FALSE ADVERTISING

They will tell online a part is available but they DO NOT have it! DON'T be fooled!
They won't send an email conforming the order either. TERRIBLE experience!

If I could leave this company zero stars I certainly would because I feel that they are not honest, reputable or trustworthy and that they take advantage of unsuspecting customers. I feel that they use bait & switch practices that mislead and deceive customers.
I feel that they uses extremely deceptive, deceitful and dishonest business practices and tactics to defraud customers. On 3/31/2023, I ordered parts from Sears Parts Direct for $88.76. I never received the dryer vent cover because apparently the incompetent idiot thst took my order shipped it to the wrong address and the dishwasher parts that I carefully explained ad thought I ordered was completely wrong. I was promised a refund for the door and sent a return shipping label to return the wrong dishwasher part. UPS delivered the wrong part back to Sears Parts Direct on 04/17/2023 at 8:36am and I have yet to receive a full refund. I've emailed the CEO more times than I care to admit requesting his assistance or intervention but regrettably I've received none. I feel completely scammed, cheated and robbed by this totally unethical and unscrupulous business that I feel simply takes your money but does not provide the goods or services that they took the money for. I also do not appreciate being overcharged for the parts that can be purchased on Amazon for a whole lot less money. This was a horrible and horrendous ordeal and experience that no customer should ever be put through.

Here is my experience, judge for yourself if you should buy from them. I needed an infinite switch for our electric range. The site said the part was in stock and I would get in 4 or 5 days- this turns out to be a lie and problem 1. They charged me right away before it shipped- problem 2. The day came I was to get the switch but instead I got an email from SPD saying the part was on back order and it could take up to a month to get. That was the 3rd problem. We could not wait that long so I canceled the order on chat. I also called and canceled the order the next day just to make sure. Two days later I get an email that the order still shipped even though I wanted it canceled. That's problems 4 and 5. I then had to request a return label and as soon as it got the package and put the label on it and gave it to my wife to take to her work and to include with their UPS packages. Well low and behold somehow the package is lost before UPS picked it up. I guess that problem lies with me. SPD won't give me a full refund until they get the part back. They assume no responsibility for shipping something that I canceled and place the blame all on me. Why should I even pay for shipping when I canceled the order! They can charge me for their cost of the part which is probably only $20+, but I should get the rest back! I found the switch on another site for over $20 less- problem 6!

Horrible customer service

Ordered a part online that their rep claimed to have checked was in stock and would ship and arrive to me in three days. Three days came and went with no part. Several days later I received an email claiming the part was now on backorder (I suspect it was on backorder from the get go). After multiple attempts to speak to a person and not go through a horrendously long, tedious, complicated auto system, I was told the part was on backorder with an August 1st ship date. Sounded too good to be true so again I reached out to Sears Parts Direct who informed my that that was not an actual ship date and they would be updating me on the ship date. Interestingly, their website shows the part as in stock AND backordered depending on what screen you're looking at, with a new estimated ship date of August 22nd, which again could not be confirmed. All information given by their reps was confusing at best, deceitful at worst.
It's also deceitful to claim you have a part in stock, and again claim that you've personally checked to ensure it is in stock, collect monies, and fail to ship that part as promised.
Sears, you can do better. Order canceled. Thanks for wasting my valuable time.

I ordered a part that was "in stock" to be delivered 4 days later. I check the status later that week after it did not arrive and shows it backordered for 6 months. I called and cancelled the order immediately since it wouldn't arrive in time. My card got charged a week later. I called to cancel again and was assured it would be cancelled this time and my card credited. I have called to cancel a total of four times as my status continues to show in process and credit card has still been charged. Fed Ex sent an email showing it being delivered the next day. I called again to confirm cancellation and told them that I would be refusing the delivery. The next day I refused delivery and disputed the charge with my credit card company. Two months later and I am still disputing this as Sears Parts Direct is telling Citibank that I never cancelled the order and that I am in possession of the part. I feel like I am going crazy. And am skeptical that this company is at all affiliated with the actual Sears brand.

Dishonest experience!

I ordered a Kenmore Microwave front door replacement panel on February 6,2024 for $275.20. It is now March 15,2024 and I still have not received it. When I type in my order number it indicates that it is non existent, and when trying to find out the status of my order I was transferred over to another foreign person.She asked me all the questions including my debit card number and my date of birth. She then said to find out the status of my order I had to listen to these advertisements (3) of them but don't say anything and she would come back on line each time, She said not to say anything becasue I was not obligated to buy anything so I didn't. At the end she came back on line and I asked her now what is my order status and she said something so fast in her foreign brogue and then hung up. This happened on searspartsdirect number. I immediately thought I had been hacked. I then pulled up my debit card account and sure enough someone had used my card illegally. I called the number attached to the amount taken out of my account and cancelled the charge. I waited a few more minutes and went back into my bank account and 6 more illegal transactions were taken out of my account. Of course I called my bank and reported these illegal transactions and cancelled my card. Still trying to get my money refunded ($275.20) and that hasn't happened yet nor will searsparts direct send me an email acknowledging anything. This has been a nightmare!

The Sears PartsDirect web site inadequate

The Sears PartsDirect web site inadequate, their billing, shipping, logistics do not work together as you would expect.

I ordered a part from my dishwasher, because I wanted it fixed.

I ordered a part from Sears PartsDirect on Feb 3, because they has the part in stock and the estimated delivery date was within a week. On the same day, I received an email from Sears PartsDirect stating the estimated delivery date was February 11. On Feb 8, I received an email stating there was a temporarily delayed is shipping the part. When I checked on the new estimated delivery date, it was over a month out.
I called to cancel my order, and I was told to expect a refund within 2-3 business days

On Feb 22, I was told that Sears PartsDirect was unable to cancel the order. That I would have to return the part. How do you return a part that had not been ship? As of today, my order is in "Pending" statue, and every time I have looked the Sears PartsDirect website shows the part as "in stock".

The same day I initially canceled my ordered with Sears PartsDirect, I ordered the same part from AppliancePartsPros.com. I payed more for the part, but I got the part in a few days.

Stay Away

Ordered a part that was in stock. Didn't come when it was supposed to then got a notice it was "back ordered" called same day I got the notice and told them to cancel. Never got a refund so I called again. They told me it was never cancelled because the part already shipped? How did it ship if it was back ordered? No problem we will cancel. You'll get an email conf. In 1-3 days and refund in 3-5. Never got either. Now the part came that I already bought somewhere else. Called again and they told me whoever I talked to was incorrect. Nothing was ever done. Then they tried to get me to return it. Nope sorry. I cancelled twice and once by email and you sent it anyway, come pick it up. No problem someone will call you tomorrow to get your permission to pick up the package from your property. Nobody ever called but UPS did come and leave a note on the door but never took the package. Then they came again the next day and did the same thing. Called again and they told me they will be coming back again. I told them I want my refund and they said I have to wait. Sorry you made a mistake and sent something that you shouldn't have and now I have to wait. I'm having the bank dispute the charge. This place is a total scam.

Searspartsdirect.com is a huge waste of time. It is a wonder they stay in business. I ordered a mower deck assembly with all the associated parts with the help of chat agent. The agent shared a picture of the part with me and assured me that all of the associated spindles, pulleys, bolts, springs, etc were included. I checked this with the agent several times. The agent ordered the part for me and I paid for it. Several hours later, I received a confirmation email showing only the deck housing and not all the associated parts. I contacted searspartsdirect.com again to confirm what was being sent. After struggling to understand the problem, they said only the deck housing had been ordered, despite my previous recorded chat, and that the part I had been told I had ordered not only couldn't be shipped but was not available. They asked me to call a customer service number in the future to check on whether it was available. I cancelled the order, it not being what I needed or had been discussed, but searspartsdirect.com had nothing to do or say but "sorry" (read: we mess up all the time and that's just how we roll). That being said, i still will likely waste even more time and frustration having to return the item to receive a refund. It is hard to imagine how they stay in business. Don't waste your time, go somewhere that actually can do good business and achieve customer satisfaction.

They advertise everything as being in stock, which it never is. They are actually a drop shipper. They have no inventory of their own. If you order something it will be backordered for possibly many months. It may or may not ever be delivered. Either way, you're unlikely to get a refund.

The scam their running is design to take your money regardless. The policies, which are hidden in the site, provide for no cancelations. So once you order a part you think is in stock, a day or so later you will receive an email stating it is backorder until whenever. After several of these emails, continually pushing back the shipping date, you may actually receive your order. But if you purchased expedited shipping to receive it in a few days as promised when you place the order, you're out of luck.

I have filed complaints with the BBB and FTC, which have been forwarded to Sears Holding, which owns Sears PartsDirect.

Customer service is all but non-existent. The site exists only to take advantage of people.

Buyers Beware! After confirming with SearsPartsDirect associates that products were in stock, I ordered the parts. When following up 4 days later for my tracking number I discovered the parts were on backorder. They refused to cancel my order and refund my $441.64 withdrawn from my account for the parts "in stock". After 10 days and greater than 20 phone calls later, they refuse to cancel my order and refund my money for parts they do not have. Each phone call resulted in a different story about my order from their associates. They have NO customer service leadership or dispute resolution options for consumers and they told me they do not have the ability to cancel orders. Today they tell me I have to wait to receive the part and after I receive it then I can send it back and they can begin to process a refund. When will that be? Nobody really knows. They stated today that the manufacturer shipped it to me directly but were unable to provide me with a tracking number. After contacting the manufacturer of the part, they confirmed with me that this is simply not true and they have not shipped anything to me because that would be the responsibility of SearsPartsDirect, not them. This is the most deceptive business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with and they have consistently been deceptive with their practices and fraudulent in taking my money for parts they knowingly did not have and still do not have! Avoid SearsPartsDirect at all costs and save yourself a lot of stress and money!

Shame on your shipping

Your Parts might work and ordering is for these days as ok as expected. But your Shipping is out of Order!
I paid 16$ for shipping and have to wait till some cheap Snailmail find the Time to eventually deliver my Part? It sucks when an Appliance is not working anymore and the repair should be as Quick as possible to get the Appliance back to working Order. It is of absolut no Help when Your Shipping method is as slow and unreliable as there is possible in our Days. Clean up your Act and get that Changed. It will then be a more Helpful Company you're running.
Estimated Delivery is out over a Week. No Information is sent for Shipping, as was falsely announced from You. No Shipping Information is available when using an iPhone to Access your System. Only from a PC I could find out that You have shipped the Parts with UPS Sure Mail? The Parts got on its Way with UPS and was handed over to a local Post Office.? Why? Just sent that damn Thing all the Way with UPS! For $15.99 Shipping Cost? That's Cheap Sears. Very disappointing.

I ordered a part and was told delivery would be on a Tuesday to the store in Town East Mall in Mesquite, Tx. When I checked on Tuesday was then told it wouldn't deliver till Friday. At which point I advised would be ordering the part elsewhere as I needed the part right away and could not wait. My research showed that I could not get it sooner than the option of ordering it again from sears parts direct and picking it up at another of their locations, which I did and had the part in hand on Wednesday. When I received the call that the part was at the Town East Mall store I advised to just cancel the order and refund my money. I was told I would have to call the 800 number. To make a long story short after over 1.5 hours spent on "chat" and phone calls I am told that the only way to get a refund is to drive the 20 minutes to the store, pick the part up and then ship it back to them and I will be charged for the shipping. They have no process to return it internally. The cost of the part is minimal but I will do my best to make sure that I give out this information on their unfriendly customer service policies to as many people as I possibly can and will call Sears corporate headquarters to see if they have anyone who possibly cares about their customers.

BUYERS BEWARE!... Terrible customer service. Everything is scripted. They never have parts in stock, although they claim its in stock and once you purchase they will send you a email stating that they are waiting on manufacture to restock. 3 months later your still waiting on the part and once you cancel they keep telling you they will refund and give you fake cancelation numbers just to get you off the line. What they do is they know there is a survey at the end of your call if you stay on the line and what they do is keep you on hold till you hang up so you don't leave a negative survey. They are getting smart what they do now is keep you hold and if you don't hung up they transfer you to different operator and they get the negative survey. I've cancelled my order 2 months ago and still waiting for them to process it and they keep telling me its done and to give it 3 business days to refund. I give it a week and once I call nothing has been done, they tell you that they will re-cancel it and give it 3 more business days...the cycle just goes round and round and nothing is ever being done. Soo soo frustrated with them last time I ever buy from them! And to think I had a similar experience with them 2 years ago and give them a 2nd chance. Save yourself Time and headaches and go elsewhere.

I called on chatted online to see if they had an ETA for a part listed as backordered online. The person assured me it was in stock. After I asked again, explaining that the website said it was backordered they stated that the website is under maintenance and not up to date, and confirmed again that it was in hand and would ship immediately. Still I called to double check and place the order. Again, told it was in stock, that the website it wrong, and assured it would arrive the 9/6 (pretty fast so for that I wasn't holding my breath). Surprise (not really) on 9/5 I receive an email stating the part is on backorder. I call on 9/8 to cancel the order, am told it will take up to 3 business days for the order to cancel at which time the refund will be issued. Weird it takes so long just to cancel, but fine. I checked 9/15, the order is still open. I call again and am told that it will be canceled in 24 hours. For those counting along, 9/15 is 5 business days after my cancel request, and its still going to take an extra day. I called just now, 9/16 at 18:09 est and spoke to Eileen. She placed me on a brief hold (seriously in this case, it was maybe 20 seconds) and when she hopped back on immediately issued the refund. She was the first helpful person I spoke with there, and the only one who, even after acknowledging my frustrations, didn't try to sell me on a water filter subscription or HVAC consult.

I ordered a power washer manifold on May 6th. The website stated that it was in stock. A few days later I was told it was on backorder. As I was waiting, I realized that I could buy the complete power washer new for about 20 dollars more. I tried to call Sears to cancel the order. The first time I was informed that I would be contacted within 24 hours letting me know if the order could be canceled. A week later, after not hearing from them, I called and was told that my part was back ordered (now about 3 weeks into the ordeal). That representative actually did their job and I received an email that the order was "in the process to ship." That was over a week ago and here I sit on June 15th still waiting for my part. The customer service is hit or miss, and the website lies. The Second representative also was concerned that their system still stated that the part was in-stock. From my experience, I will never be using Sears Parts Direct. Mostly due to the fact that you can't trust the website dates and the customer service/phone system sucks.

Fraudulent Website

I am a lifetime SEARS and CRAFTSMAN consumer of over 50 years. I recently ordered a part from SEARS PARTSDIRECT.COM for a CRAFTSMAN Chipper/Shredder. It was NOT the cheapest price on-line... but the part was "IN STOCK" and I needed it quickly... so I placed the order and I was IMMEDIATELY CHARGED the full cost.
After a week passed and no shipment confirmation, I contacted Customer Service. They informed me the part was on back order and they did not know availability at this time... However, the parts still showed "In Stock" on line. They told me they would get that corrected. I asked how we can find out about delivery... they said they would put in a request and it would take UP TO 3 business days to respond to me. After 4 Business days... and no response... I went on-line to cancel the order... but you cannot cancel the order on-line. So I contacted customer service and requested cancellation and refund. I am told they will submit the cancellation request and it may take up to 5 Business Days to get a response. They took my money in a millisecond but returning it may take up to 5 business days.
Are you kidding me?

Worst service I have ever used.

I ordered a part on november 8th. They shipped me the wrong part and then when I called had the gaul to tell me i ordered the wrong part. I had the order pulled up on there website and could see that I ordered the correct part. After this they sent me the wrong part again, and canceled the order and created a new one. This order never arrived and we had to reach out again to get a part. It is now December 24th and they have shipped me the wrong part again. When i called this time I was told they put the replacement order in for the wrong part.

Every time i call they say I must have ordered the wrong part and they will ship me the correct one, and they want me to keep shipping back the wrong parts they are sending me. They have not offered a refund and every time you call they try to sell you a home inspection. Sometimes they even say they are doing the home inspection as an apology and try to play it off as a gift.

If my item does not arrive correctly this time and they will not provide a refund I am considering legal action.
