Received my gorgeous dress for a great Gatsby event. I love it. It is exactly as described and true to measurements. Postage was fast, I had left it late and normally wouldn't have received the parcel in time but it was so quick that I have two weeks to spare!
This dress is so cute! I made sure to use the size chart provided by the company and had to order 2 sizes up from what I normally wear. The dress is made of a light material and was not bulky at all. The colors were very vibrant, and I received compliment after compliment on my dress. All in all, will order again
In accurate sizing false web description, buyer beware. This place obviously did not send me the correct address and they are doing nothing to fix it they said I should just give it to a friend or send it back and I'll give me five dollars I paid over $50 for the dress and I need the truck and I wanted the dress but they do nothing to fix the problem I guess they assume everybody has enough money to just give it away very unhappy with this place don't use them or you'll get swindled as well! As you can see it doesn't go down is as much in the back and the top doesn't fold over as well as the picture and there is no belt on the dress
I absolutely love the store RETRO STAGE and their dresses! It is well made of a nice, heavy fabric. The first time I ordered, I went by the "fits as expected" reviews and ordered my usual size, And it perfectly fit as expected. I will definitely be ordering more retro stage dresses. These dresses would easily go for $60 or more at a department store. Highly recommended.
I had my husband purchase a dress for me in an XL to attend a 20s themed party. I read all the comments and finally decided to buy on this website. It is very surprised when the small package arrived at my house(two days earlier than I expected). The customer service was very good, I send the email to correct my size and successfully received the right dress. Everything is perfect.

I really enjoyed wearing this dress at a wedding, so many people have commented on it. I am in love with Retro stage fashion and so glad I found this website. The quality is great the items are exactly the same as the picture and the price is reasonable. I had to wait a bit for the dress to be delivered but it was worth it. The dress is so feminine and comfortable to wear I felt great in it. I will be shopping here again. It's just wonderful
First it was never advertised that the dresses were sent from china before I had placed my order, next it was never mentioned that one of the dresses I chose was out of stock, I received an email 13 days after I had ordered to tell me that one of my item was out of stock. When I finally received one of the dresses the sizing was very off. I ordered a small, following the size chart. I received what is called a small (4-6) but is actually a big 14 or 16 (L-XL). The waist is 31 inches instead of 27.5 and the bust is over 41 inches instead of 34.6. The wrong sizing is even worst since its elastic and should be worn tight. Finally, the quality is fine but not worth the price.

Ordered some clothes from here and then there were some problems with the order process so I contacted customer service. Customer service was very rude and unhelpful. I told my friend about what happened and she said that she had similar issues when she also ordered from Retrostage a few months ago and that they refused to give her a refund when they only sent 2 out of the 3 items she ordered. Buy elsewhere!

Very well made dress. The fabric is very nice and swings/ drapes well. It does have a fair amount of giving, so you can move in the dress without fear
Of ripping the seams. The color was just like the picture (I bought the dark blue). I am 5'1"", 175 and 36DDD girls and should have bought the XL not the XXL (a little too big is better than a too small). I did cut the tack threads at the bust line and gave the girls more room. I wore this dress to a wedding and my husband LOVED it. I got several comments on how well I looked. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is it had no pockets. I am an aesthetic and need a place to stash my inhaler. (note I did add a pocket myself) I was able to iron out the few wrinkles from shipping. I will buy more in different colors (dark red next) and a smaller size. Buy it you will not be sorry.
After a little bit of back and forth, they did let me send my dress back (I had to pay for shipping, but it was an in-state CA address so it didn't cost much). They have refunded me. I just wish the process wasn't so stressful. But I appreciate them accepting my return!

I needed to return a dress and wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from here. They don't have any sort of "Cancel Order" option if you want to try to cancel your order before it ships out.
I contacted customer service and they asked me what was wrong with the dress... then said "Actually you cannot return it." And then said that if I must return it, I must pay for shipping and it's a very high cost so I would be better off giving my order to someone else as a gift.
Read the reviews of Retro Stage before making a decision to purchase! I wish I had.
Their phone number seems like a US number, but from their return page, it's full of broken English, so you can tell they aren't exactly being upfront with where things are shipping from.
I went into store to check availability. Not the style I wanted but I did find I'm not a medium. I'm a small. Good to know.
When dress came it was exactly as described and very comfortable. I feel sexy in it!

Don't order from this site! WARNING! They split your order into two and then you never see the second package. I am missing over $100 worth of the stuff I order on two different dates a month ago. They still aren't here and they refuse to refund me. The only reason I'm giving one star is because I have to in order to leave a review.

For these prices, the quality of the dresses is good. What caught my attention is that the customer service of this store will patiently communicate with me. The skirts arrived within their promised deadlines, which made me very satisfied. I can trust this store.

I cannot believe the in unbelievable quality of my most recent purchase from retro stage. The dress I ordered, it's stunning! I had so many compliments from the party I went to. I would highly recommend ordering from retro stage.
The dress is exactly as expected and looks just like the picture. I didn't notice any fraying, missing beads, etc. The material isn't thin (its not thick, but it certainly isn't thin) and its actually quite comfortable. It has the right amount of stretch without looking like its straining.
Great customer service! I had support for an error I made in the order and was kept up to date!
The clothes are of the expected quality. Nice fabrics. They are all just as expected from the pictures, no bad surprises! I think those are amazing for the price!
