0l Stars Fraud. They take your $$ with a no-refund policy send you any type of cologne they want... They don't care because if you don't like it they don't do refunds... You're paying 80 to $90 for glass bottle with Grandma perfume in it. They suck!
I ordered a match of a Hollister perfume that was discontinued over 10 years ago, but I didn't think it smelled the way it should. I emailed scent matchers and within an hour, they promised a bottle of a different requested scent to make up for the one I did not like. Matching an exact scent is hard... they may not have got the one I wanted right, but they make up for it by sending a replacement free of charge.
I was so disappointed. I should have read the reviews. I ordered Hugo Boss Intense. Not even close. They even asked me if I would send them a sample so they could try again. WTF? They are suppose to be the experts. SCAM! I am out 70.00.
Even the bottle is attractive enough to keep on my dresser top, and I collect crystal bottles. None of them contain a perfume that smells as good as my Coty Nokomis though. I've missed this scent since they discontinued it years and years ago, and here it is again!
I purchased Evening in Paris before Christmas. The scent wasn't what I remembered and after wearing it for a couple hours, I smelled my wrist and could not smell anything. I asked my boyfriend if he could smell the perfume and he said no. I was very disappointed in the purchase and wrote to the company. They were very concerned that I was not happy and told me to keep the bottle of Evening in Paris and try another fragrance with no cost to me. So I asked for Tova. OMG, I LOVE it. It smells exactly like Tova and when I wore it out one day I was asked several times what the fragrance was that I was wearing. I told them and even the next morning when I was getting out of bed I got a whiff of the scent. I am a believer in this company now. I will be back to try other fragrances as the price is much more in my budget than the originals. If you're on the fence, don't be. This company stands by their products.

It was very easy to find the discontinued perfume I was looking for, and I loved being able to choose the bottle and have a message printed on it. I also liked being able to add an additional bottle during checkout for a reduced price. I will be a repeat customer!
My mom loves a perfume called 'Trouble' and I couldn't find it, only to find out that it was discontinued. She was a bit heartbroken so I when I saw an ad for this site last year I knew I had to try it. She says it smells just like the real thing too. I worried it wouldn't show up in time for Christmas, but it was here in plenty of time. It was my mistake not to have any writing on the bottle, I thought that was like including a gift note sort of thing. Thanks, made mom's Christmas!
I'm so sad. I've waited for this perfume for a month anxiously awaiting the scent that I remember from the 80's and this perfume is nowhere close to the original. Very disappointing that I paid $70 for this!
This company is genius! I received a matched scent with my name on it for my birthday of a scent that was discontinued when I was in high school. The scent was spot on and the price unbelievably affordable! This company is truly a treasure!

I ordered a match of "Bal A Versailles", by Jean Desprez-Paris; difficult to find an authentic bottle now. I received my order and am extremely pleased! This fragrance is difficult to duplicate and I would say Scentmatchers version is 99.98% accurate. Will order again.

I am so happy with my perfume! It smells just like the original Ralph Lauren Rocks that I wore for years before it was discontinued. I have never been able to find another perfume like it that complimented my natural scent, until now! Thank you scent matchers for making my amazing perfume available to me again!
The first scent they sent me was nothing like the scent I ordered. Then they asked me to send a sample so I used the very little I had to send them. The scent they sent me the second time did not smell anything like the sample I sent them. I am not a scent expert but I could tell they were nothing alike. I wasted the last few drops from my perfume for them which was a total waste.
I was looking for Calvin 1981 by Calvin and it was either priced exorbitantly high or simply not available. The folks at ScentMatchers were able to create it for me. I am grateful for their efforts and artistry.

I was trying to come close to what I knew was a discontinued fragrance called Ginnie Johanson and had tried everything and searched everywhere. Then I came across Scentmatchers. The first scent they sent was not close but they tried twice and while the 2nd one wasn't Ginnie, I will give them a huge A for effort. The one they did send is growing on me and I wear it every day now. This is a company that obviously has customer satisfaction in mind. I can't wait to dream something else up for them to try.
I just can't say enough about how wonderful the folks at Scent Matchers are. They tried several times to match my scent but I was a very picky customer. Finally we agreed upon the perfect match but the bottle arrived damaged by the carrier on two occasions. Scent Matchers offered to resend it twice. I am amazed how wonderful these folks are. Their customer service cannot be beat. They bend over backwards to exceed my expectations.
I was impressed with the delivery of the bottle itself, and the match of the perfume; was on target. It is nice to be able to wear high ended scents for a fraction of the original cost. KUDOS to scentmatchers I am impressed

I was looking for the fragrance which was for more than five years in my life, it is by for men, by dolce & gabanna, because, the company had discontinued.
Then I came to scentmatchers. They promised me a copy of my perfume.
I must admit I was quite skeptical, but decided to try it myself, because the reviews were all (or almost all) negative.
My surprise! I do not say that is 100% accurate, but it comes extremely close to my perfume. I must say that 90%.
But for me, I am, not only pleased, I think to repeat my order in the future.
With me, fulfilled promises, even within delivery time.

Shortly after Scentcrafters formed, Adam and Angela also started their life together as husband and wife. Literally a couple months after that, Angela found out she was pregnant with their first child. At that time Scentmatchers was also created. Needless to say, it was a busy period for the Schultz's!
Scentmatchers started after Scentcrafters' customers repeatedly asked if we could also provide a service to bring discontinued fragrances back to life. After enough people asked us this, we eventually woke up to the idea that, "Hey, we should give people what they want."
In 2013 we took the next step as a company and hired our first employees. We now have over 28 years of combined experience producing discontinued fragrances, and to date we have sold over 100,000 individual bottles of discontinued fragrances.
In 2014 we decided to increase our commitment to customer service and we hired our first full time Customer Service Manager, Pravin. We pride ourselves on providing quick and prompt customer service as repeat business becomes the cornerstone of our company.
In June of 2017 we increased the amount of perfume oil we used in fragrances by 50%, which we feel increases the quality of our product by it more potent and longer lasting.
In 2018 we created this new streamlined website on the Shopify platform that we are very excited about. We also added 2 more full time employees as the business continues to grow.

I wouldn't say all the reviews are bad, there are plenty of good reviews as well (such as yours). Google, in particular, puts links up that people like to click. They give people what they want. So if a review headline says "Scentmatchers Sucks" and people are thinking of buying, they are likely to click on that review as to one that says "My thoughtful comprehensive review of the Scentmatchers experience". Therefore a lot of negative type reviews get pushed to the top of Google's rankings. If you ignore the more sensational posts and do a count of all the actual negative reviews versus the positive reviews the count is about 50 negative to over 200 positive, and people are more likely to leave a negative review than a positive one.
It's true we would like all positive reviews, but with thousands of bottles sold every year unfortunately we do have some customers that are unhappy with the match. Then they "Google" our name, see a couple other sensational style reviews, get worried or think they were scammed, and then post their own negative review. It's kind of a never ending cycle. In reality those that are unhappy can just return the bottle for a refund.
I apologize, I have gone off on a little bit of a tangent, but it's something I wanted to explain to anyone that reads our reviews because I think it's important to provide the proper perspective on things.
