes you to a dead end. Their customer service is email is fake. I sent a message to them and it bounced back to me, saying that it didn't recognize the domain/email. Really? That email company has been around longer than Radaris. I also tried calling their 1-800 customer service number, and again, a dead end. They put you on hold, only to ask you to leave a voicemail message, which they actually say they can't assure to respond back to. Yet, another tactic to collect your data. Radaris needs to go down!

I'm trying to remove my information, which includes my full name and address, from a page like this one, which isn't the standard kind of person page: https://radaris.com/abc/sf2ah
The information isn't public since I'm a renter, so there's no right to leave it up. I don't know where they got it, but I didn't provide it, and it's not from public government records.
Radaris's self-service removal tool is incapable of finding a removing this record, which is their first failure. I contacted customer service about this. They didn't respond after a week, so I contacted them again, and then they responded to say they had removed the record. But they hadn't. I told them so. They said again that they had done it. They still hadn't. And now it's been a week since I told them, and they haven't replied. I don't know why they won't respond or why they're incapable of removing the record they say they have removed even after trying multiple times.
It looks like they respond to reviews here so I'm hoping someone who actually knows what they're doing can help me. It's ridiculous that it has to come to this.
Update since Jessica responded: I emailed Radaris again and they still haven't even responded. Worthless.
Tip for consumers:
Maybe you'll have better luck calling them? I haven't tried that yet.
Even since Jessica's response, nothing has improved.

(writing for a friend) I am completely exasperated with Radaris. Radaris is the absolute worst people search site in existence for opting out. And, as mentioned below by another reviewer, they publish a customer service phone number - but they don't answer it, EVER.
I also have an urgent question for Jessica: why does Radaris make it IMPOSSIBLE to actually hide all of one's personal information? Radaris claims that you can hide your information, but in fact you can only hide a bit of it. I "own" my profile and have hidden all that I can, but states of residence are nonetheless listed right next to my profile box! Secondly, clicking on my profile leads to a webpage in which age and address information are printed next to my name in the browser tab (and mousing over that tab, located at the top of the window, reveals this information in full). What kind of "hiding" is this?!? I have tried multiple times to get Customer Service to remove all of this information and simply delete my name from their database, but they make up ridiculous excuses that only someone who lives under a rock would believe. Somehow, all other people search sites manage to perform complete deletions - why is Radaris "special"? Furthermore: suddenly, even more personal information for me has suddenly shown up on a COMPLETELY NEW Radaris webpage! NONE, absolutely ZERO, of Radaris' information on me is correct, but their Customer Service reps couldn't care less about displaying garbage information that violates privacy. Jessica, can you please urgently do something about this incomplete "hiding" that really isn't hiding at all?
Customers service tells you too bad. They rope you in with false advertising and then refuse to issue a refund. AVOID this ripoff

There is a photo of me on the internet supplied by radaris.com. On 2/20/14, I emailed them and somebody named Dan answered me back. Here is the email address. <*******@radaris.com. I asked for that photo to be removed. I was given instructions on how to do this and it didn't work. On 4/24/14 I followed up to ask why it was still on there with no response to date. Not only do they have a photo that they have not permission to use but most of the information is incorrect about me. I noticed today 7/25/14 that there is another person on there with my name and age, and my grandmothers name as the alias. I'm very confused as to how they get their information but it is highly inaccurate and a complete invasion of privacy. I would appreciate some direction in rectifying this matter. It is really upsetting to me that anybody can post anything about you with no repercussions.
