This company is a scam DO NOT order from them after ordering a part for my refrigirator and got estimated delivery date once that date passed and called customer service they told me their server is down to call in few hours when I called next day they told me that their sever is still down and I coud not cancel my order either unti their server is back up

Bad Company Ethics

INDEED... This is absolutely the worse company to order appliance parts from. I ordered 3 gaskets for my Maytag refrigerator on Sept 28th, and paid for expedited shipment to reach Monday Oct 1st. When Monday came, I did not see the package, so I checked status online and it said that it was on back order. NOT GOOD...

The problem with this is why someone didn't call to say the order is back-order especially being that it was an expedited shipment? So, I called back to cancel and ordered it from a different website which got me the part in a timely manner as promised. Now I got an email that one of the part has been shipped! Like WHAT?

I called back again the next day for Sears to tell me that I have to wait until they (vendor) received the parts back in order for Sears to refund my money. Like WHAT AGAIN? Nonsense.

My issue is, I don't have anything to do with the vendor, so why have your customer wait this long for a refund that you Sears need to process right away, and you Sears can deal with the vendor.

Sears was so quick to debit my credit card for payment, but is dragging this process out just to credit back my card. I don't understand and I am very FRUSTRATED with this whole situation. I see why the company is struggling and having problems. I wouldn't be surprised if the company closes down...

This company is obnoxious. Ordered a part DG94-*******A, order # W******* and the part arrived damaged. Went online to return the part and there was no "part was damaged" option; which basically left me with 4 return options-all of which would incur a restocking fee (for their error!). Called customer service and it's a maze to get someone on the actual phone. Then I did, they set me up with a replacement order and said a return label would be sent in 24 hours. It wasn't. Called 3 days later they told me it would be sent in 15 minutes, it still wasn't. Called again the same day and they offered an excuse of "the return label couldn't be issued because the order still shows as pending" (after it had been delivered), 24 hours later, the return label arrived in my e-mail. Returned damaged product and they issued a totally incorrect refund and charged me an addition $9.95 fraudulently. Dealing with this company has been like watching a toddler try to do calculus. They have failed at every opportunity and appear to have no clue what they are doing (or they know exactly what they are doing, which makes this an actual crime)! Sad day for a once great American Company. Do better! They are doing everything they can to make sure you don't repair your own appliances. If you choose the "DIY repair" option on the phone, you won't even get an option to speak with a live person. You must choose "part is for a certified sears repair" then select 3 other options, THEN get transferred to an actual human at searspartsdirect. Even then, it seems the humans are paid to make your repair as difficult as humanly possible.

Ordered an a/c part in mid July. Got an email days later saying it was backordered. Part finally came Aug 9th but too damaged to use. Called for a refund but was told a new one would be sent and wasn't on backorder, so I agreed to wait but it was on backorder again and it took days to tell me that. I called to cancel and get refund. They said they would refund it. Days later no refund still but another even more damaged unusable part showed up instead. They put one small piece of foam on one end in the box leaving most of the fragile stuff exposed. That one small piece of foam is the only padding in the whole box. Had to call again for the 4th time to ask for a refund again, and had to go buy tape, repair the box and get it to UPS to send it back again to get a refund. They had me send damage pictures in and said refund would be 3-5 more days. 2 weeks later and still no refund. I call again and now I'm being told that someone will call me in 2-3 days, while we sit in over 100 degree east Texas heat and over 90 in the house where we can hardly get sleep for 7 weeks, waiting for the $585 refund so we can buy one locally. I am disabled and cannot afford to buy another one until they give my money back so we are stuck in a sweltering hot house.
Do not buy from Sears!

Never Again

Worst experience online ever.
With my washer broken I need a part ASAP to enable my family to have clean clothes quickly. The online site showed the part was in stock so this would get me the part in a few days. After checking the status of the order I found out that the part was not in stock and back ordered. So the simple solution was to cancel the order and buy from another source. I called the service number and canceled the order and told my refund would show on my card in a few days. I now ordered the part from a different source and because of the delay (3 days now) paid the cost of overnight shipping. Fast forward one week and now my email says the part that I canceled is on its way from Sears. Now for the worst part. I call sears and explain what happened the person says they see the cancelation and that if I would return the part they would refund the money. THIS IS FRAUD. The moment that sears received my cancelation for the backordered part I was no longer responsible financially. The phone rep could not comprehend this so I asked to speak with a manager. The rep could not reach a manager and after 30 or so on the phone said that the manager would call me. I never got the call nor was I able to talk to a manager on the second attempt. After 3 days of frustration, a difficult phone tree and ignorant reps, I finally was able to speak to a knowledgeable manager. It has been two weeks now since I ordered the part and I still have not received the refund!

Worst Experience ever
December 2, 2022

I ordered a part online showing 'IN STOCK" and delivery date two weeks away. Order date was Nov 19 and delivery date Nov 28. There was no update to the order on the 28th so I called. The agent said the order was delayed. I told the agent I wanted to cancel the agent said the item was scheduled to be shipped on Dec 1st. I agreed to keep the order but wanted to see about a credit for shipping. The agent said they had to email a different department but would check on it. December 2nd, the order shows pending. I called to check on my refund as well as order status. The agent states the order is in cancellation status. I ask to speak to a supervisor who hangs up before I even state my issue. I call back and get a more helpful agent. I am told the item is still on backorder and no timeframe on when it will ship. He helps with my refund and apologizes. My problem is I needed the item quickly. It showed in stock and never was. I was never notified of the issue and when I checked my online order there was nothing indicating a problem. Basically, order at your own risk. I order thousands of online items and never have an issue. My suggestion is to stay away from sears.

I ordered the air filters for my Kenmore Elite Stove Top hood. The are aluminum and quite expensive. I gave them the part number right off the hood. No problem, they said and it was on it's way. Well it got here pretty quickly, but it was the wrong part. These were the right width but 3 inches too long. So, I called them and told them the problem and told them about the length being wrong. The guy said he understands and will ship the right filters. Another week and I get them. Same ones as the first ones except these were even damaged in shipping.
Getting quite frustrated, I called again. I ended up making 3 different calls. On the second one the guy gave me a part number that was one number off of the ones that had been mailed to me. Then he came back and said that he was wrong and that the ones shipped to me were the correct ones. I got off the phone before I got really angry.
I tried one more time and said that I wanted to speak with a supervisor. Waited on hold for almost an hour before this lady named Leah started telling the the same old story.
I told her to look up this other number. (I swear the next part I am not making up) She asked me what color my vent hood was. I told her it was black. She said that this number would not work because it only works with white hoods. After getting over being stunned by such a silly answer, I told her when I bought them I had a choice of white, black and stainless steel. The filters fit all of them. At that point I just hung up. These people have a script that they stick too no matter how silly it is. I won't just not buy anything from Sears again, I won't even go into a Sears store. I believe that they will soon follow Wards and disappear and you know what, no one will miss them..

Power Surge TWICE in a ROW----------Literally... BURNT------the Control Panel for our WATER HEATER--OH noooooooo-------saw a GREAT Price on Searspartsdirect--------don't be fooled ------their customer service rating online is 1.3 stars for a REASON--------so I --put our part number into the Google Search bar--and up---Popped --WALMART--who states that if i'm willing to pay an extra shipping fee--they could have the part sent to me --and it will ARRIVE in TWO DAYS-------WOOO-hooooooo--was it WORTH IT-----YOu BETCHA IT WAS--------(having hot water is not over-rated) so WORTH IT---I want to let you know---I did call the customer service dept. at SearsPartDirect--they were cold hearted--and --said---it would take them 10 days------------and they don't offer Expedited shipping even if I am willing to Pay Extra for it!... go to WALMART dudes!...

First, the coupon code they advertised for a 10% discount was not applied to my order. When I called customer service, they took 28 minutes of me holding, going back and fourth to try to figure out how to resolve this. They finally offered to cancel the first order (my "card would be refunded in 5-7 business days"), and place the order again with the 10% discount. After hanging up I saw they are increased the price of the water filter 4 dollars for this second order. So I wasted 30 minutes on a call, to have a discount that saved me $5 applied, but they sneakily increased the price of the item for no reason. So I called right back to explain... The rep this time told me no, $58 was the correct price (it had magically increased in 30 minutes of waiting on the call), even telling me that was the price on the website, even though I was looking at the price online, and had the confirmation email showing the lower price for the first order. Because I persisted and kept having to reexplain (it seems she did not want to listen or understand what I was saying), she finally said "ok, let me see what I can do." After another long hold, she came back and said "sorry, prices on filters can change based on demand", which is crazy since I had ordered this less than 50 minutes ago, and I was looking at their website with the correct lower price, and then she offered to cancel the second order, change me the new higher price, and take off the $11.99 shipping cost. I said fine, because this was a bigger savings, but they still could not explain why they were charging me a higher cost than listed on their website, and I had paid in my first order less then an hour earlier. Very unprofessional reps who make you repeat your issue again and again. I will never order from this site again, seems they are using the Sears name but being very shady and trying to change us much as they can and sneak charges by.

Why didn't I read the reviews before purchasing something from here? Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I needed a new panel for my stove on 6/30/20. The item showed in stock for $390. I ordered it with expedited shipping which was $45. After ordering, I received a confirmation email and then I checked the item status. It immediately was back ordered. After calling multiple times and waiting >20 min each time for service, they agreed to try to cancel the order. Only they didn't. Instead, they sent me an email saying they couldn't reach the supplier and it was too late, they were going to ship it anyways but I could send it back. This was odd considering the fact that they could get status of the order from the supplier but not cancel it. I called again and they said they would refund the items after I shipped them back and there was nothing else I could do. The item didn't ship until 7/23, the original order was to have it delivered by 7/3 and I tried to cancel as early as 7/1. I waited and received the items and immediately shipped them back. As of 8/12/20 I am still waiting for my refund. The items were returned on 7/27/20. They only partially refunded my expedited shipping fee, they claimed the rest was for shipping. I have about lost it on these people. I have tried to explain so many times that this is their mistake, not mine. They broke the contract when they couldn't deliver my parts when their website claimed it could by 7/3. I want my money back and they are holding it hostage. In fact they charged my card before they even knew what the status was. Oh and still haven't received my refund for the actual parts, even though they have received them and had them since 7/30/20. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!
