The Leap chairs I purchased arrived looking almost brand new and were by far the lowest price I could find. The shipping was quick and I'm really satisfied. I will definitely buy from seatingmind.com again.
I am in the process of reporting Seatingmind to the Federal Trade Commission, the US Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau. I have also filed a dispute with my credit card and reported this company as fraudulent.
I have tried over five times to contact Seatingmind to cancel my order. I never received a response. Seatingmind was quick to charge my credit card, but completely failed to actually give me my purchase: that is called theft.
I am in the process for needing some concerns addressed...I ordered an Aeron Chair with a headrest. On March 7,2019 and I just received it today April 1,2019. The order I received was just the chair with no headrest. I paid the additional fee for the headrest and wondered where it is. Also on my previous order I have a chair that has a tear in the seat. It was there when we pulled it out to put together. I am needing to know what my next step is.

I was referred by a friend! I like the price, the ability to do some minor customizations (new wheels on a chair), etc. But there's vagueness on when I will actually get my chair, so we'll see how I feel then.
The chair I purchased was refurbished, and I was quite displeased with the job done. The seams of the new upholstery are uneven and unfinished. In many places a black lining shows where it shouldn't. It doesn't look like a new chair--it's very clearly been recovered.
The left arm of the chair is also not adjustable. The lever is broken.
Overall, it's still a very sturdy and comfortable chair, but I would warn anyone considering buying one that the look and functionality are quite subpar.
The website was very helpful to compare the features of various chairs but once I put it in my cart the receipt does NOT reflect the various features I choose. This is an important disconnect that could lead to problems.
I love chair I ordered. The time it took to receive was reasonable and I would order again. The issue I had was the order said it shipped and my credit card was charged. I later found out, after delivery date had passed, that order was not sent and was not ready yet. I was contacted after I made inquires and found out the order was not ready for delivery. This bothered me greatly. Everything turned out fine. But the experience not so good.
The overall chair is extremely comfortable and I am happy with the purchase but the material stitching quality on the seat was less than I anticipated. I also feel that the company could improve upon the communication regarding shipping. I anticipated that my order was processed and I would receive the chair very shortly. The reality is that the chair is ordered and processed and that is approx. 10-15 business days prior to being available to ship.
I loved the options with manufacturers and all the refurbished models. I understand that the chair is refurbished and I am happy to have found this chair type of chair at this price, but the chair was extremely dusty when we received it in the box. Also, we need a certain tool to put it together. I would have appreciated knowing in advance that I would need it.
My Aeron chair broke within 18.months of purchase.
They will not honor the terms of their warranty and repair the chair. And they will not give me the manufacturing information / serial number I need to file a claim with the manufacturer which makes me wonder how honestly the company acquires their merchandise.
It took 3 months for them to send me a.replacement part and they sent it without instructions.
The chair is ok. Its a little more banged up than I was expecting, but is remanufactured so...
The color of the fabric online did not represent the chair that was delivered. Not sure if there was a mix-up, or if the color was just misrepresented.
The chair needs to be taller than its highest position. I have heard that you can get a stiffer hydraulic support for more height, but I'm not sure that is true, but I am a little low for my legs to be at a right angle. I am a big guy, but per the sizing chart, the model C should be able to accommodate me.
I would leave 1 star if I could. Seatingmind.com is either run by fools or criminals (or both!). I ordered a Size C Herman Miller chair. I paid extra for size C, I paid extra for the headrest, and I paid extra for the lumbar pad.
After 4-5 weeks the package arrived. Size B chair (much smaller than what we ordered and paid extra for), and no headrest or lumbar pillow.
I immediately contacted them to begin the return and they tried to convince me to keep the wrong chair for a discount. So laughable!
After having to schedule all of the return pick up information with FedEx myself, Several days after the order was returned to them I still have not received my refund. After completing multiple times they finally refunded me 75% of my order. I wrote to them and let them know that it was absolutely ridiculous that they did not refund me my full amount and that they better not try to say it was a restocking fee! They sent me the wrong item and they charged me for things without sending them to me. I truly believe that they sent the wrong item on purpose so that they could keep a "restocking fee"!
This company is so shady and not to be trusted. After I complained and threatened to leave horrible reviews they agreed to give me my full refund back. Guess what? It has been 3 weeks with no reply from this company in any way, shape, or form and I haven't seen my money.
So I guess I paid $112 just for the honor of spending 3 months stressing and arguing with people and wasting hours of my time calling, sending emails, I'm now writing reviews on every platform I can. Trust me! The prices are attractive but it is NOT WORTH IT!

Looking for Steelcase Chair at the best price, so I decided to go with a refurbished chair from Seating Mind. After I placed my order, I started reading terrible reviews and was very worried. However, my chair arrived in just a few days. It was exactly what I ordered and was in nearly perfect condition. I am very pleased with my order.
I received my chair. While I didn't realize that Seatingmind.com sells "refurbished" office furniture, It seems that my chair is in overall "very good" condition. So for the price I'd say its worth it.
*** BUYER BEWARE *** If you look at the Terms, although the title is "Money Back Guarantee", the text says "We should never be held liable in the event we decide not to refund your purchase price in part or in full or if we decide not to pay for return shipping."
The chair arrived 7 weeks after ordering. The height and tilt adjustment weren't working. I was fortunate to find a local technician who could fix it. The height adjustment cylinder had a broken seal, and the front tilt cam also needed to be replaced. I sent receipts to Seating Mind to reimburse the repair, and they wrote back that they "do not pay for expert assembly."
Would not buy from Seating Mind again, both because they were unresponsive during the delay and because the chair arrived non-functional.
The quality of one chair was poor, handle cracked and broke, arm on chair poorly positioned and angled down not even with other side, asked to return chair took over a week to get a return label, asked for a refund and they said they would send a replacement. Chair has been returned and Do NOT want a replacement, not sure if I have been given the refund.
Firstly, the chairs took forever to arrive. And now that they have, there are no instructions on how to properly assemble the back part of the chair or how to maneuver the chairs at all. When I called the customer service line, they told me to email or leave a message. This isn't great customer service at all
Ordered and paid April 25th should have shipped in a few days and everything was copacetic, no disclaimers about delays due to Covid19. Wait for item to arrive, nothing. Contacted them 12 days later and go figure, the excuses and blame of Covid19, blah, blah, blah, "we're so sorry the item will ship in the next 5-7 days and we will notify you if there are any further delays". Well, guess what? I forget, another 28 days goes by and still nothing, no contact, no product, no follow-up. Well, customer service clearly is lacking. You know, if you want to blame Covid19 that's fine. Communicate with your customers proactively, not re-actively. And when all else fails and you screw up, offer them something for wasting their time waiting when they could have purchased elsewhere, it isn't rocket science people...
I was shocked that when I received the chair that it was dirty and appeared to be used. Nowhere in the main heading of the item that I ordered did it state that it was a "used" or "refurbished" chair. Only later after we received the chair did I go back to the item on your website and found a statement near the bottom that said could be a new or refurbished chair. I think this is bad business and is very sneaky of your company to not be upfront about the item. Because I used Google as a search and was searching for a specific chair, it took me to the page for that chair so I also did not visit your homepage to see that you sell "refurbished" chairs. It should be made more clear (and the product should come in better condition) before customers purchase so they are aware of what they are purchasing.
I ordered a Herman Miller, Aeron Type B, but measuring the chair, it looks like I received a Type C large chair. I didn't see any place to contact customer service. Ebay, just had a link for a refund. This chair will do, but was thinking about buying a 2nd chair, but holding off since I'm afraid that I won't get the correct product. Wouldn't mind speaking with someone who can clarify issue.
