One day after posting the original review, the company has finally resolved the issue to my satisfaction! As a result, I have updated the rating from two stars to four stars; hopefully, there will be no further issues with customer service, thereby causing me to edit this again.
It is t the first time but it's been awhile I thought I'd try the pecan praline cones again. The cones were so tough and chew one had to tear them to get them apart.no joke worst come of all times and left a funny after taste in the mouth. Very disappointed for a $19 box of ice cream comes.would never purchase again horrible.
I placed an order on December 22. Today is December 28 + they STILL hadn't even prepared my order to ship. They had no problem processing my payment on time but what I ordered? Never shipped. I demanded an immediate refund. She said ("customer service") that they couldn't do it that fast. Let's see how long it takes. Save yourself the aggravation + order elsewhere.

Once a happy customer, will not order again until you bring back the single packaging of the 4 oz boneless skinless chicken breast. The quality and uniformed size of the chicken is horrible. Do not change what is working for your customers!
Terrible customer service they don't answer the phones at the account service department. And don't waste your time leaving a msg. They don't return the calls. If you call the order line it is a different company and they can't help customers with issues so why even have this team.
I placed an order on 3/25/2020. Received an email on 3/31 that my order would no be coming UPS but by their truck. One 4/2 I got an email say my Ofer had been cancelled. But wait it gets better... yesterday I got an email that says my new order placed on 4/2 was pending. Did I mention I placed no order on 4/2. So logged into my account and sure enough it my original order minus 2 items. But still pending. I have called their CS number and help twice over an hour even though their phone system said 27 min wait and 22 min wait. I have now online cancelled my order. As you can't chat or email on their site either. But what a joke. This company only does home delivery all the time. They absolutely stink at it and Customer Service. We be deleting that account and app. Buyers beware if you depend on them delivering in a timely manner or communicating on the delivery you can forget it.
We have not had any problems with any of our food. But I recently bought the new Classic Apple Pie. It is not good. The crust is horrible. The old fashioned Apple Pie was the best and now it's discontinued. Not sure why this has to happen.
We love the products they offer for what they are, frozen convenient foods. Their quality is always reliable. Our delivery guy is AWESOME! He always rembers my kids names plus the cat and dog. He even has a treat for the dog sometimes. Now our son is on his route and our daughter is hoping he can be her guy!

Schwan's takes no responsiblity for their lack of service. Place a order that was delayed due to their error and all they wanted to offer was to take off the delvery fee of $4,50. The "customer service agent" could not get off the phone fast enough with me and ended up hanging up on me. Will not order from them again. They should contact Omaha steaks and learn what customer service is all about.
I have ordered only 2x. Neither order arrived as expected. This last order was going to be 2 weeks late. We have company coming and now no "convenience" foods. I was offered only a new delivery date and an apology. What happened to 'customer service'?
I was a new customer. Signed up last month to have food delivered during this Coronavirus Pandemic. I liked the food. Everything I tried was pretty good for ready made. However, after trying to reorder, I am not satisfied. If you want returning customers, you shouldn't ask them to keep track of passwords. This is a hassle, a waste of time trying to get through emails, and reset everything. And there's no way to bypass it. Hopefully, you'll change the way your system is set up. Until then, I'll have to go some place else. Passwords are inconveniences to me and just makes me extremely angry!
Personally, I like that Schwan's changes things up from time to time (as opposed to previous reviewer)--they have some great specials and new items, which I apreciate. Driver is always timely, courteous and friendly. The kids love everything we order! The boneless skinless breasts are a staple--thanks Schwans!
I am an African American male and was racially profiled by a Schwan's driver. He wouldn't give me my food due to my skin color and started calling me racial slurs. I just wanted my chicken. He preceded to threaten me and then called the cops. He threw the first punch, I just finished it. The feds showed up and he was lying on the ground, while I was standing over him. They put me in handcuffs and I get a week in prison. I later found out that the driver was in critical condition and is currently still in there. I don't recommend this place.
I noticed a charge on my credit card for an order I absolutely know I did not place. I called customer service for assistance & answers and got nowhere. I had to end up filing fraud charges with my credit card and request a new card & number simply because they weren't refunding MY money. They couldn't explain why I got charged, couldn't tell me who the driver was (yea right) or even when I should expect a refund. Horrible customer service from what I THOUGHT was a reputable company. I kept getting the same run around & going nowhere answers. You don't get to just charge credit cards for unauthorized purchases. Makes me wonder how many times they do this and get away with it. They have officially lost a customer.
We've been rural customers for years if not decades, and we love our driver, courteous, friendly, on time every time. Come to find out we've been switched to UPS delivery, 2 weeks out, and we're paying $19.95 delivery charge. Guess what? NO WE AREN'T as we're CANCELLING. Terrible, this used to be a great convenience, now it's a rip off.

Your business went downhill your prices went up you can't even get your deliveries on time it's two weeks for me waiting for my meals after you took my money and screwed up my bank account worst business I rather go to Walmart use people will be going out of business just like the milk drivers no more home deliveries and you'll be closing just like Kmart do us a favor and put us of a misery
Stacy in customer service was very rude and difficult to work with. I will no longer be able to do business with a company who chooses to employ rude people. It's unfortunate for the guys in the field who suffer the consequences from rude customer service.
They are very expensive now and way overpriced and they no longer have the book as a option to order from and to look at. They no longer take cash. You can't order from the schwan's man now you have to do it by either calling the company or by downloading their stupid app. They got rid of a lot of product's that I love. Overall they're so not worth it anymore. It wouldn't bother me in the least if that company shut down all together.
I placed my order early this week for delivery on Friday between 4 - 6pm. I called customer service this morning and they were scheduled to deliver on the 16th although I received a confirmation email to deliver on Friday. I'm disappointed with the lack of follow through communication.
Packaging was great, all the food was frozen when it arrived.
As far as quality, If I could give lower then one star, I would. The food was not good at all. It was sent to me and my family as a gift, and I was upset my mom spent her money on it. It was truly terrible food.
When my mother spoke to customer service, all the offered her was a $20 coupon, which she declined as she has no intentions on ever ordering from them again. Terrible food, and customer service.
Very annoying when you get a text confirming your delivery date, get a list ready with items you want and then they don't show up. Called and complained and they said they could reschedule, but I would have to place my order online. I said, no, I already have a list. Since I would not order online, they won't come.

This company is a joke, I scheduled a delivery for the time frame 3-6pm. This company never shows up and never call, then I call the the number to figure out it is an outsource customer service. Korean con artists is what this company is.
I placed an order with them nearly two weeks in advance of the delivery date. My ENTIRE order was not loaded on the truck and the driver had no idea I had put a pre-order in the system. So, what did customer service offer to make up for this? They were going to waive the delivery fee and UPS all but 1 of the items to me 3 days later. Okay so I get most of my order... when can I get the last item? TWO WEEKS from now... They did not offer it for free, offer any free points, NOTHING. Canceled my order. If you show no appreciation for customers willing to buy from you, then why would I?
After reading the reviews, I will NOT be trying Schwan's. My partner is VERY sensitive about expiration dates, an I don't want to hassle with poor customer service. Too bad, I heard that the food was pretty good.
Suspended the route to our area and kept sending messages to my email that I would be getting my order not on one day (June 14,2022), but on yet another day (June 15,2022). The representative that I spoke with was patient and listened to my concerns, however Schwan's was sold out of any and all of the items that were on my order that consisted of ~$100.
I was a customer for 3 months. I never, not once received an order that was complete, the ice cream is good but everything else is just not worth the money. What broke the camels back is I placed an order and it never even showed up. I called and discovered the route was canceled, they never sent email or nothing informing me of that. I absolutely will not refer anyone to Schwan's... bottom line us they SUK
We have liked everything so far minus the precooked bfst sausages. The blueberry scones are to due for! Sprinkle with sugar. We love the pizzas, chicken fries, green beans are the best ever! Can't beat the ice cream ofcrs! I buy everything on sale & use credits or discounts. Customer service always helpful & accommodating if we've had any problems.
