No matter where you go, if the store is linked to Walmart, you get Walmart treatment. Never enough people at the register. Clothing, etc just thrown together. This is so crazy.
1- I have ordered a Casper essentials mattress from Sam's Club online on Aug 16th 2021
2- it is supposed to arrive on Aug 23rd
3- till now Aug 27th the item have not arrived
4- I spoke to countless customer service representatives and 3 different supervisors, also I drove to the Sam"s club near me and they spent an hour on the line with no results.
5- every time I speak to customer service representatives or supervisors, they act like I have never called before and they ignore the history of the case.
6- the customer support is outsourced to the Philippines, half the time I could not under stand what the customer representative is saying
7- no one in 5 days have been able to contact the vendor "Casper" which is redisclose, so basically no one knows when the item will be shipped if ever.
This is by far my worst shopping experience I have had online or otherwise, I hope somebody is reading theses reviews.
I am not surprised Sam's club and Walmart don't have any one in America to talk to me about my membership and they have NOT sent me my $20.00 gift card to the address I have on file, you claim it can only be sent by email ONLY well you need to get what I said above
I have been a Sam's club member since 1998 and have always purchased gas from the gas station there with no problem. But here recently they have started holding up to $100 on my debit card when I purchase gas and for FIVE DAYS! Now, get this, my fill up cost $41. They got the $41 and still kept the hold on the$100 for five days. A TOTAL OF $141! I DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO MY$100 FOR FIVE DAYS. This has happened 3 times now. It has caused me to have a NEGATIVE BALANCE TWICE! I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SPOKE WITH SOMEONE WHO COULDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH WELL SO THEY COULD NOT HELP ME. WHEN IT COMES TO SAM'S CLUB; I HAVE A FORK STUCK IN ME! I'M DONE WITH SAM'S CLUB!
TERRIBLE SERVICE: Ordered Christmas cards from Sams Photo Nov. After 1 week received an email, sorry about your order, have 25 free prints. Nothing more. Status online said order received. Finally called Sams. They said order not processed will resorder. After a while they said, can not reorder. Did not offer refund... Asked for a refund, said unable to issue a refund. Will send gift card. THATS CRAP, Order mot process, did not inform me, customer said problems can not reorder. Can Not Refund to Credit Card... WHAT A BRUNCH OF CUSTOMER SERVICE CRAP. Another reason to drop my Sam Membership! Now have to order from COSTCO..
HORRIBLE is a kind review! Can not get a U.S. based person on the phone, called customer service number 3 TIMES, total of 2:52 minutes and got disconnected ALL # TIMES! Because they have no clue how to respond. Issue= searched robot vacuum online, in the search bar drop down recommended box is the Shark Item # ******* Shark IQ Robot Self-Empty XL UR1005AE, Robot Vacuum, IQ Navigation, Wi‐Fi with a price of $299.91. Click on it to purchase and NOW THE PRICE is $441.98. Thought is might reset in cart but NO, it's still $150.00 higher. If THAT is not " bait and switch" I'll eat my hat. It is much easier to get Biden or Trump on the phone that to get the local Sam's to even ANSWER THE PHONE! Tried 5 times. They are 50 minute travel time one way. Talking to CUSTOMER NON-SERVICE is frustrating and a joke! I wish there was a way to give MINUS 5 stars, they deserve it! Will be canceling my plus membership after 20+ years. BEWARE
Save your money... go someplace else. First of all their employees are thieves. Several times my online information was stolen by their employees who went on shopping sprees in their own stores. Luckily my credit card company took card of me cause Sam's told me it was their problem and I could goo $#*! my self. The second time this happened Sam's canceled my membership without consulting me. The last couple years I had a $100 plus membership so I could go in early to avoid crowds. This would have come in handy with the covid 19 outbreak but for the first 3 weeks they just let everyone in so that they could sell more. Then they completely eliminated the plus membership benefits of early hours. So you paid an extra $70 f pr no reason. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back. Too bad they dont honor it. In the countries time of need they put profiteering above their members safety so they could make as much profit as possible regardless of the safety of th hd people who shop there.

Worst customer service ever. Manager was horrible. Made an online purchase of the Backyard Discovery Gazebo because it was on sale and had an extra $200 instant saving. So, since we were saving $400, we opted for the installation with free delivery. They delivered 3 weeks later and informed us the installers were of a different company and would contact me. They advised me it may be up to 2 weeks. Really? So anyway, no call and I finally called the company and they said they didn't have a request order from Sam's. So back on the phone, after long holds and disconnects, finally spoke to someone. They stated I didn't purchase the assembly and installation package! After back and forth, finally getting a rude a** manager, he said no pictures, no help! The invoice did not have the prices broken down, only the total price. Now I'm stuck with an $1834 pile of sticks laying in my yard. SO, I advise anyone that purchases anything from Sam's Online, to SCREENSHOT EVERY SINGLE STEP OF YOUR PURCHASE! I will never make another online purchase from Sam's. Ever.
I placed an order and the total was not deducted feom my account. Instead 5 separate transactions were taken from my account and 2 of the transactions were taken in and out of my account 4 times with in a 2 week period. Item was ordered 12/19 with a delivery fee of $157 and a delivery date of 1/4/22. January 6 2022, no updates had been given in the app or website about where my ordered item was. I canceled the order at 11pm on 1/6/22. Now today, 1/9/22 I have been charged again. Online doesn't provide phone number only chat. And the chat agent was rude and just kept telling me she couldn't cancel my order until she got ahold of the shipper and canceled the shipment. I told her to process my order cancelation and deal with that on company time not mine because she had me on hold for 40 minutes to cancel my order and still never did. I will NEVER shop with samsclub again in my life.
After 28 years as a Sam's club member, its time to walk away. First of all, Sam's is only intrrested in upselling to a premiem membership. Noe retired, there is novreason for anything other than a basic membership and frankly retirees shoukd get free store shipping. Not Sam's, lets not consider the elderly! Recently they started limiting the number of people in the store and their inventory is gone, once again buy your items online snd pay shipping. They are not thinking about loyal customers, only upselling to their plus mrmbership. Thr quality of their members mark products hss gotten horrible. I use to buy Haines boxers, now replaced with members mark. The quality is so poor I had to throw 2 pair away after the waist elastic separated from the short after the first use. They were not fully stitched.
Bitter angry management and coworkers and cheap as hell. No discounts or even simply we appreciate you once in a while. Steer clear from Folsom and Roseville locations.
Sam's club is a bad company they don't care what you are doing and they don't help. My friend was doing things for his job and taking a video of the product he was getting and the manager yelled at him and said he was filming their faces when he wasn't and they took his membership and put their HANDS ON HIM and escorted him and they said they don't allow filming but there was more than one other person filming my friend. So I will be contacting Sam's club themselves and we're going to get them because they had NO RIGHT TO PUT HANDS ON HIM. This is the worst food bulk place to go people go to any other one because at least they treat you with respect. Sam's club is totally disrespectful and it's just totally filthy and like I said nobody knows how to do their job there it seems. They need to be put out of business.
Worst service experience ever
Review is more for sams club than it is the swing set, as we have not even been able to put it together yet. After receiving an email almost 3 weeks ago that my order has shipped, I finally called customer care to check on the status. After being placed on hold multiple times, I was told that the freight company did not have the right tracking number and that they would contact me to get it corrected. They did call two days later. After calling, they said that it would be here the following week and I told them I would have somebody at the house each day to receive the order. They never showed up. I had to call again on Monday and was told "sorry" but they had no further explanation. They sent the delivery the next day... it arrived with three main pieces cracked and broken off. I called sams club and was placed on hold for 63 minutes with someone periodically checking in to see if I was still on the line. After over an hour, a "supervisor" got on the line and asked "what's going on?" He was incredibly non apologetic and said "I'll have someone contact you in 24-48 hours". Seriously? I waited over an hour to hear someone would call me back on two days? When I asked how long before he anticipated new, non broken pieces would arrive he simply stated he couldn't answer that. This was supposed to be a great gift for my daughter and it has been nothing but a headache with the service. Hopefully she'll have a swing set to play with before winter is here again. I will definitely be canceling my membership after this is resolved... if it ever gets resolved.
I bought a package of ground beef at Sam's on Orange blossom trail the ground beef look good the outside look red and nourishing and fresh when I took it home to separated into divided to freeze it the whole inside was just Brown to the point it was gross and I didn't even want to eat it because I don't know how long that ground beef has been there they had to put fresh ground beef on top of the old ground beef to make it look good but it wasn't good the inside was gross so gross to the point to where I did not mind losing the money that I spent on the ground beef because I didn't want to feed it to my family as you can see the attached photo will show you exactly what I'm talkin about check out the edges and the top this is where I broke it down to freeze it to make meals
Awhile back I did a review on BJ's wholesale ware house. Well Sam's club is very much like BJ's. There are some differences in the stock they carry. Sam's has a great electronics department and good deals on appliances. The have bulk items just as BJ's does but both have there own inventory. Sometimes what you can't find at BJ's, Sam's may have and vice versa. I love going to the clubs because I save on food items that come in bulk. I know everyone cannot have food shipped because it may spoil. But the non perishable items are worth getting. A few times I bought 5lb tubs of soap powder that lasted for months. I have looked at flat screen tv's when they first came out and found a 27 inch Sony for my bedroom that I love. The price at Sam's was $150.00 cheaper than a regular store like Circuit City, Sears, and Target. I shop around for deals all the time. These warehouses can offer things at a very low price because they buy in bulk. I hope this helps people to save money. They are very fare if you don't like something and will return it with ease. The membership for the year is worth the savings. I know that all people can't visit the store but I have shopped with both online and the orders arrived when they said they would. Before placing any order they will let you know if something is out of stock and if they will get it back again. They will supply a date of arrival for an item you may want. I ordered a case of frozen lobster tails by using Sam's app in Sugar Land. TX. I asked my brother to pick up it in Secaucus, NJ for a upcoming party. After I made the order and got the confirmation #, I kept waiting for another email to confirm the item is ready to pick up as order procedure indicated. However I never received any email or text message from Sam's club. When the pick up time was approaching, my brother called local Sam's customer center and check if the item was ready to pick up. To his surprise, he was told the order was canceled by me. However, I never cancel my order! I contact Sam's customer service center and they forwarded my call to NJ Secaucus Center, after I said that I wanted to check my order status and telling them that I never cancel my order. I was hanged up by the service agent. It really didn't make any sense. If the item was sold out, just directly told me so. Don't play tricks saying that I have cancel it already! I am very disappointed with such poor service (both online and in store pick up). If Sam's Club can't handle online order, just don't do it! Besides, customer service in Secaucus is very rude and unprofessional.

After my membership expired Sams Club took 45.00 without my consent out of my checking account. This was the first time this ever happened. Usually in the past when my membership expired that would be it. I contacted the 800 number about refunding that 45.00 back into my checking. They give you an option of having it on a gift card to where you can use it at walmart or sams. I told them I want it back in my checking where it belongs. They said it would take 8-10 days for it to return to my checking. Or I could go to the store and get it same day. I told them to go ahead and refund it. Over 10 days later and nothing. No refund entered back into my checking. So I called again. Told the lady and she transfers me yet I get hung up. I called back and she said sorry about the call getting hung up. I said no you're not. She then transfers me to sams credit services. She knew I used a debit card and not a sams card. The lady at the credit company transfered me back and this time got a male rep. He gave me the same song and dance. I told him I still want the refund back in my checking. Now I sit and wait. I will no longer deal with Sams Club. They steal your money and are jerks about returning it. They had no business taking it out. Unless I consented first. Be aware!
Waste of time not worth the few cents you save at the gas pump. Worst gas line setup ever. People cutting line and jumping in front of you and no one there to control traffic.
