Very clear website, it took less then five minutes to reserve a room. My wife and I are visiting a friend in New Jersey and have never spent time in the Meadows. Two for one trip, Hilton looks like a great place for a get away weekend.
Simple and quick but I was not explicitly and separately notified that there is a ridiculous service fee on top of the hotel cost...my error for not reading all lines...will NEVER use this site again!

Thank you for your review. As an independent online booking company we purchase our inventory from multiple hotel partners and suppliers. This inventory has had all terms, conditions, pricing, and cancellation policies dictated by the hotel at the time they sold this inventory off to third party booking agencies such as ours. When a booking is finalized full payment is forwarded to the hotel to secure the reservation for the consumer. For a refund to be authorized on a non-refundable booking, we must contact our hotel partners who will reach out to the supplier and they will in turn verify if the hotel property, who collected the full payment, agrees to authorize a penalty waiver and refund back to the consumer. When the hotel property denies a request for a penalty waiver and chooses to stick to the policies that they have dictated for the reservation, we are contractually bound to comply with their decision regarding the terms and conditions. We apologize for the unfavorable resolution.
Stay Away from these guys!
Do not reserve anything with Reservationcounter.com! They literally just:
1. Wasted 2 hours of my life;
2. Pulled a classic bait and switch; and
3. Then completely lied about the amount they were charging to my credit card. Here goes:
1. I called with a request that was, perhaps, a bit atypical, but nothing that complicated: I wanted to book 5 rooms for 2 nights at the Westin Prince Hotel in Ontario (for a family wedding in September). The woman on the other end of the phone, kept on "checking" and "rechecking" for over an hour (and no, I'm not sure why I didn't just hang up on this clearly incompetent person).
2. Finally, she told me that we could get 2 rooms at a standard rate and the other 3 at a discounted rate. Sounded good, so we told her to go ahead. After booking the 2 rooms at the regular rate, she says something like, "oops, I see the system is not letting me book the 3 discounted rooms; I guess someone else took them. So I'll have to book everything at the full rate." So we told her, "that's disappointing. Obviously then, we won't be booking anything; please cancel the first 2 rooms." To our shock, she actually then said: "you can't cancel; they are noncancelable."
SO, TO RECAP: they offered us 5 rooms, 2 at full price, and 3 at discount -- then booked the 2 full-priced rooms but changed their minds about the discount -- yet they would not less us cancel the full-priced rooms! Assuming that the woman we were talking to might be deranged we asked to speak to a supervisor who told us she understood why we were upset but that there was nothing she could do. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
3. I then called my credit card company to try to stop the charge. They asked me how much it was? I told them -- approx. $770. I then heard a gasp on the other end of the phone: "Well, that's the amount of one of the charges, but there are a total of 4!" These crooks ended up charging my card for nearly $3,000! (The total price of the 2 booked rooms was about $770.)
I would probably write more, but I need to go take a few aspirin. Just do yourself a favor: stay away from these people

This has been the worst booking experience ever! I rarely, if ever write, reviews, but this was so terrible that I feel compelled to make sure others are aware before trying to book using this website. I booked two hotel rooms, and after something unexpected came up, I tried to cancelling the reservation the same morning I booked it. I was told multiple times by customer service that they could not cancel by reoom reservations and therefore could not refund me any of the expenses. After learning this, I took time off work to make it to my reservation only to find out that one of my room reservations had in fact been cancelled and the second room, which was booked for a king size bed was down graded to a twin bed! When I called customer service I was told there was absolutely no way to reimburse me for the room they cancelled and that I would not get compensated for the difference in the second room. I asked if they could at least assist me in paying for the room I had actually reserved, not the single bed room that was given to me, they said there was nothing they could do! I was absolutely shocked. The customer service representatives told me repeatedly that the rooms I had booked had no been canceled, and based on those representations, i made significant changes to my schedule to make it to my reservation on time, only to find that one room had been cancelled and the other was not what I requested. Even under these circumstances, this company did nothing to try to mitigate the harm to me and my family. I submitted an online complain and refund request, which they said they would respond to in 7 days, and I received a cursory boilerplate one sentence response. I will never book through this company again. Absolutely terrible customer service.

BE AWARE: STAY AWAY! To be clear. When I made my reservation on-line I thought I was making my reservation with the actual hotel. Learned the hard way that that was not the case.
When I called the booking assistance at the Reservation Center to cancel my reservation (5/11/20). I felt like I was given the runaround. First I was on hold for 15 minutes before I decided to have a representative call me back. That took another 15 or 20 minutes. When a representative called back, I was placed on hold for another 5 minutes before the representative (Anna) responded. I explained to Anna that I needed to cancel my reservation because I just received a call from my husband's doctor that his surgery scheduled on 5/12/21 will need to be rescheduled due to an emergency. Unfortunately for us, we received the message from the doctor while we were in route to the hotel. I explained to her that I tried to cancel my reservation at the hotel. I was told because it was I went through a third party to make the reservation that I would need to contact the third party to cancel my reservation. Anna said what I could not cancel my 2-day reservation because I was outside the cancellation policy. I just made the reservation only 5 hours prior. I expected to pay a cancellation fee. I was not expecting to have to still pay for my 2-day reservation. A cost of $283.55. Anna said she would get her manager team. His name was Mario. Mario could not help and said he would have his manager team call me back also. It's been over 2 hours and I have not received a call back from anyone. Lesson learn for me. I would never book from a 3rd party vendor again. At least not this one. I am very dissatisfied with the service I received from the Reservation Center. Unfortunately for me, I am out of nearly $300 and, I still need to make a reservation in another week or two for my husband's surgery again. What an expensive lesson Hopefully, I can help someone not fall prey to this booking company. STAY AWAY!

I was looking up the actual hotel and they sent me to this booking agency by the name of Reservation counter and I booked a room with them and all I was was wanting a motel with a pool well the woman told me they had a pool so I went ahead and paid for the room. When I get there to check in I realize there pool was down so I told them I wanted refundand that I was going to another motel that had a pool well they told me that my card hasn't been charged well I left and a hour or so later I went and looked and realized they did charge my account and now they don't want to refund my money. I've called the hotel and the booking agency and neither one of them want to give me my money bk and I wasn't there 10 mins not to mention I was only there to enjoy the pool and when I get there they don't have a pool and they think I'm supposed to let them take $62.00 out of my account when I was clearly not satisfied! If there was a pool it would not have been a problem but I don't think it's right for me to have to pay when I'm not a satisfied customer and I didn't even stay there and there very rude and very unprofessional when dealing with customers I will do everything I can to make sure they don't rip nobody else off I will be contacting BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! I will never use them ever again and I'll be sure to tell others as well! Ricky little! *******

We contacted the number that was given for the Motel 6 Dallas location and they never stated they were not the hotel. The rep i spoke with asked for my husband's credit card info which i was hesitant to give because i did not want to be charged yet. He assured me that nothing would be charged until check out and given our flight arrived at 11:59pm he stated he would mark us for late check in and we would be fine. It turned out we did not need the room and i called 24 hours in advance. I talked to Julio F. Agent ******* who stated we would not get a refund because it was against the policy. Advised him our card should have not been charged per info provided and we wld pay at checkout. I looked back at my husbands card and saw that we had not been charged yet but that we were billed a service fee of $14.99 the night I made the reservation which we were not informed of. I was lived. Asked to speak to a supervisor and after a long wait agent returns to say his supervisor Byron would call me back within 15 minutes. Needless to say no call. They never cancelled the reservation and the next day charged my card. VERY DECEPTIVE. BEWARD OF THIS COMPANY. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT CONTACTING THEM. HAD TO END UP DISPUTING WITH CREDIT CARD COMPANY. POOR POOR SERVICE.

I prepaid for a room through Reservation Counter and arrived at the property holding the reservation only to find that the room was smelly, dirty, and completely unsuitable. I was not offered an alternative room to fulfill my reservation and was assured by the motel property that I would not be charged for the reservation as the property was not able to provide a suitable room. I was told by the motel property that I would need to contact Reservation Counter to receive a refund for the room as Reservation Counter was the booking agent.
I contacted Reversation Counter and was told that the motel property denied my request for a refund so Reservation Counter would not provide a refund. I then called the motel property and spoke with the general manager of the motel who assured me that Reservation Counter had not contacted the property. After a number of calls to both the property and Reservation Counter I was able to convince the general manager of the motel property to call and speak with Reservation Counter to clear up any misunderstanding. The general manager called me back after speaking with Reservation Counter and said that Reservation Counter stated that a third associate party was involved and vetoed the refund. She stated that Reservation Counter could not disclose the name or contact information of the alleged third party as Reservation Counter did not know who it was.
Reservation Counter is clearly giving me and the motel property general manager the run around in hopes that I'll give up trying to get the refund that I deserve.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. Reservation Counter is headquartered in Utah, so I will continue with the Utah state authorities next as required.
I can't say enough to ward you away from this business. During my last call the manager at Reservation Counter refused to provide a refund for any reason and hung up the phone while I was speaking with her.

This is their scam. You Bing or Google say Silver Legacy Hotel Reservations, Reno, NV, and up comes FIRST these criminals--with most of your words in bold, pictures of the hotel, the address of the hotel, and policies of the hotel. There is only one small mention of the words Reservation Counter in one corner, so it gives the impression, if you notice it at all, that this is what Silver Legacy must call their reservation department. Unfortunately, when I call, Silver Legacy does not have my reservation in their system, and Reservation Counter has my money. So... now I want a refund. So I try to follow the instructions about refund on my booking receipt: more than 2 days before check in date. Watch this deception! You can't reach them on their website, and you can only reach them by phone if you are willing to wait a long time. Finally, I was told no refund because 5 a.m. Thursday cancelation for a 3 pm. Saturday hotel check -in was 5 hours late. 2 days meant at least 59 hours before check-in or no refund at all! Now, they already charged a non-refundable cancelation charge, so this is just criminal. No honest hotel would do this. They do because they are neither a hotel, or honest. BBB tells me they have had 140+ complaints in the last 12 months--even with Covid restrictions. Amazing. This is why they are not accredited by BBB. So, I make a complaint. I also make a Yelp complaint. And I complain here. Finally, I filed a complaint with the Utah Attorney General's office, because that is the business address they are using. Someone said they are in Honduras though. And of course, I refuted the $336 charge with my credit card company.
