I had cancelled online two days after starting the trial. It apparently didn't process my cancellation. Membership fee was drafted from my account. I called customer service expecting to be told they would cancel effective for today an no more drafts would occur. I was told that but upon expressing my disappointment the representative continue to reach out to his supervisor and I was given a credit for the amount withdrawn from my account.
I paid for the subscription try to obtain previous owner registration information or name from the title was unable to find any of the matching information after paying for the subscription
I'm not interested in a monthly subscription and it wastes my time to make me go into your system and cancel. I tire of companies milking me for everything they can get rather than offering a service and giving me the option if I want to take it further.
Experienced, professional, and swift help! The Representative was extremely helpful with the cancellation of my membership without any pressure. I will use this service in the future, and recommend it.
I would objectively rate Records Finder 4-stars overall as they have a great range of searchable data points and when data is available they have returned more detailed information than other services I have used. I would have given 5-stars overall, however, it seemed to me that there were more instances where my searches returned "no available data/information not found" thank some other services. That said, the depth of available information returned when search info was matched was better than most.

How the hell is it OK for a third-party to charge money for family members to look up an inmate at a correctional facility? The only reason you're getting away with it and all the click bait it's all over the damn website it's because it's privately owned. That makes me sick. All of you make me sick. Found the person. Even saw his mother mentioned. But site could not give me any clue to his obit. His mother dedicated a memorial bench in a Denver park to him and his older brother. I therefore assume he is dead. Would like to know when and how.

While I am filling out credit card information a pop up ad for some internet security company dominated the screen and I could no longer navigate my information without maneuvering around the damn add. This kind of $#*! happens all the time so I know nothing will be done about it but I might as well mention it.
To search and make sure the information received from the vehicles owner matches records as there is no title.

I wish I had read the reviews before I spent money on this site. There is so much information missing from my own data, I have zero confidence that the information on the person I was researching is accurate. To top it all off, I got a notification this morning saying that new information had been obtained about him, so I paid $4 more for an extra report. The report said "no new information"! This is a complete scam!
I tried to look up ONE THING, and that is all I want. My receipt said that you were planning on billing me an additional $20 on May 17. I will not pay any more than $3.98. So far I have not even gotten the one search on my own car that I sold, which now has an $80 ticket on it. I phoned and somebody called "Gabriel" said he would get rid of the monthly membership fee. We shall see. Right now I have nothing but fear that I am being scammed.
Because I thought it would get me what I need for $3.98 easily. I believe I have a right to this information for free from the State of California anyway.

Everything that has been said is correct, they say they have info, but after you pay, they show you nothing, I believe this company is taking the few scraps on the Internet that are free and putting a pretty background on it and saying it's true. Thing is, they give you nothing, all they give you is free stuff but charge you and hook you into a contract. Unbelievable. One star is over the top for this company.
People say this is a scam, but when you actually look up convicted felons, their information is there. I believe this is a good site and their customer support was amazing. I cancelled my automatic renewal and they confirmed within 2 minutes. I recommend this. But I think it only searches the United States area.
Tom was very helpful; he assured my account is cancelled and I will receive a report that I requested by email. He also reminded me that I have access to the account for 7 days.
I also needed info about my neighbor's car, to decide whether I can buy it. Thank you for your help.

I think it is distasteful that your site does the whole recurring charge thing. I would have gladly paid 3.98 for the records search, but now I have to cancel an ongoing charge. And that leave a bad taste in my mouth. It is just bad business to try to scam people into paying you.

I performed the vehicle search. The information provided after paying for a monthly subscription was nearly the same as the free information - generic. Then, if you wanted specific information, you had to pay ten dollars for the premium search for one record which did not actually reveal anything. I would recommend using other sites. Their people search also seems to lack in detail compared to the free information found on other sites.

I plugged in a specific person who I know has recently this year been brought into court for major charges. I wanted more detail which I thought was the reason for signing up on this web site. This is a bait, bait and then fail to deliver service. Learn from my mistake/stupidity.
I needed ownership information on a vehicle that I had a plate number for. Record Finder reeled me in with an entry level discounted membership to get a "report." I sign up and fork over the money, only to get the report which has no useful information in it. That's followed up with an opportunity for a "premium report" for about $10.00 more. The second hook is set, and I'm reeled in again. The so called premium report is a complete dud and waste of my time and money. Useless and no refund.
Tip for consumers:
Don't do it!
This business will give you a $1 special offer of 5 days to check it out & your thinking your getting a deal, but hardly any basic information comes up if any. But for a price, you can get a bonus of "advanced search" & they can retrieve your information. Why pay a dollar, if no info is available to you, why go further with the same company?
My neighborhood has been plagued by some clown riding over-highway speeds down 2 lane very residential streets. I know he has done over 70 mph several times that I've seen, well above that a couple times. I was able to read his tag and discovered that it belonged on a Ducati, but the bike he rides is a Kawasaki ZR900. He disappeared over the winter but reappeared this week with a different license tag! Well, well.
I tried to run the tag to find where to reach him or his supervisor, jumped through the Records Finder hoops and paid about $25. That established that the present-day tag is issued to a Kawasaki and gave me its VIN. That's all.
Waste of time, effort and money. I should have known better.

There's no results on anyone I look up and the facts I spent about $9-$10 for nothing is truly heart breaking. I hope I can get my money back and please update your search results.

I tried to get a record of the owners of my car.
What I got was a general linked list of where to find it; there was no actual useful information given to me.
The site doesn't even point you to the actual titles for the car, just the general records page!
Do yourself a favor and save your money.
You've worked too hard for it to waste one penny on these folks!
I paid for a membership to reverse look up a harassing number but no records could be found so I contacted customer support and "bee" instantly contacted me on live chat and began looking into my problem. Unable to find any additional information on the number she gave me contact information to report my problem to and refunded my membership fee and answered all my questions politely and thoroughly. She made a unpleasant situation very pleasant and I can't express how satisfied I am with her assistance. I would recommend the customer service I received to everyone. I have never been helped faster or more professionally with any company I have ever dealt with.

This website does not work. I first tried to find a person by their license plate number. Nothing! Then by their name... Nothing. I then checked my own license plate number... it said their is no record of my vehicle?
I contacted them, and their reply was:
"This happens if the vehicle has been newly purchased/transferred, hasn't been updated/registered for a long time, or has been purposely removed for privacy, confidentiality and security reasons by an individual. What I recommend is you need to check with the nearest DMV to request access, or update as long as the state requirements are met.
My vehicle has been registered for 15 years. THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY.

The site had said there was a report ready for me to view of the person I had searched, so I made a payment only to be presented with a "there are no records" message after the payment had gone through!
Not sure if that's your way of scamming people to get their initial payment but it's utter bs if you ask me.
Refund would be nice, but I highly doubt you'll be issuing one.
