I ordered on Dec. 1 and the package still hasnt come and its Dec. 27th. The email I received said it would come in 8-15 business days. Then I emailed for a refund and they say they cant refund it yet because it has already shipped and they sent me a tracking link and its all Chinese characters! And I have paid USD for a package to come from China! They make it seem like an American site! What a scam

Everything was shipped from Hong Kong and terrible, inferior quality. Chinese made and sizing. (all clearly labelled in Chinese and not English)
Shoes were NOT a standard size (I have never NOT fitted a 38/39 - I cannot stand in these 39's) and headpiece was a cheap replica of what was advertised on the site.
Be VERY careful, they have an AMAZING website but horrible cheap products arrive.
I am sending everything back BUT have to pay the shipping.
This represents as an American company but everything ships from Hong Kong and China:(
Their photos are off other sites representing higher quality and you get rubbish.

I would give Retro-Stage a zero if I could. I have been waiting 68 days and counting for my order. It is impossible to talk to someone about this and if I knew it would be this long I would never have ordered from them. I feel like all I get is the run around. Ordered a dress and shawl to match in sale. Immediately recieved email stating stock was out but could I wait. I did wait. Eventually after a number of emails from me to them they posted the dress... late. The tracking information was not recognised by delivering company. I could see many other customers emails popping up on my feed... no privacy or security there. Thenter told the shawl is out of stock... but is still on sale on site with no indication that it's not available. I pointed this out and told actual and virtual stock are 2 different things. They have my money... I don't have the product and they're offering it to sell to more customers?

First and last time I buy anything from here. What you see online is not what you get in reality. When I received the dress it was cheap material and very itchy. I had such a problem from the get-go. First I placed an order then I got an email saying they were out so o would receive it about a week later. I told them I would be moving and needed them to send it to my new address. They still sent it to my old address so then it took even longer to receive the package. I emailed about my disappointment in the product and then I was told I had to buy the label and return it. Why should I shell out more money to return a pathetic dress? I think it's so wrong that companies expect you to pay for a return level because their product is a piece of trash! Very very disgusted.

After waiting 3 weeks for an order of 3 dresses, i recieved an email saying the final piece shipped. That dress came a week later... in the wrong color. I ordered a black dress with gold trim and recieved a gold dress. Gold trim. I sent an email and hope to hear back on how to get my refund. This company gives you so many excuses to not give you a refund. They state is bad for the environment. I bought a dress that didnt fit right and when I tried to return it they said they will $7 back. Or I can pay to send it back for a full refund. They took about a month to get back to me. Its all scam. Do not order from them.

I received an outfit that was poor quality and shoes that were too big. I sent four emails to start the return process and have never heard back from them. I even called the number on the website, and it was a person's cell phone, I left a message and still have not heard from anyone. I will never shop on their website again!

I have ordered 4 dresses (2 gatsby style dresses and 2 dresses from their 1950's selection). I love 3 of the 4. The 4th one the only issue I had was that the sash material was different then I expected and as a personal choice didn't care for it. The quality is nice, the delivery of the dresses came super quick. The only issue I had was that the earrings and headband come from overseas so took much longer to arrive then the dresses and barely made it time for my event. Will definitely still look to the site for other pieces.
Retro Stage is a scam. I ordered a dress on September 4th and paid for express shipping to ensure it arrived in time for my event. The day before the event, the package was still in China. Clearly it was not going to arrive in time. I sent a message to *******@retro-stage.com requesting cancellation and credit. The first reply back was that they were at an event in China and would get back to me. The second message said it was already shipped so they cant credit. I replied that it is too late, I dont need it anymore. They replied that they cant credit and sent the tracking number. I replied that it has been sitting in Guangzhou since Sept 6th so clearly it isnt coming. So far, no reply.

Placed my order last night and they told me to let them know if I was getting it for a special occasion. I told them I was getting it for my brothers wedding and they shipped it out next day! All the experience with customer care has been great and all of the dresses are beautiful can't wait to see it when I get this one out of the box!
All dresses were simply gorgeous and very well made. My only problem is I am short and the long dresses were too long and will require alterations. However, if I were taller, would be right off the rack.

This dress is honestly beautiful and well made. I couldn't believe the quality was as good as it was for the price and kept looking for flaws. I couldn't find any. It fits well and is comfortable as well. There is also an abundance of detail with sequins and beading. I have already bought another dress and I cant wait to get it too.
Wish I could give this website a negative rating! My daughters senior homecoming theme was the 1950's era. She thought she had found the perfect dress on this website. I ordered the dress, paid for the expedited shipping and the order was confirmed on October 3,2019. It is October 23,2019 and the dress still hasn't arrived. 10 business days would have been October 17th. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews on this website or I wouldn't have ordered. Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
