I went in there today to get my favorite delli food. It straight up nasty. Actually got food poisoning from the chicken salad I always buy. High price already for something u can make at home. Teach ur employees to wear gloves and keep Thier hands clean. The staff is rude as hell. Non existent manager at the Southaven branch. Him or her is never to been seen
Fell at store in Waterloo iowa and they blame me for not cleaning up their mess. Have to have surgery on knee and should be held accountable. What a joke cancelling membership and getting family and friends to cancel as well, and Walmart too. I would rather shop at Target. They should pay for my surgery!
The Sam's club I use has now stopped letting the customers use the empty boxes to carry out their purchases. Apparently, the fraction of a penny they can get from the recyclers for the cardboard is more important than the customers convenience. This is pure greed. When my membership expires I will be changing to Costco.
I bought an item online. It is not available for pick up.
I was charge for delivery.
It was delivered a week before.
I was not informed.
I have a smart home.
I could open the garage if the delivery person push the door bell.
I could talk to him or her.
Instead they choose to leave the packages in the front.
I got home to find them completely wet.
It is raining every day here in Florida.
I try to chat. To get answers. The product could be ruined.
After 15 minutes waiting. She chat with me for a few minutes. The woman said she had to go.
I tried to chat again. And again after 20 minutes waiting. I got disconnected.
Terrible customer service
Over the last 12 to 18 months Sam's Club has been squeezing it's customers, a bit at a time. Fewer hours, increasing club membership by more than 100% in my case. I "had" a business membership, which no longer exists. To get the same benefits the annual cost went from about $50/year to more than $100/year. Selection and product choices are disappearing, parking is now a nightmare as the clubs cater to the curbside service customers leaving the majority out in the cold, literally. My local club is now in the process of "remodeling"-- AGAIN-- which means finding products is a nightmare. Like so many other corps they insist on fixing things that aren't broken.
Sam's doesn't work for me because I'm a single man. And even if I wasn't single, I would not pay a fee to purchase from them. To me, that defeats the purpose of a so called discount. I feel this way about any membership fee store - including Amazon. I have been in Sam's club and I don't think their prices are cheap. You could do just as well, or better, by Internet comparative shopping. However, it may work for those who "want it NOW"
Sam's Club was gone from having a good variety of products and replacing them one by one with lesser quality member mark brand. You don't have to be Costco! Bring back the good deli meats and cheese, meatballs, turkey pastrami, sausages, pepperonis, fried rice and dozens of other products everyone loved but now can't get. Please put the quality and member first otherwise there is little benefit in having this membership.
Got new tires, next day, pucture brand new tire, drop off blown tire at sams, guy says"none in stock, got to order one". 3 days later, oops, wrong tire, order another. A week has passed now, your tire is ready that will be $21 for install. We can put it in the trunk for you, since you brought it in! So there I am in their parking lot changing the tire myself, at 20 degrees, looking into the warm garage, with an empty lift, and 3 tire guys watching me. Was I supposed to drive the flat tire a hundred miles, rent a car for a week or what
Suddenly my membership card did not work on check out. I was told it expired. The renewal was sent six weeks prior. I came home an started a two hour process going through six representatives and who knows how many departments. I noticed only one rep spoke English as a primary language and communication was a problem. I have been a business customer for thirty-one years. I suggested to #6 he might activate my membership for a month while we find out why my renewal had not been. He had to take that idea to a supervisor for eventual approval. Suddenly, BJ's and Costcos are looking better. Sam would be ashamed.
Had a guy from Guatemala as a customer service rep. Young (early 20s), sweet, friendly. Can't get any better. Problem was resolved ASAP. No problems whatsoever with Sam's Club or their customer service. Five Stars
On Aug 24,2021, I order a Westinghouse 12KW generator at a good price. I requested it to be shipped to a friend on the Miss Gulf Coast in anticipation of an upcoming hurricane. I wanted to be sure he had backup power when I went to visit him. The delivery was to take place Sept 17. Fortunately the hurricane and the following tropical storm did not affect his area too severely. I check on the lack of delivery and found out that the order had been cancelled without an explanation. After going around with unresponsive staff reps, SAM's said all I could do is re-order, no apology, explanation, or regrets. I'm cancelling my membership.
Be careful! They are dishonest. I purchased a very large quantity (over $*******) of items. Two of the pallets of goods had expiration dates that were weeks away. I explained that this was for export out of the country and by the time it gets to the destination it would be old. I asked them to change it for newer expiration date. They were so RUDE! They told us that was not their problem and feel free to call our lawyers because they get dozens of letters from lawyers daily! This is incredible that they don't care and that they seem to be proud of their rotten and deceitful service. I will NEVER use them again. I have lost over $3500.
I'm a customer who's spoken (within a week) to 3 customer service members, chatted online with 3 reps, and has had 3 Sam's Club supervisors call me back to all apologize and still did not have my order delivered... it's ridiculous. Empty apologies and gift cards are not the answer. I will be suspending all orders, business and personal moving forward. Sad excuse for a business. My local store is the Sunrise/ Sawgrass location and would love a "trained" supervisor to reach out. Thanks
This company thinks they are smarter and thinks can get away with it. Of it that way. They keep replacing good stuff with more cheaper generic branded stuff and acting like nobody is going to notice it or is suppose to. Where is the dark Romaine green in this salad? I see the worthless root and brown tips on chopped ends. They used to have a bigger bad with bigger sauce bag and dark green leafs. But it got too good to keep around. Place is like the Colorado Rockies. Once you get too good they get rid of you. Place is getting worse by the day. How do they do it and get away with it? Blind baseless Tolerance. What else? Bottom of the barrel shopping Can do better with free membership at Walmart itself. Why pay for one here and get worse service?
More items out of stock lately than even during the pandemic. Not consistent with inventory. I've only been a member for 4years, but I'm not going to renew. Bless y'all's hearts that actually go into the store-I've gone in twice, and just can't get used to the gestapo receipt checkers at the exit. I mean, we're paying to be a member…but are automatically branded a criminal the second you walk in the door? That's just creepy and weird.
Visited Hickory, NC Sam's Club on New Years Eve just to find it hard to shop due to pallets of merchandise blocking several aisles. Literally had to step over or sqeeze between pallets to shop. It was like trying to cross a one lane bridge with several cars waiting on both sides. Finally just gave up and left. Sad that I have to pay for bad customer service. Went across the street to WalMart and then Lowes to get what I needed and guess what? Don't have to pay to shop there yet much better experience.
I am long time plus business member. Twice now I have had unauthorized fraud charges over $100 on my account made at a local Bentonville, Arkansas store, (I live in Colorado). Walmart/Sam's started in Bentonville so this reeked of being an "inside" company fraud charge. Both times my card had to be cancelled and a replacement card provided with very little explanation to me about how this could happen multiple times now and the possible inside fraud connection. I question the upper management now at Sam's Club.
On August 1,2017 I went to Sams club store at 1501 Sams circle in Chesapeake, VA to join Sams club business. I filled out all the required paper work but had to return home to answer I.D. code placed on my phone. I was approved over the telephone that day. All seamed well and I returned 8-8-2017 to get my permanent card as well as my wife's card. That's when I found out Sams club is not the place to do business. My wife and I had over 200.00 in worth of merchandise including a car battery. First of what became a Chinese fire drill was I had to pay for the battery at checkout then go to customer service to get my core charge but before that could take place my Sams club MasterCard was declined? I called 8-7-2017 to make sure everything was go to go and was told everything was in good order. After a 1/2 hour of no one knowing what was going on I demand my membership cancelled and a full refund. I will post negative feedback at every internet site on the web to let people what to expect.
Some how I'm not longer a Sams club member since 2019. When I had placed and received an order from Sams as recent as March 8th, 2021. How does that happen? Final answer from them, I guess you will have to go to a local store in person to figure out what is going on with your membership. Not acceptable. They are not the only store in town. Good bye Sams.
Took a 30 min online chat, 4 phone calls, and a trip to Sam club to cancel my membership that they charged me early for. Every time I called Sam clubs help line someone would either pick up and hang up or pick up and all you'd hear was background noise and staff warming up food. Literally had no help until I actually went to the store, because they had 1 genuine human to help. Overall crap experience, now i understand why my friends do Costco or BJs.
Answer: Sams club has no customer service. Costco is the way to go
Answer: Always clean store. Staff courteous and helpful. Areas stocked items easy to find fast checkout. Whole atmosphere is awesome. No screaming kids
Answer: Call the local store speak to Store Manager who will identify the problem
Answer: IN the store - no problem, it was correct answer. If you are not, try to chat. You can wait a little - not too long, however, you will get help from an associate.
