Predatory practice luring people in with a "free resume builder", then charging them for the completed resume after the fact. Will never use this program again.

This site was very easy to follow and guided you every step of the way. Like how it gave you choices, made that so much more easier. They said it would take about 15 minutes and it did. I like how it gave you choices of layouts for your resume and you could change. It generated things and then you could change that and or add more options.

Resume Genius is an amazing website! I never expected creating a resume to be so easy, with such a great selection of professional templates. Thank you!

The home page says card number is not required. Although, the amount is a small amount, I was asked to enter my card information. I hope the cancellation policy is correct and I do not get charged monthly.

Easy to build your resume! Very helpful and good layouts. But the fact I can't save what I've done is very annoying. I had to do it 4 or 5 times because whenever my screen blocked, all my work was erased.

Bait and switch. You say free and then right at the end pop you with a fee. Im going to pay it because I sunk so much time but that is slimy business.

It was exactly what i needed in order to begin my journey in a new field. I have been cooking for 30 years now. My body can benefit, from a not so demanding type of work.

The formats are very nice and I like how simple it is without being too cluttered. But I did not know it would cost money till after I made my resume.

Great help trying to spice up my resume. I have been trying different sites for the last week or so and this was the only one that super easy to navigate.

My resume turned out well, but I was wary of investing time once again on a site that advertises "FREE ONLINE RESUME BUILDER." I've dealt with this previously with MyPerfectResume. The link pulls you in with the belief that it's free. You spent a decent amount of time creating your ideal resume only to find a charge at the end if you actually want to use the resume you built. I was cautiously optimistic that it was actually free as advertised, but once again, I felt completely misled.

Great resume builder. Made the process easy and recommended descriptions that are better than my own words, and helped me think through talents and skills.

Pricing transparency will be appreciated from the start. Also, the ability to include your own sections to create resumes outside of professional ones (ie: academic).

It is advertised that I can use this website to update my resume, but the transfer system is faulty at best. Random words from other sections of my uploaded resume will get into incorrect places such as the word "relevant" suddenly becoming another school I'd gone to, or the name of my volunteer program suddenly becoming a skill. I would expect this from a resume that I had made separately, but the uploaded one was a previous one from this website, less than 6 months old.

Other than that, it is also ridiculous to pay for an entire new resume when I am simply trying to update one that I have already paid for off of this website. $23 for the first one? Okay. ANOTHER $23 for a one sentence difference I need while using the same website? Annoying. I wouldn't care if it was a $12 fee to edit, but this is ridiculous.

I originally picked this site because I was looking for a free template, but I guess nothing is ever really free. Either way the process was easy and I was really pleased. May use again in the future because the prices wasn't bad.

Tried making my own resume on word and google docs first and wasn't satisfied and the template and I needed an updated and professional resume and Resume Genius is affordable, user friendly and has very fresh resume layout options.
