Never enough cashiers to check everyone out. Pric s confusing due to not labeling containers. Have to buy somethings in too large of full.
I recently went to Sam's Club like I have for many years at the Roseville, California location to purchase some items. I picked up my items and then went threw the checkout line and handed my receipt to the employee at the exit area. That is when he noticed that the checker had not rung up all the items in my cart. So he referred me to what was suppose to be customer service (which Sam's club has none of!) I told the lady working there that there was an error and that I needed the items refunded and the all the items to be rung up again. So, she tells me that she can only ring up the two items that were not on my receipt. I told her to refund the total order and she refused at first but did it. Then she walked away after the refund and refused to ring my items back up until I told her it needed to be done. She finally completed the transaction and I asked for the manager and she called her up.
I explained the situation to the manager and she nodded her head and then said, 'So what's the problem, you have your items correct"? I told her that her employees have not manners nor do they care about the customers. She stood there looking at me with a blank look. So I told her that I was going to write this up online and let everyone know how Sam's club treats their customers. To which she replied, "Super"!
This is the kind of service that you will receive at the Sam's Club in Roseville, California and I recommend that you do not do business with them if you can avoid it. They do not have good employees working there and the they could care less about their customers or how they treat them. They want your money and for you to get the hell out of their store. Sam's club has lost a customer for life!
My mom got me a gaming pc and i have been using it like crazy. Thank you so much for the x box game pass gift card as well.
They renew my membership and automatically sign me up for plus that is stealing. Very upset … not good business
Gas pump broken, horrible customer service, terrible quality. Everything is filled with gmo's. Also, has a very small selection of alcohol.
They will hold 100 dollars from your credit card for 12 dollar worth of gas. I'll stick with Costco.
10 year Plus member here- individual membership not a business member. My 3 stars is my average score based on 5 stars for the products I buy and 1 star (zero is probably more accurate) for customer service.
CONS: Customer service is non existant-period- and this is a fact but that's ok with me. I generally know exactly where everything is so I run in and out with usually less than 10 items in about 20 minutes. I've tried buying tires here before and it was futile. Trust me, even if you can save a few buck on tires at Sam's go elsewhere. There is no direct phone number to the tire department, enough said. This "club" is not for an individual. If you don't have at least a family of 3 or 4 don't bother buying a membership. Because everything's sold in bulk it's simply not practical. Lastly, please do not buy a membership for grandma and/or grandpa. The chaotic atmosphere and parking lot WILL be overwhelming.
PROS: I have roughly 20 staple items I buy throughout the year and the prices are far and away better than the competition. Gas is almost always. 10-. 20 cheaper than nearby local gas stations. Early shopping hours (7AM as opposed to 10AM) for Plus members. This is huge for me because the area where this particular Sam's is located is generally extremely busy, a "zoo" unless you get here before 10AM. Free shipping for Plus members. I also use the optical department and the prices with my insurance are fantastic, never had a problem with this department. Because Sam's offers cash back bonuses I haven't paid full membership cost in years. Typically I earn $30-50/yr which I apply directly to my yearly membership fee. Sam's is an extremely clean and organized "warehouse" store.
BOTTOM LINE: I consider going to Sam's Club a "job", something I have to do. I recommend a little meditation and some deep breathes before entering. This is not pleasure shopping. If you're anti-social, have tunnel vision, aren't claustrophobic, hate change, enjoy power walking, don't mind buying in bulk and can handle basic math skills to price shop and compare (because everything here isn't a deal) then a Sam's Club Plus membership may be for you.
When these people don't want to help or provide an answer, they'll just leave you sitting in chat by yourself and if they happen to get you again, they'll leave again! WTF?! YOU PEOPLE SUCK!
I have been a member for 6years and lately just started noticing the very unfriendly atmosphere in my local club #******* LBJ fwy Dallas Texas. I guess they promoted a very rude associate to club manager position. Customer service here is horrible, they talk like they are doing you a favour. August 30th around 9.45am, while I was scanning at self check out, a male associate cuts infront of me and the computer screen, standing less than 2ft away from me and said; "stop scanning and leave the store". I was taken aback and asked why? He repeated his rude remark and added "because you are not a plus member". I promptly told him "that was very rude, he could have started with either a hi or good morning and should go get his supervisor". I informed them about his rude behavior when he brought the supervisor & club manager. The manager did not address the rude behavior but went on to tell me that "they have a new policy of not allowing non plus members to shop early and if I don't like it, i should get a refund of my membership fees and purchases". I called their customer care to complain, I was given a reference # & nothing was done. I guess if I had recorded this experience on my phone for others to see on SM it will get their attention. Spare yourself the horrible experience and shop elsewhere not at this store. To be fair to the organization, some other clubs are not like this one. I have received better services in the Plano club. The services offered at Sam's club is not worth $50 & $100 annual membership fee they charge. A 1star rating is being generous
Answer: Sams club has no customer service. Costco is the way to go
Answer: Always clean store. Staff courteous and helpful. Areas stocked items easy to find fast checkout. Whole atmosphere is awesome. No screaming kids
Answer: Call the local store speak to Store Manager who will identify the problem
Answer: IN the store - no problem, it was correct answer. If you are not, try to chat. You can wait a little - not too long, however, you will get help from an associate.
