The game is amazing its really fun but there's a lot of bad stuff on it Roblox has a system where the bad words in the chat get filtered but people use * and^ to cover the bad words but its still obvious what they are trying to say and a lot of people online date there's a curtsey emote and people get in front of each other and it looks like they're kissing one time i saw a guy in front of a girl doing the curtsey emote and the girl was doing the shy emote it was gross and then I left the game and people also make fun of how people dress up theres these players that dress up as goths and they're called slenders people make a lot of games called "favourite if you hate slenders" "or "kill the slenders" and they get a lot of support and they call the people with default outfits "bacons' (beacuse their hair looks like bacon and kawaii characters "barbies" i took a screen shot playing that game but i cant show beacuse it wont let me show screenshots and also to top all of that off roblox doesent care about they're players when I was trying to get my alt account back I messaged them I was so excited to get my account back and then they blocked my email and and I've seen a lot reviews complaining about robux which is an in game currency that you can only get from spending real life money or competing in a give away with tons of people and the game is so TOXIC I BECAME ADDICTED TO THE GAME AND FOR GOT TO SPELL SIMPLE WORDS my sister has an account and probably gonna delete it

At first it seems fun but once you get more familiar with it, you realize how sad it all actually is. Roblox doesn't care about anyone's opinion. Every update just makes it all worse. They are literally sucking the money from KIDS. I recently made my own group and once something started to happen, they announced about "new update" so basically you have to pay now 50 robux for uploading the item and 50 robux to put it on sale... excuse me? Do you all realize that small groups don't make as much money as big groups like Aesthetic Vibe? And it's literally impossible to pay off or moreover earn something from designing. But of course why would they care when it comes to money? Huh? Never enough? Moving on to exploiting and hacking. Exploiting in a game is a one thing, yes it's annoying sometimes and should be banned, but hacking is completely different! Hackers can just log in to your account with no problem and the "2 step verification " or " pin" NOTHING WILL HELP YOU! If they target you, then you're dead and if you have limited items which are REALLY hard to get, you will just lose everything. Once you email roblox support, they might help if it's all about small amounts of robux like lower than 100 000 rap but if you had more, oh god don't even try, roblox team won't even bother to help you. But why are we even surprised? We all know how hungry roblox is for money. Moving on to safe chat, ok I get the major part but please someone explain me what's wrong with numbers? Huh? If you're under 13 then you're not allowed to say or know numbers? What kind of a brain dead monkey came up with that rule? So in the end ROBLOX TEAM IS RUINING EVERYTHING AND ROBLOX IS ONLY FUN BECAUSE OF OTHER PEOPLE WHO CREATE GAMES, UGC, DESIGNS, GROUPS AND ETC... ROBLOX TEAM HAS NO IDEA WHAT "FUN" MEANS AND I HOPE EVERYONE STOPS PLAYING SO YALL FINALLY REALIZE AND START USING YOUR BRAIN.

WHY AM I BANNED FOR 1 DAY?! THATS THE DUMBEST THING THAT HAPPED TO ME IN ROBLOX LIKE WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?!

As a long-time player of Roblox, I can't help but express my immense disappointment with the direction the game has taken in 2023. The updates aimed at modernizing the look of Roblox have left many veterans and new players feeling unheard and unvalued in the changes and updates that are being implemented.

First and foremost, the new default character faces and avatars are nothing short of hideous. They bear an uncanny resemblance to characters from a dating sim game rather than the iconic blocky style that once powered kids' imaginations to build and create beautiful things. Roblox was meant to be a unique and creative platform, not a shallow imitation of other online games that prioritize appearance over substance.

To add insult to injury, the removal of classic faces and other beloved items from the catalog sends a clear message that Roblox is ashamed of its own roots. But for us, the players, those classic elements are what made Roblox special and nostalgic. We don't view the classic era as something to be abandoned, but rather cherished and continued for decades to come.

The decision to overlook the opinions and preferences of loyal players in favor of arbitrary changes is disheartening. Roblox used to be a place where players could shape the game's future through their feedback and contributions. Now, it seems that the developers have lost sight of the very essence of the community-driven platform that made Roblox great in the first place.

The once-thriving hub of creativity and innovation is now being overshadowed by misguided attempts to appeal to a wider audience. In doing so, Roblox is sacrificing its authenticity and unique charm. The constant emphasis on flashy visuals and superficial elements takes away from the joy of creation that we, as players, used to cherish.

In conclusion, the changes and updates made to Roblox in 2023 have left many of us feeling alienated and disheartened. The shift towards a more generic and visually-driven experience undermines the very foundation of what made Roblox special. As players who have invested countless hours into this platform, we deserve better than this neglect of our opinions and desires. Roblox should refocus on its roots and listen to its community if it truly wants to recapture the magic it once had. Otherwise, it risks losing the very players who have kept it alive for all these years.

Ive been playing roblox since 2013, its a pretty neat game. Theres many children on here giving the game bad reviews, some because they fall into the pit of a youtuber called "greenlegocats123", who only uses scare tactics to get kids to spread lies. Anyways, the games very fun to play with friends. Many games to play on the site, some are good, some i dont like. Many people say these bulls** lies about "OnLiNe DAtErS" which sounds bad until you realize its just little kids wanting virtual girlfriends to seem cool. There is people on the game who take it seriously, with something called "roleplaying" (like acting in a play but in a virtual game/other platform with other people). I recommend monitoring your kid on the site to see what they are doing, thats the number one flaw with parents and this site, they dont bother to monitor their kids to see if what they are playing/doing on the site is good. There isnt really blood and gore, its a kids game but some games can be a lil violent but nothing should be mature rating on a video game type experience. There are annoying people, but you can block them or mute them in chat by doing "/mute [insert username here]". There are scams on this website like "GET FREE ROBUX" (robux being the currency used on the site), they ask you for your password or they ask you to go on a suspicious website, dont let your kid fall for these, its an easy way to get your account stolen. Sometimes you may come into contact with people called "Exploiters" or "Hackers", these people use cheating engines to put custom code into the game, sometimes harmful, sometimes just giving them an unfair advantage. They are being cracked down on nowadays. Moderation has always been an issue on the site, with a big playerbase you cant have 24/7 moderation for a huge site like roblox, dont expect fast replies from the costumer service.

1: chat filter. Beware, you cant say any number, dont even think about a curse or you'll be served that hard BAN and definitely definitely do not think about saying the phrase "what the frick" or any variation, because god knows what that will do to an innocent child's mind!
2. they dont ban hackers, but they do ban little Timmy when he told his role play girlfwiend that he loved her.
3. i know this shouldn't have to be said cause its a kids game and all, but holy $#*! this game is so full of annoying 8 year old's asking for free robux, and even more annoying scammers offering "free robux"
4. Bad community, this game has one of the most toxic communities ive ever seen AND THEY HAVE A CHAT FILTER THAT BLOCKS NUMBERS! How are you toxic without being able to use numbers, much less swears or insults? The obvious ones are the hackers that run rampant in every game, next is people that find easy ways around this chat filter to use those words, and 3, the YouTubers... roblox YouTubers are some of the scummiest people ive seen on YouTube, ranging from fake giveaways to STEALING FANS'S ACCOUNTS!
5. terrible admins... there are literally groups of hackers stealing accounts daily and roblox sleeps, i call someone a poopyhead and i get a 7 day suspension... hmmmmmmmmmmm

We have had Roblox for the summer of 2020 since May. We and our friends have had mostly trouble.
My child is educated on internet safety and she has reported many things to me as she and her friends come across it. I've also witnessed various con's and pro's.
One of the main issues is with the company and it's handling of those who violate their guidelines/rules. There are many groups that openly bully and admit it yet still are in the games and play often. There are hackers and scammers too that can stay and are only banned from certain games.
The game does an ok job of concealing bad language with hashtags over the offensive words however there are ways to get around this.
You must do a few housekeeping tasks to ensure you are safe from not only certain players but the company itself.
Make sure your children have some education on internet safety.
Make sure you READ all the policies there are many and several circle around to the companies benefit with no recourse but appeal which is usually denied. They stick to the policies with no exceptions. This is good but the individual situations are not reviewed beyond the complaint and the company text.
I've witnessed several bullying situations with my child, her friends and others in the game. There have been comments and actions that are not appropriate for kids at all.
Keep an eye on which games you enter as well. There are some instances of being taken to a private room for in appropriate behavior.
Supervise your children at first and guide them to the safer games (servers). Many are private and are governed by those who create them.
There are ads from various companies. There are also Robux which kids need to get certain things and are often encouraged to buy. You pay a certain amount of money to receive Robux. Kids can earn game money when they do certain tasks or when a pretend check pops up and they click on it. This will only "buy" certain things. For the bigger or more prized items like potions and certain clothes, pets, transportation etc. You must use a credit card to purchase Robux.
My general advice is that the games are more suited toward teens and older. If you have a younger child on be sure to supervise them and watch what they are doing. Be sure they are learning the right things.
