Don't make the mistake I did.

Ordered a part that I needed quickly. It was listed as "in stock" when I made the purchase. Paid an extra fee of $45+ for express shipment. Received an email several days later indicating the part was on backorder. Called immediately to cancel the order; spoke to Marie who told me a cancellation "request" had been submitted and said I'd receive a a refund for the order. Found another part online at a different company and ordered it. Next day received a "product shipped" email. They went ahead and shipped part of the order despite my request to cancel. It wasn't the part that I really needed, rather it was a switch I was going to change just in case. Jumped on their customer service online chat to restate that I wanted to cancel the order. Transcript below. I was told that the order would be cancelled and a refund issued. Thereafter received another "product shipped" email. They shipped the rest of the order instead of cancelling. Never received a refund except for the express shipping. I'll take the hit on this. Paying a couple hundred dollars to learn who the shady companies are that I don't ever want to do business with again is worth it to me. They'll never get another dime from me. I suggest strongly they don't get a dime from you either. Terrible company. Customer Service reps will straight lie to you.

No wonder Sears are closing their stores. They have no business to be in BUSINESS. I ordered two appliance parts and waited 2 months and then decided to cancel due to lack of waiting. Then I ordered another appliance part on October 31,2017 and have been waiting once again 2 months for delivery. And guess what, they canceled the ORDER without my knowledge. Now that is what I call irresponsible and negligence service.

Please HEAR my message, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM SEARS PARTS DEPARTMENT. You will be in for a horrible experience.

They sent me 2 bad parts, washer timers. Both were bad. When i try to return them from the directions they give you, the so called return item choice they say is there is not there. Then when you call to return that way they hang up on you or stop talking and pretend they are no longer connected. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. THEY WILL SCAM YOU.

This mthfkrs didnt refund me back all my money after i ordered a part that was suposely instock and it was backordered so i cancelled and 3 days later i recieved a part from some other company i didnt order from, so i returned it and they even charged me shipping to return dont buy from searpaets direct they steal ur money i spent $140 and was returned $113. $#![ CRAZY.

One star is too much. Ordered a dishwasher part on 9/14/15 was never told it was on back order. Finally after not receiving it, on 9/25/15 found out it was on back order until 10/12/15. I called on 9/25/15 after spending 15 minutes on their website trying to cancel the order. Was told it was cancelled and I would receive a credit on my credit card. On 9/30/15 received an email stating the item was now available to ship. I immediately called on 9/30/15 and said that I had cancelled the item. They said no problem, we will generate a shipping label for you to return the product and you will receive a full refund. I returned the product and guess what? Not only did I not receive a full refund but I was charged postage on the return. Never did the customer service rep or the email with the return shipping label say that there would be a charge for returning a product that I cancelled twice.

Never use Sears Parts, very poor customer service, parts on delay/back order, never notify customers, etc.

There are plenty of other appliance parts places out there to receive the parts from and much cheaper. Do your research first (I learned the hard way).

Part Returned, No Refund

I made the mistake of ordering a part for my GE range from Sears. I specifically gave the salesperson the code number of the part. But he insisted you do not worry; I will find a part which he said has five lighters. However, when asked to send me a picture, he did not want to send me a picture. Anyway, I felt he works for Sears, so he would not lie. That was a big mistake. Sears is no longer a good company as I had known it 20 years ago. It is a scam.
However, I got a part that was not even close to what I had asked for. So I returned it right away, which they received four days later. I waited for my refund, which never came. So I called ten days later. After going through all the buttons the computer asked for, I finally reached a person (by the way, there is no option for a refund) who transferred me to the person in charge of the refund. She admitted it had been 11 days since the refund had not been issued and promised to email me within an hour to confirm that it had been issued. It is now two days later, with no refund or email. I tried to contact Sears again, but the computer only tells me to go online but there is no option for a refund. It is the worst company I have dealt with, and I will never contact or do business with Sears again.

I always check reviews of a company before I do business with it. But I trusted the old Sears, so I did not bother. However, when it did this to me, I checked its reviews and discovered that Sears gets the lowest review, 1 out of five.

Refrigerator Parts

This company is the worse organization that I have ever had to deal with. They charge your credit card when the item is on backorder and will not give you a credit for parts ordered until you receive the item which may be months from the date of the charge. NEVER USE THIS ORGANIZATION. THEY ARE SWINDLERS.

OMG! I order the parts YESTERDAY and they arrived TODAY! I have no idea how they did that. Dallas TX to Las Vegas NV. And I did not pay any kind of expedited shipping. Plus for the LG Refrig parts I ordered they were the best price I could find on the web

Do not order from here! Absolute most incompetent service ever! Ordered a part and paid almost $20 for expedited shipping for my washer part (a pump). I was supposed to received it on Monday and it is now Tuesday. So I called and they said they would look into it but it would take 24-48 hours JUST TO LOOK INTO IT. Well I was supposed to receive the part YESTERDAY, SO THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I re-ordered off of Amazon and it should now be here tomorrow. Sears parts direct is a joke. They even told me just to cancel the order would take them 24-48 hours. WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE! They are also not registered with the BBB... so that should be the first clue!

First off, when I was placing my order, there was no mention of the item being on backorder. Once the order was placed, I received the email saying it was on backorder and it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. I found the item on another site, so I went to cancel this item via the "cancel order" button, but received an email telling me I couldn't cancel the order. Then when I received the item, it was defective. I told them that and although they covered the return shipping, they didn't refund the initial shipping. For a defective item, I expected a full refund. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Never order again
September 3, 2018

Ordered part on August 24th & was told would not arrive until 9/14. I was able to locate part on August 25th. I contacted Sears Parts Direct & was told the order would be canceled & I would receive an email verifying it was canceled. On August 28th I received an email saying the ordered has been shipped & my card had been charged. Called SPD & was told that they could not locate the order & I could not return it.

So many companies are outsourcing customer service jobs to save money. Around $200 per year is a living wage in one particular country, so you can imagine the exorbitant amounts of money companies save with this practice. This being said, they are going to run their companies into the ground. It is impossible to understand representatives. (It has to be extremely frustrating to them as well and I do feel bad for them and place the blame on the company)

I placed an order for an in stock item that had a delivery date of tomorrow. Since I had not received a shipping notice, I called Sears Parts Direct and was told that my scheduled delivery date was tomorrow. I said great, has the item shipped? No, it has not. Once I explained to them that if it had not shipped, I would likely not be getting it in time, they actually checked into it and found that the item (listed as in stock when placing the order and still currently in stock on the site) is on backorder. They said someone would let me know in 3 days how long the backorder is for. I need this part NOW, so I told them that they need to cancel the order and refund my money so I can order elsewhere. They cannot cancel it themselves and cancellation will take 3 business days and then an ADDITIONAL 5 business days to actually receive the refund. Sears used to be a trusted name. I wish I had come to this site first and read the other scathing reviews. It is a shame that the company is now so terrible.

Horrific

L have a craftsman 42" riding mower. Called for new blades. L was a bit put out because the woman was quick. L gave her the model and serial number. L was angry when l received the wrong blades after giving her specific info. L called and got another girl who not only could'nt help me saying the system was down she promptly hung up on me. The next call to a nice young guy name was Tyler. He saw what the correct blade should be. However, he didn't know whether they carried the blades or they would have to be made. This was getting from bad to worse. He said he would have to contact the manufacturer. I asked if he couldn't call. He said only by email. REALLY? L would have to wait for 24 at the most 48 hours and then l would get an email. If you think l was totally unconvinced your right. He told me they can't call. Only email. L knew when l hung up l wouldn't hear back. L never heard back. A week later l called and got a woman and she didn't even remembered information that l had given her previously in the conversation. A mistake, a lazy employee can be understood. The comedy errors and how l have been treated is absurd and needs to be known by all. I have a mower up in the air on a lift for almost 2 weeks. An acre of ground with grass up around my waist. Sears parts direct has my money and l have nothing but frustration. L feel as though l have been ripped off. Where do l go from here. Caveat Emptor! Buyer beware.

Ordered a part for my dryer on 6-15-18 have called numerous times and they sent out another part and still sent the WRONG part. Called multiple more times. Get someone over seas (would be ok if they could actually do their job and understand the English language). Called yet again today 7-17-18 after I was told the last 12 times I called this was being handled. Asked for a Supervisor. They refused and hung up on me. I was already on hold for 18 minutes to get to someone to begin with. After 35 minutes the lady literally hung up on me. I still do not have the CORRECT part I ordered. I have 2 parts to someone other unit. They do not understand that they keep sending me the WRONG part and keep telling me that I ordered the wrong part. UGH PLEASE SEARS - HIRE PEOPLE WHO SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. And WHY is there NO other department that a persons can talk to and why is the NO supervisors to talk to?

Incredibly pleased

I used the site to determine which part I needed to replace our washer control board. The site said the part was no longer available and gave me the equivalent part. The part looked similar but not exactly the same, and did not have all of the same connectors. I had scheduled a repairman, not with Sears, and he verified the part wouldn't work by calling them. They said no problem, I could send it back and they would return my money. They also had the correct part in stock. I had not had a chance to order the correct part yet OR send back the wrong part when, a couple of days later, the correct part came FedEx! So grateful! Hate being without a washer with 5 in our household!
I did have very frustrating experiences initially with what I think was outsourced (not in the US) customer service reps by phone, and a really great experience with one that was definitely in the US. All's well that ends well. In the photos, the one on the right is what was in my washer (and looks identical though it isn't the new one). The one on the left was the "equivalent" sent originally.

I have been searching for a Variable-Speed Pulley Assembly (Part 918-*******A). I spoke with a number of local and on line parts suppliers, but no one had it in stock, when it showed "in stock" on Sears Parts Direct I even called and spent a lot of time on the phone, to verify it they really had it in stock, that was June 5th, it was supposed to ship on June 12, and I called back again on the 10th and once again was assured it was in stock. It is now the 14th and the order shows back ordered. I am confident when I say they never had the part, they just took my order and have now cost me over a week and I am back to square one on my repair. I have canceled the order now I can't wait for the hassle I will most likely have trying to get my money back.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SEARS! I feel like they have stolen from me for 2 years in a row. I got rid of my Kenmore refrigerator over 6 years ago. After a couple of years I kept getting water filter replacements, stating I had a recurring order. I tried to send back (package unopened), but were returned by delivery service (also unopened). I tried to cancel this last year and thought it was complete. I also tried to cancel my credit card. Again, this year I received another package of water filters. The website is impossible, including not able to get anywhere with a chat bot and no human to speak with. I finally got a nice lady on the phone who canceled my credit card and assured me my recurring order was cancelled. I sent the filters back via UPS using the only address I had for Sears Parts, but once again returned to me as "address no longer valid". I now have another bill (to the canceled credit card) for a previous balance of $56 (no idea where that came from), $202 for for the filters, $29 for "fees charged"? And $6.58 for for interest. I will NEVER EVER do any business with Sears again. EVER!

India Scam Alert

STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY! As far away from this website as possible, run by the india cartel. You order something, a week later you get an email saying on backorder, meanwhile the same day or day after the order your credit card has already been charged. Then forget about getting a refund after that, you will get every excuse and apology in the world and the phone call will always end with no matter who you talk to that there was a glitch in the system and the refund is now being processed which is a lie because it never is or will be processed. You either eat the charge or beg your credit card company to eat it and fight it but i doubt they have any luck in recovering anything from this crminial outfit.

Unreliable and a Scam
December 16, 2020

Sears Repair person came to diagnose problem with range in early Nov, we agreed to purchasing two parts and for repairs totalling about $675. They then ask that you pay in full or about 60%, I opted for 60%. So glad I did. One part came, but the other was backordered, our scheduled repair date came and went, I called about twice a week to follow up on the backordered part. Nothing. So I look on Sears Parts Direct for this part and it is listed, I paid extra for fast shipping and finally received it. Then I went through three different rescheduled repairs that were cancelled without notice because their system said there was a backordered item, even though I rescheduled with a Sears person and told them that I had ordered the part myself. Finally the last person I spoke to said that I had to fill something out saying that I had purchased the backordered part myself. NOBODY had told me this bf. They wouldn't let me reschedule until I had the part. Also, no evidence in the system stating that I had ordered it myself. Super frustrating. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they said I would get a call back within two hours, didn't. I was so past any faith in anything they said to me that I cancelled my repair flat out and asked for a refund, of course minus the diagnostic fee and the one part that was delivered. It is now mid December. I will never do business with them again.
