Very clear website, it took less then five minutes to reserve a room. My wife and I are visiting a friend in New Jersey and have never spent time in the Meadows. Two for one trip, Hilton looks like a great place for a get away weekend.
Simple and quick but I was not explicitly and separately notified that there is a ridiculous service fee on top of the hotel cost...my error for not reading all lines...will NEVER use this site again!

Absolutely horrible company! They hijacked my phone call (called the hotel phone number- they somehow got ahold of my call- never identified themselves and took my reservation). The hotel didn't have our reservation- it was a total nightmare! We tried to get our money back and they refused. Avoid these scam artists like the plague!

Would give a zero if I could. I thought I was booking on the hotel website and they hijacked my reservation and now they won't let me cancel. Hotel said they would refund me directly if I would cancel through reservation counter and they refuse to cancel so I will never get my money back. HUGE SCAM! Plus I asked to talk to supervisor and was told they don't have supervisors! This should be illegal.

This is a third party reservation that acts like they are part of the hotell. I called to cancel and asked about the policy. They told me no amount of a refund would be given so I said I did not want to cancel. They told me that it was already cancelled and could not be reinstated. It was literally 5 seconds. "I am sorry, but once it is cancelled it cannot be reinstated". WHAT? I JUST did it! He would not give me his name or let me talk to a supervisor. I called a second time and talked to a woman with the exact same result. HORRIBLE BUSINESS!

We booked the hotel through Reservation Counter and our room should came with a kitchen! We were charged $25 more for it too! When we arrived hotel didn't even have kitchen at all. We booked 6 nights and when tried to get the difference back we were first given a run around for almost a week and then NO! This is a very deceptive business that is using a deceptive practices. STAY AWAY these people are SCAMMERS!

You may be thinking you are booking from the hotel site when in fact you get this third party. Finding out almost 2 days in advance is not early enough to get a refund. You just spent more money than if you had booked directly with the hotel. If you are dialing a local number, you are probably safe!

I'm sure they have plenty of legal stuff that says I agreed to it, but I didn't even realize I wasn't booking with Marriott directly until I needed to add my Marriott frequent traveler number. My trip was then cancelled the next day (still 3 days before my trip) so I cancelled it and they are charging me $200. I called, and they did not give one care about it.
By the way, their hold music is the worst too. Just gets louder and louder and noisier. It felt like a way to make me hang up.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Tip for consumers:
They just don't care. I feel like their model is to make money from people that need to cancel a reservation. Or gauging customers that don't travel as much or don't have a travel agent. They are definitely of 0 value for anything.

I called Reservation Counter as the number came up on Sandman web site and got the phone number for Sandman.

If I could give them a - star I would. I booked a hotel room through them and was shown a breakdown of the cost of the room, taxes and booking fees and then a TOTAL COST. Only after I gave them my credit card info and completed the transaction was I shown the info that the hotel would also be charging me an additional $50 deposit and a $30.10 resort fee. I called and complained and they said they understood but there was nothing they could do about it and that the booking was not cancellable and non refundable. Totally misleading and deceitful. My recommendation...don't do business with them.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid them! They are totally deceitful. They give you a total price and once they charge your credit card they tell you will have to pay additional fees when you get to the hotel.
