When my husband and I made the difficult decision to homeschool our two kids, we were completely lost. I mean, where do you even start with textbooks, lesson plans, and all that? Homeschool Pro was recommended to us by a friend, and I can't thank her enough. The curriculum is expansive and includes everything from STEM to arts and even life skills, which are often overlooked in traditional settings. But what really caught my eye was the Lifetime Membership. The idea that one payment could cover the educational needs of both our kids, and any future siblings they might have, was mind-blowing. It took so much pressure off knowing that we have a plan in place for the long term. If you're sitting on the fence about homeschooling or about which program to use, give Homeschool Pro a try. The flexibility it gives us as parents, combined with the quality of education it offers, has made it invaluable to our family
This program has everything my son needs to succeed in his education. Public school should never be enough for parents who care about their kids future. Many classes available so he never gets bored and always has more challenges. They also added a ballet and cooking class recently, all online. I also like that he gets his own free email address to use for both schoolwork and personal communication. Comes with parental controls. Also useful is the student ID which I've used to purchase him software at a discount"
My main reason for choosing this online education platform for my kids is that my children get a student id card and their own professional/educational school email address. These tools are important things to have for every kid whether you are home-schooling or whethe you use the Remote Learning School as a supplement to strengthen your child's in-person education at school. My kid is already getting affluent with using e-mail to communicate. The e-mail account has parental controls so you can set those if you want, especially for the younger children. Both the student ID and the email account can also be used to get student discounds both online and local, so the membership eventually pays for itself.
I suggest registering today, before all good email addresses are taken, for example FirstnameLastname or FirstnameInitial etc if you register now you will probably get a better email address which your child can keep as long as you they are a member, also if they are a member for a year or if you got the lifetime membership, the email address is theirs forever, so it will help them for their entire school life. Even for a kid its good to have an email address with an educational extension instead of a generic g-mail or hot-mail one for example.

Overall program offers many features, many not offered by other programs and schools, so its very good value.
School email address: Each kid gets 100mb of storage. Not a lot if they send lots of videos etc but should be enough for education and communicating with relatives etc. Has parental controls.
School ID - Every child gets a school ID. This is a digital school ID but you can also print it as well as use it for discounts on software and more, both online and offline.
JuniorFolio - This is where varous achievements and certificates are stored so you can showcase their accomplishments and be proud.
Press ID - if the child decides to write for the school magazine they get a very cool press ID
Classes - there are tons of subjects. Classes are pre-recorded and can be taken by the student at any time.
Membership fees - You can choose monthly, Quarterly, Semiannual or life time. Lifetime is probably the best value. Also covers the entire family/household so you dont have to buy membership for every kid in the family which saves a lot of money.
Registration - everything is done online and through email so very conveniten
Customer service - you can ask them anything through email or through their facebook page and they usually reply very fast though sometimes during a busy school week there can be a delay in reponse
Hope this review helps!

Please do not use this site for your child's remote learning needs. It's a complete bait and switch situation. I signed up for six months for my first grader with hopes of her doing first grade and then heading into the second grade classes and within literally the first week my daughter had completed math, language, arts, and science for 1st grade. Figuring that can't be accurate, we contacted the company to ask about more classes and we were given the runaround saying they upload classes weekly. It then took them a couple more weeks to upload a few more classes for those specific subjects. At this point, my daughter had completed all of the other extracurriculars that they offer, including cooking, ASL, music, etc. she went on to complete the minimal classes that were uploaded and then back to the same problem, no classes for her to take. We have reached out over and over with either no response, or the same response, of "we will look into it". If I had known this would be the case, I absolutely would not have signed up for six months of this. I was very clear upfront, what I was looking for from a remote learning school standpoint and they said there were tons and tons of classes to choose from and lessons to learn within each class. You cannot complete all of the first grade classes within the first 2 to 3 weeks. They make it look really good but in reality there is not much content and it's quite the joke. I can't tell you how many times we have reached out to our advisor who is supposed to help us through the process only to get no response. We are now trying to get the transcripts so that we can pass them on to the county and no one will respond to our countless emails. I really cannot fathom how they have so many positive reviews unless they are fake. There has been zero support. They seem very supportive and respond to emails very quickly when you are in the decision phase of going with their program but as soon as you make the decision and pay, they disappear. I will not stop writing reviews so everyone can see the truth before they sign up with the scam of a company.

I like it because its the only program I came across that issues you a student ID card and a school email account

Thank you for the review. I've spoken to many parents who also appreciate that the RLS membership includes a student ID card for each of their children, as well as school email accounts. Even many regular schools don't provide those! We pride ourselves on being one of the few online programs that offers such features.

Misleading advertising: They advertise themselves as one of the most comprehensive online curriculums out there. In fact, not a single course offered by them could be considered complete. The French course comprises a total of 4 lessons. The Kindergarten Jr Math courses is a whopping 2 lessons. Ballet... 1 lesson. Korean... 1 lesson. Grade 8 Algebra... 1 lesson. There is NOTHING comprehensive about what they offer.
Fake reviews: The reviews scattered across the internet were written by the same handful of people. The vast majority of these "people" have only reviewed this "school". The photographs used by some of these reviewers are stocks photos. Alas, since the entire website, "viral" videos and instructor profiles also include stock photos this is unsurprising.
Lacks transparency: they have no sample lessons or trial period. The opportunity to try a sample, view a lesson or try before you buy is universal amongst educational sites. They refuse to answer questions on how they screen their instructors, if they screen their videos, etc. Additionally, the same "social media manager" runs an unemployment website (unemploymentpua) and a school review website (schoolrating.net). It's dishonest to not disclose these relationships, especially when you run the rating website that gives your school perfect reviews. The only interaction on social media for remotelearning.school is from the unemploymentpua account and a blatantly fake account with a stock photo.
They have now blocked my IP address from accessing their site due to my review. This doesn't look good for the company. If you aren't doing anything wrong, why would you block a user.

The classes are decent for the price paid. I found the info better organized if I assign it through Google Classroom (eg Grade 8 History)

I highly recommend this school. This is my first review which I am pleased to write as my kids are learning so much.
Enrollment:
Enrollment was quick, everything was done online, I had some questions which I emailed them before enrollingand they answered within a few hours.
I registered both my children (ages 6 and 10) and within 3 days they already had their student ID and their JuniorFolio set up. JuniorFolio is like a digital portfolio that tracks their achievements.
Program:
We use the program as supplemental to our public school curriculum, though it can also be used as a full homeschool curriculum. If your child is in public school it is important you enroll in this program to help them achieve maximum potential, as parents we've seen how limited and encapsuled is the education they get from their public schools. The program at the Remote Learning School goes above and beyond their standard curriculum.
Curriculum:
RemoteLearning School has hundreds of classes for different grade lessons. In addition to all the standard classes such as math, ELA, Science, etc, it has many special interest classes such as Entrepreneurship, journalism, meteorology, photography, and more. They also have virtual physical activity classes, music, dancing, and more. So many classes that I can't even remember their names right now.
While it sounds overwhelming initially, all clasees can be done at your own pace
Other perks:
They get a student ID (which I've already used to save on software for my kids) as well as a school email address. Most other programs do not offer such benefits.
Pricing
Pricing is VERY affordable and is a good value if we look at everything this program offers. You can choose to enroll monthly. Or buy the lifetime membership (which I did)
I hope my review helps!

Glad to hear your kids are doing well in our program. We seek that all children go beyond the boundaries of what's taught in public school, and allow them to be more adaptable to our ever-evolving world by encouraging their innate curiosity in all the directions they wish to take it.

COVID-19 has brought to light the importance of having an adaptable online platform to support the children's education, particularly in times when disruptions occur to our regular schedule and routine.
The Pandemic initially forced many schools to switch to online learning. Schools were unprepared for the sudden shift of instructional methodology, resulting in inefficient teaching methods, with kids being bored and not learning much after sitting in front of their laptop for several hours. These limitations impeded student learning while also negatively affecting the development of the child as a whole.
Furthermore, it was next to impossible giving a kid the individual attention they deserve in that busy online classroom, letting some fall behind and others not utilize their full potential.
RemoteLearning.school rose to the challenge, giving kids a virtual school environment at all times, allowing them to actually learn and advance, and take advantage of their maximum potential.
As schools resume in-person studies, RLS continues to enhance youth education in parallel, ensuring that school-aged kids will never again have their education disrupted.
Thanks for the review! RLS is one of the only online education programs offering a student ID card and a school email account for each student.
