Very clear website, it took less then five minutes to reserve a room. My wife and I are visiting a friend in New Jersey and have never spent time in the Meadows. Two for one trip, Hilton looks like a great place for a get away weekend.
Simple and quick but I was not explicitly and separately notified that there is a ridiculous service fee on top of the hotel cost...my error for not reading all lines...will NEVER use this site again!

Made a reservation for comfort suites in Dayton. Wanted adjoining rooms. The rep said that there were adjoining rooms in the hotel I was booking but that he could not indicate that on the reservation, and I would need to ask for the adjoining rooms upon arrival and if there were and if there were any left, I could get one. He said that alternatively, our rooms would be situated across the hall. We arrived and I requested the adjoining rooms. The front desk person told me that there were none available, and in fact, there was only one such room in the hotel. I told him about the booking, and he said that the booking agent could have requested the adjoining rooms in a special request comment line and that the hotel would've responded immediately whether such a room was available. Additionally, I was charged a $15 booking fee, which was never mentioned when I was on the phone with the booking agent. Additionally, I was charged approximately an extra $30 in "fees" for each room, in addition to the listed rate, plus taxes.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use them. They lie.

I'll start by saying that I travel a lot for work, and almost exclusively book directly with hotels. In this instance, I typed the exact hotel I was looking for into Google and clicked on the top link that was returned in my search. That is where the problems started... Reservation Counter designs their website to look like the actual hotel, and seemingly works with Google to show up at the top of a hotel search. I recently booked a room before discovering it was a 3rd party website (because of an additional $15.99 reservation fee). Upon realizing that the direct hotel booking was almost $90/night less expensive, I went to my email reservation and "cancelled" the room - which was incredibly easy. The website and email had mentioned that I had until the day before my stay to cancel... what wasn't as obvious is the $209.05 change/cancellation fee - essentially the same as the entire room cost. I found a 1-800 number and contacted Reservation Counter directly, hoping to either get my money back or have them reinstate the reservation (~$90 more is better than losing $209 and getting nothing). I was met with poor customer service that told me nothing could be done; the reservation was cancelled and the $209 "cancellation fee" would be reduced from my refund.

Using browser to search for a hotel in Fort Myers for a family funeral, I found myself unintentionally on a call with Reservation Counter when I thought I was calling Residence Inn because it was a "sponsored site." They said the Residence Inn was not available for the entire stay I requested but La Quinta (next door) was. I showed up and was informed only at check-in that the pool and gym were still non-functional from Hurricane Ian which occurred nine months before. There was also still drywall missing in the lobby. I refused to check in and was able to get a room at the Residence Inn (next door, as it turns out). Fabulous hotel. Fully functional gym, pool, junior suites. I contacted Reservation Counter three times about the matter during my Florida stay to try to resolve the issue. I also tried contacting them another five times only to be met with wait times in excess of 20 minutes and a call-back system that repeatedly hung up on me. When Reservation Counter finally contacted me by email a week later, they just said I had agreed to a "no cancellation policy" on the phone, even though they had misrepresented what they were selling.
Products used:
I used nothing that Reservation Counter offered. They charged $16 as a "service fee" to get my hotel room in a hotel that was under construction.
