I placed an order and was giving a delivery date. Since I didn't receive the order after a week or two I called and was told the rug was back ordered with no known date. Rugs USA never bothered to notify me that the rug was unavailable. They did refund my money promptly

It is completely normal for rug pads to be seen past the edge of your rug when you first put it down. Our rug pads are meant to be trimmed to perfectly fit underneath your area rug.

We suggest taking the following steps to get the perfect trim:

1. Pick the perfect spot for your area rug!
2. Lay your rug pad down where you'd like your area rug
3. Lay your area rug on top of your rug pad
4. If possible, leave your rug pad and area rug out for about 24-48 hours to allow all of the creases to relax before trimming
5. Once the creases have relaxed, use fabric scissors to vertically & horizontally trim your rug pad.
6. Vacuum the rug to remove any air-bubbles from trimming the rug pad
7. Place your furniture back in place and enjoy your new area rug!

I ordered a black rug on Dec. 31st 2019 and was sent a white rug with a completely different pattern a couple of weeks later. They said they would refund me when the rug was returned. After A LOT of discussion about how I would return a 9 x 12ft rug, They said they set up a return pick up via FedEx. So we've stayed home TWO days now to be there for FedEx to pick it up and both times FedEx reschedule with RugsUSA and they never told us. They refuse to refund me the money even though I never received the rug I ordered, this is the worst online shopping experience I've ever had, I can't even count the number of phone calls and emails I've sent with no resolution and often no response at all. DO NOT ORDER FROM RUGSUSA!

Ordered Sept 11, email confirmation estimated delivery to be by September 28 but would be updated once order was picked up by carrier. I checked the status of my order after a week and about every other day after that and there was never an update on delivery. I called RugsUSA Customer Service and was told she could not see any updates either, advised me to "wait and see" if it's delivered on the 28th. It wasn't. I called back and was told my rug was lost but they were happy to order me another at no charge. They cancelled my first order and sent me a confirmation with the new order number and gave me 15% refund to my cc for "inconvenience". The next rug was delivered within a few days. Then about a week later the first rug arrived. When I called customer service to let them know, the rep said I'm sorry you're not happy with your purchase, print out the return label I email to you and take it to FedEx location. She didn't take the time to understand my issue. I told her I love the rug but don't need 2, and I am not going to be able to lift it to take it anywhere. She insisted I had to, but finally relented and said FedEx would come to pick it up in 2 days. My son had to come over to move it for me. FedEx has 30 mins left to pick it up. Happy they sent another rug so quickly, but I specifically ordered it more than 2 weeks before I needed it, only to not have it in time.

They did not seem to understand my issue

Totally trusted Rugs USA reviews based off what I saw from their Instagram account which I now realize was all lies and clearly they give away free rugs for positive reviews from influencers. I've never seen an actual person leave a review or comment on their posts. And I myself left a negative comment which of course was deleted by them promptly. I bought a rug 2wks ago which arrived damaged in the packaging and the rug is completely warped and bended and bumpy. I've tried lying heavy objects on top of it to help flatten it out to no avail. It's been 2wks and their customer service said to wait 3wks for it to flatten out which is convenient as my return window ends at that time. They don't offer any exchanges or replacements for the defective items they ship to customers and we have to pay shipping to return the item. What a rip off! It's a 8x11 rug so it's huge, I should not have to pay shipping which was not my fault they shipped me a bad warpes item I can't use. Make sure you read the countless poor reviews of them on BBB. Wish I had prior to buying from them.

Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time or money buying from rugs USA and just go to a well known site who values their customers and reputation

Do not buy from this company! They canceled my order because they could not fill the order and they won't refund me my money!

I ordered 3 runners, I waited 2 weeks and called the company because I received no shipping notification. I waited over an hour on hold and finally hung up. The next day I spoke to someone who said he would have to call the warehouse to see if the items were available. He never called me back. Two days later I called them again. I was told that the items would have to be cancelled because they could not fill the order. I was so bummed but said okay I understand. I also explained that no where did it say that the items were back ordered and I explained it was still on their website for others to buy... by the way, they are still listed for sale, they were never removed from their website, so people can still buy these items that they don't actually have. I was told the $221 would be credited back to my credit card but it takes 5 to 7 business days. 2 weeks passed and nothing was credited back. So I call. They told me this time that they would actually send me a check in the mail and that I would have it in 5 to 7 business days. I never received anything. So I called again on 9/22 to see where my money was. They tell me the check was cut on 9/11 but that they don't know when they can mail the check! Excuse me, what? You have my money! They cancel my order and won't give me my refund! I just filed a claim with my credit card company! Please don't buy from the company! I never received my order and I never received my money back!

This company is a scam! I tried leaving a review on the website and they would not let me so I'm leaving the review here.
Never received my order!
Do not buy from this company! I ordered this rug April 24 and still have not received it! I was told the rug was on back order and would come in April 30th. April 30th came and still no tracking information so I waited and called, I was told to wait 3-5 business days. I waited a week and half still no response. I called again was told the warehouse had just received a huge shipment of these rugs and would ship as soon as possible Still nothing! I called again spoke with a woman she said she would talk to warehouse and call me back. She never called me back and still no rug. I called another time after that and then called today May 26th and was told that my rug was sent to Fed Ex and Fed Ex reporter it was damaged so it was returned and now they are saying I need to wait until July! For the next shipment! This company has the worst customer service and lies. They still have not refunded my money! I do not recommend buying this rug as they are showing it's available when it's not!

My true and experience is a very bad quality rugs and poor customer service. If you buy a rug, you lost your money.
I bought the wool rug. The rug lost so much wool, and continiue to lost. In the room is dirty. My son have a heavy breath.
But the customer service didn't help me. It' deceitful company. You may to see, that you can to write a tue about a rugs on Rugs USA Facebook page, they accepted only 5 stars reviews. People lost money with this company.

Note: I received an email from Rug USA today. It's below. This email means - no any warranties, you buy "cat in a bag". Safe your money, don't buy in Rugs USA.
