Scent Matchers did an outstanding job matching my "personal scent". Years of settling for smelling like so many other women I found Ambre. Of course it was taken off the shelves... European women didn't like it as much as American. They brought it back for a short time then it was gone. I'm thrilled that Scent Matchers was spot on matching Ambre. It started out a bit strong but within a week it was perfect. I'm hooked!
They have a gift of wonderful noses. LOL! They truly did a great job!
The cologne they made for me was discontinued years ago, and the last time I wore it or even smelled it was in the late 1990's. What they sent me was identical to what I remember. I was amazed. I highly recommend scent masters.

Couldn't find where u put the place 2 type in the name or message u want printed on the bottle. I love this company, so far they have matched my previous orders 2 the scents i requested. Very pleased!
Terrible experience all the way around. The fragrance was offensive and nothing like the original scent. I even sent them a sample! After 2 tries, I just asked for a refund. No response. They do not return any emails and just ignore you. The website claims it will fully refund your money if they can't get it right. I think its a scam and they have no idea what they are doing and know it. Read the reviews they are terrible. I wish I had taken to time to do so. My bad. My advice RUN. RUN. RUN...
I bought a dupe from a Hollister perfume that was discontinued. It smelled just like it! It cost me $10 less than the original for 3x the amount of product. I wear it every day! Absolutely love this company!
I`ll make it simple and short. 4 fragrances, non of them match. Customer service unprofessional. After 4 frags. Tried to resolve, after 4 e-mails, no respond. Turned to BBB for help. Stay away from this business.

I sent Scentmatchers my wife's favorite discontinued perfume in hopes they could match it so I could surprise her on our 5th Wedding Anniversary. Well she was happily shocked and I'm happy with Scentmachers! Happy Wife, Happy Customer :)
After a bit of a rocky start with communication, I received the product I had requested -- it turned out to be nearly perfect match to my beloved discontinued Fendi by Fendi. I received it within a week, and I could not be more delighted with the fragrance match. It's probably a 99% match, and quite frankly, I am blown away.
I ordered a discontinued cologne for my Sister's birthday and she is thrilled and loves her present. The Customer Service is perfect, because I just wrote to ScentMatchers at 6:00 AM and I was greeted and in a conversation with the Customer Service. This tells me they care very much about their Customers. I will be ordering from ScentMatchers again very soon. They are a Five Gold Star Company.

The scent they "custom" made for me smells like rotten food in an antique store. They refused to give me a refund when weeks before I purchased, they offered a full refund if I was not happy. Now they have changed their policy and I am stuck with this awful bottle of crap. Horrible company. Horrible communication. Horrible scents. RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!
I was so happy to order this fragrance that Ive wanted for the last 20 years. Tendre Poison by Christian Dior. Being that I have just 2 sprays of the original left. I woke up to my package this morning and couldn't wait to open it then spray it and have it bring me back in time to 1995 and swarm me with all the fun, beautiful memories it reminds me of. Instead I smelled regret. I'm so upset. I really needed to relive those memories.
Scentmatchers duplicated Woods that Abercrombie used to make. I could not find it anywhere at a reasonable price. The match is perfect. The bottle is lovely. The price is reasonable. The service is excellent. I will tell my friends and purchase from Scentmatchers again.
I ordered their match of Blue Jeans from the '70s and Uninhibited by Cher. I opened the Blue Jeans first. It didn't smell like Blue Jeans but it was OK. The bottle of Uninhibited not only didn't smell like the original, it smelled horrible. I contacted the company and they refunded my money and told me to keep the perfume. I thought that was nice but I would rather have had my scents.
Everything was pretty straightforward except the personalized message portion. The site states to check the box and another will appear to type a message. When i checked the box, nothing appeared. I then proceeded to the checkout page and there was a special instruction box. I put "please put the message (timeless memories)..." I'm hoping that goes through to my order.
I ordered Maroc which has been off the market for years. When I received it, the perfume had broken during shipment, so I had to go to the post office to pick it up. I emailed the company and they responded right away. They politely assured me that they'd send a replacement. It took a couple of weeks, and I had just about given up any hope of getting it, but thankfully, I received it in the mail today. I'm very pleased with the customer service.
The perfume is not exactly like the original but I have to say, they made an honest effort and it's not too far off. You have to consider that they're trying to duplicate the original, so can we really expect the scent to be perfect?
Previously I ordered Maroc and Sweet Intensions from Fragrance.Net. The Maroc smelled horrible and the Sweet Intentions barely had a scent at all. I don't know where they get their perfumes, but I recommend not ordering from them. At least Scentmatchers got it close.
I was pleased with the Jovan Mink and Pearls recreation. Cotton ball test with original and new are very close. Scentmatchers products are cruelty free and this is important to me. Customer Service was responsive and professional (asked about cruelty free and delivery update). Big bottle, nice satin pouch and free body lotion. Worth the price. Pleased with purchase.
They refunded my money extremely fast, but the fake Jovan Grass Oil was horrible. They did try to con me into feeling guilty about the supposed money that they spent trying to recreate the scent, but they already know, darn good and well, that they cannot even come close to recreating the Jovan Grass Oil and yet they're still selling it. I don't understand this.
I ordered the scent Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific. It reminds me of my younger days in the 1970's when all I had to worry about was riding my bike home before dark. Now, not only my hair smells terrific, but my whole body smells terrific.
So i ordered a bottle of discontinued perfume and i still havent received it. So i went to email them about it and then i came across the reviews... so now realizing that i have been screwed over, i go back to their website and go through the ordering process. And guess what?!? One of the steps they ask you to type in the fragrance that you want matched and they will search to see if they can match it or if they need a sample to match it. Well you can leave that box blank and amazingly they can match it! Wow what con-artists
Somewhere in the 1980's, my Dad bought me Via Lanvin perfume at an airport somewhere overseas. It suited me so well, my daughter came to associate me with that scent.
Years later, and I ran out. My daughter reminded me of that special perfume, but I couldn't find it anywhere. When I saw your ad on Facebook, I immediately looked to see if you could make my favorite perfume.
I was a little wary, however. Over the years, I have developed a sensitivity to fragrance and now do not buy perfumes or colognes, or anything with an artificial fragrance.
I was delighted when my Via Lanvin arrived and smelled exactly as I remember. Not only that, I am not sensitive to the fragrance and can wear it daily. Just a light spray in the morning and I can still smell it in the afternoon. It makes me happy.

Business History
Shortly after Scentcrafters formed, Adam and Angela also started their life together as husband and wife. Literally a couple months after that, Angela found out she was pregnant with their first child. At that time Scentmatchers was also created. Needless to say, it was a busy period for the Schultz's!
Scentmatchers started after Scentcrafters' customers repeatedly asked if we could also provide a service to bring discontinued fragrances back to life. After enough people asked us this, we eventually woke up to the idea that, "Hey, we should give people what they want."
In 2013 we took the next step as a company and hired our first employees. We now have over 28 years of combined experience producing discontinued fragrances, and to date we have sold over 100,000 individual bottles of discontinued fragrances.
In 2014 we decided to increase our commitment to customer service and we hired our first full time Customer Service Manager, Pravin. We pride ourselves on providing quick and prompt customer service as repeat business becomes the cornerstone of our company.
In June of 2017 we increased the amount of perfume oil we used in fragrances by 50%, which we feel increases the quality of our product by it more potent and longer lasting.
In 2018 we created this new streamlined website on the Shopify platform that we are very excited about. We also added 2 more full time employees as the business continues to grow.
Despite some initial growing pains, we are now considered one of the foremost experts in creating discontinued perfume and cologne. We look forward to recreating your memories as you become part of our story.
