I realized on Saturday, 2 April 2022, the my credit card had been used fraudulently at Sams.com. I froze the card so it couldn't be used any more. I called a Sam's Club customer service person and advised them of what was going on and see if they could help. They asked for my membership number and the order number for the different orders. There were 7 all on the same day totaling almost $300.00. They asked several more times for my membership number. I kept telling them that I wasn't a member. She ended up telling me that because I wasn't a member they couldn't help me.

Love Sam's Club.It is a lot like Costco but has different items on sale. The variety is great. It's always clean. My only regret is that we do not have a Sam's Club in Carson City, Nv. Where we live.

Good customer service
December 4, 2021

Just want to state my experience at sams club in Newport News. Placed an online order for pick up 4hrs upon arrival. Arrived at sams club and my order wasn't ready. Decided to wait in my vehicle for over 30min. Order still wasn't prepared. I asked a Employee by the name of Christian which was busy helping others. He said he would check on it for me. He did. Yet the order wasn't prepared. Another 10min in my vehicle waiting. He walked out with my order. I was very grateful for his service. He went over and beyond for my order. Christian represents a good employee. I really appreciate the good service.

We're not a large family, but find more than enough value to justify the club membership. Prescriptions are a great deal. Love the seasonal offerings.

Gas pumps are terrible
November 7, 2021

Half of the gas pumps don't work and the attendants are not helpful. At times it takes 15-20 to get gas at the Sam's Club gas station in Daytona Beach Florida! I hate going there.

I leave bad reviews only when needed. The cinnamon bottle used to be full! Almost not fitting. Now is just not smaller but also is not full. Places like sams should pay attention to quality.

Got a $100 automatic renewal fee for a membership and we have not used Sam's Club for at least 2 years. Called 3-6-19, cancelled the membership and was told that nothing more needed to be done. In April I got a statement from Synchronicity Bank (Sam's Club Card) still showing the $100 due. Tried their phone number and, after 80 minutes on hold, decided to go in the store to the customer center. The clerk there assured me that they could see a zero balance showing on their system and that I should wait until the May statement and contact them if it still showed a balance. On 4-28-2019 a past due amount of $28 was put on my credit report by Synchronicity Bank dropping my score from 814 to 722! Cancelled the card and contacted the bank on the phone. Apologies, etc. but damage is done. Promised me that I would get a letter stating that there is no amount due and that they will reverse the report to the credit bureaus but that will not happen until May 26 as that is the next time they report. Will never go there again!

I have been going to Sam's in Loveland Colorado for 20 years and have been very happy with it. Over the last 2 months I have been in the store 3 or 4 times and each time I see more and more customers without masks. Colorado has a state wide mandate and Sam's is clearly not doing that. I asked why and was told because a couple of people got upset. So Sam's thinks it's okay to endanger the customers who adhere to the mandate. They obviously don't care if they're customers or employees get sick because of a few selfish people. I really don't want to go somewhere else but I may have to. Sam's is being morally wrong in putting people at risk. It's a state wide mandate and they have just decided they will not comply. What does that say about their company. Think twice about putting yourself at risk by going to Sam's club Loveland Colorado. Sam's doesn't realize the mandate is not up for discussion. It is not a suggestion, they don't have a choice, they are required to do it. Why do they think it doesn't apply to them.
