I was charge a 100 membership fee by Sam's for auto renewal only problem was that i am not the primary member on the account my daughter is so i am unsure how or why i was charged. I called customer service to try and get my money back on 7/12/2022 it is now 07/22/2022 and i still have not gotten a refund. What disturbs me is that the customer service rep told me that upon checkout i somehow agreed to this auto renewal of the sam's card how i don't know since i was never primary on the card so i never signed anything. I finally got a manager on the phone after calling customer 3 times and speaking to 6 reps and he set it up for me to go store and get a refund. This is not the only issue i have had with Sam( I have their credit card) but this is the straw that broke the camel's back.
Just bought bulk paper products etc. Produce such as fish/meat were not fresh but wrapped so difficult to tell that, but returned them. They somehow got my new address when I moved to tell me that they canceled me before the renewal cycle period. I called and said I was done and she simply said "ok" with kids screaming in the background. Wow.
Went shopping on three occasions at Sam's club on Mountain Industrial Drive in Tucker. On those three occasions tried to get a hot dog from the Deli but was told they are having difficulty getting that item. I However, was able to get all I want from another Sam's club deli. As a result, I became curious and investigated only to find out that were having problems with the management and staff at that club. Furthermore, the corporate office and the store management were giving stock answers and not directly addressing customer's concerns. I will now take out a membership at Costco. (Walking with my dollars)
Signed up to try out Sam Club nearby my house, but regretted it after the first visit, their customer service has only one line and it was long, all the employees were standing around chatting with each other. Went in and bought a pie and a few items, the pie was too sweet, and the frozen pie tasted way better, bought a chicken salad, way too salty. On my way out, I thought I will try the hotdog that Costco is famous for, there was only one line to the food counter so I keep on walking. Now I know why they can't compete with Costco. Probably will never come back again.
Was directed by a busy employee to the customer service desk where I only had to wait for a minute, maybe less. When I voiced my complaint of leaving my cart momentarily so I could get an item I had forgotten and some lousy individual took my Prilosec out of it so when I got home, said item was missing - I didn't notice until this morning - would it be possible to be compensated the $22+ it cost. 'No problem,' the lovely lady behind the counter said. I walked out of the store several minutes later with a new package and no loss, that having been absorbed by the south Springfield Sam's Club. It was an overall good experience and I'm very grateful. I won't be leaving my cart unattended again.
Sams Club renewed my membership on a card I only used there once. Never authorized auto -renew. 45 mins on phone with reason why I need to take Walmart card or go to sams to cancel. I moved out of state and do not have a Sam's within a 2 hour radius.
I purchased my laptop at Sam's and saved money. I purchased the SQUARE TRADE to protect my investment. It was 3 years of coverage. I usually replace my laptop that often. I thought I got a great deal. It promises resolutions in 5 business days.
For the first time ever, I accidentally dropped my laptop. I was sick. I had it set up with all my software and working with the overhead projector. I had the protection plan which gave me some comfort. I would need to wait 5 days. Right?
I had to wait for a box. I got to drop off the box with my laptop to FedEx on 09/25/19. I called on 10/02/19 after receiving confirmation that they had received the package on 09/27/19. The update was that my parts were on back order.
Today, 10/12/19, I called for an update. The parts are still on back order. That's the plan. You are just screwed. I will buy my next laptop from BestBuy with their protection plan that really delivers.
I took advantage of the pick up and didn't get all my stuff. Called customer service and they said I would have to go to customer service desk in the store. Due to health concerns I can't do that. Customer pickup will not answer phone. No satisfaction. Rip off.
We have used Sam's Club for our business for YEARS, I have never really had an issue with them, mostly when there is an issue, it is because they are understaffed and cannot handle the influx of people that come in at once.
Their online service is easy and convenient, just select a pick-up time and your good to go, this system beats the instore pick up by leaps and bounds, before the curbside pick up you had to try and find a kiosk... sometimes then a manager. Then just go to the customer service desk... it was a fiasco.
Getting fuel and in-store purchase is pretty easy also, no big deal.
Sam's club associates will wait until the last minute without intitial warning to start walking around saying the registers are closing soon, the store is closed. Like many shoppers I'm not walking around looking at my watch every second. I think 30 minutes prior and again in 5 minutes they should let us know they are closing within that time, but why tell us they will close the registers? However the managers & associates at Sam's club are very nice- better than most of the managers & associates at Rt. 80 Walmart
Very horrible service, I left wrong address and request them to cancel my order after I got a reference number I thought my order was cancelled. Three days later I got the package out for delivery email and call them again, I was informed my order would be delivered, the only way to get my money back is return, the problem is I am living 1000 mills away right now how can I get my package to return?. Very disappoint and horrible sam's customer service!
2nd membership fee hike in the 3 years we have lives where there is a sams club. Many big box stores and competitors are cheaper or matching prices and don't charge a fee. This chain is over prices in their meat and other foods/ goods. Getting quiet ridiculous honestly. Our family is considering dumping this when next renewal comes up being their prices and products don't bring us shopping there.
I had a delivery from our local Sam's club over $200, it was not delivered to our home and it was an absolute nightmare trying to get a refund. The actual club takes no responsibility for the delivery and you call an 800 number. I spent over 45 minutes trying to get a resolution. Terrible customer service and an even worse delivery system. I think we may cancel our membership and just stick with Costco. 10/10 would not recommend.
I recently purchased a large screen tv to be delivered with 'white glove' service, which includes unpacking, attaching legs to tv, setting on tv stand, and removal of packing. I was never notified of delivery date/time, men just showed up at door. As I had not been able to prepare space, my choices were refuse delivery or have it dropped off. Sam's agent DID NOT HELP in scheduling men back out to finish and delivery service not reachable.
I have had terrible customer service at this location. I got to Sam's Club at about 9:30 this morning with my 10 month old baby with the sole purpose of buying baby formula and was turned away because I'm not a "Plus" member. I was unaware of this rule. I understand people pay a little extra for that perk, but I was really upset that they turned me away and couldn't make a small exception in this case. It's hard enough to drag my baby out to the store in the cold, and then made even worse when I drive all the way here and am told I can't go in and need to wait. Literally the only thing I was going to buy was baby formula. It would have taken me less than 5 minutes. Thanks for making life harder for this mother.
I went to place a cake order on Thursday for Sunday.I was told no one was making cakes over the weekend. I just recommended Sam Club,saying they have the best cakes.
Even my neighbor was disappointed.
We have tried to get our patient pain medication 4 times now. It's not like its a high powered pain medication. It's tramadol 50 mg. She is preparing for a joint replacement surgery. They would not except a verbal prescription nor would the except a hand written prescription. This lady lives almost 2 hours away and is in need of this light narcotic. The MD actually drove with in 45 min of where she lives and met her on the side of a road just to hand deliver her the prescription with DEA, phone number and all contact information and they still refused to fill this. They only except e-scribe medication. So computers can not get hacked now? We will never send another patient there for any reason.
Bass pro Drive went there today ask for handicap buggy, cart or what ever you want to call it. Ask the guy at the door if one was able to be used he said no they didn't work and there were like Six of them there. Headed out the about half of them were gone and saw one just inside the door being used, Those people are there for a check and thats it the buggy guys oh my my my. Oh ya they took out the handsanitiser thing out soon time back dum $#*! manager. I would not work for these $#*!s.,
Another example of deceptive advertising! This ad implies that bounty is $10 off each and I can buy two. It also implies that charming is $10 off each and I can buy two. After driving 10 miles to my nearest Sam's Club, come to find out that it is only five dollars off each and can only buy two products. This is totally unfair and highly deceptive.
I contacted customer service for Sam's club today because I received 2 packages and 1 of the packages had something entirely different from what I ordered. The first person I talked to was completely rude and left me confused about my order so I decided to chat with another person named Laura and I was trying to explain my situation and in mid sentence she ended the conversation and chat. I have never been treated so rude and I have been ordering from Sam's club for 14 years. I will be contacting someone Monday to get to the bottom of it.
