Seeking Alpha is an excellent platform, that helps to gauge stocks & do the right picks. Has a great team of Authors that provide very useful info & insight with all the details in all market segments. Very pleased with the overall experience. Good luck..
Had a problem loading data from my broker. The support team at Seeking Alpha responded immediately, diagnosed my problem, and updated me with progress as a vendor worked through the issues. I took a couple weeks to resolve, but I was very pleased with the level of service.
Thank you so much for taking a moment to review us, Henry! We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and we’re happy to hear Seeking Alpha customer service hit the mark for you.

Don't waste your money with this service! The service cannot link my broker which is Fidelity. The service folks they have cannot speak nor understand English. Also, their suggestions for stocks are generally late and the market has already moved. Again, don't waste your money!
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your note and we apologize for any misunderstanding.
We'd love to gain a better understanding of what had transpired and provide an amicable solution.
You can refer to the following article, it has all the details regarding how you link your broker account with a Premium/PRO subscription - https://feedback.seekingalpha.com/en/knowledge-bases/2/articles/127904-can-i-link-my-broker-account-to-my-seeking-alpha-portfolio

I have 3 issues with this site. It allows any tom $#*! and harry to put out articles, including people who have no clue about investing but make it sound like they do. Following clueless people in investing your money is one thing, but letting people with obvious monetary interest mess your mind up with biased or false info is another. That is, short sellers can put out negative write ups to knock stocks down, and it almost seems like they time it with coordinated short attacks. Look at ticker Gale as an example. Then, what really ticks me off is when I respond to the articles by calling out what is happening the moderators censor my comments repeatedly. Stay away from Seeking Alpha, completely untrustable IMHO.

Zero questions about SA except how it still exists. Hackery at its best. You may learn a bit about companies, but there are so many ignorant opinions claimed as fact, I promise, you'll walk away with as much wrong info as correct. Novices particularly avoid & please read who these authors are. This is the Used Cal Dealership of Finance Sites & we all know how lemons taste.

The uninitiated will be flooded with information on Seeking. The writings want to score your click. Other than that the author has a profit motive in play, either selling you some historical charts, ETF speak, letters, books, etc. It gets very tiring and eventually one can see how little most of this applies to an average investor.

Overall a great site for anyone interested in the stock market - and equities in particular. Combines a wealth of statistical data into easily understood metrics allowing those not versed in financial statistics to determine the growth potential, value of, momentum of a given stock.
One great thing is the inclusion of OTC stocks (those 5 letter stocks ending in Y). It's hard to get any information beyond basic stats on many worthwhile international companies - Seeking Alpha has articles on most all of them - often several. That's another strength - the shear amount of neverending content.
And that's also the problem. Analysts vary from the self-trained retail investor to the hedge fund manager, with little distinction between them in terms of the importance of their ratings for stocks. This means you have to be wary of just one article - you never know how well the person is trained to discuss the stock and whether they likely have all relevant information to do so.
Super premium investment clubs are a rip-off as well.
Thanks for your wonderful feedback, Corey!

Most authors not only have no knowledge of finance or the industries and stocks they cover, but also display exceptionally poor logic and writing skills.
In addition, the editors act as a deterrent to whatever quality content could slip into the site, since they heavily promote their 'friends and family'.
Wouldn't read Seeking Alpha for free, let alone pay for it.

I'm new to SA premium and so far I like what I see. The site is well organized and provides useful and actionable information that one might normally have to visit many sites to obtain. Support has been super responsive too. Since anyone can be an author, I wish it were easier to learn about an author's qualifications and experience. Currently, you can click on their name and read but what is provided is not uniform across authors. A welcome format might include, education, certifications (e.g CFA) experience in investing and in what areas, if applicable, size of portfolio managed, etc.".

Unqualified authors that generate clickbait based on hyperbole. Very few of them have actual financial qualifications. There are some authors that encourage frequent trading and make ridiculous claims. Articles are very long but say very little. Many authors simply cut and paste excerpts from industry sell-side reports. Virtually no new ideas on this site. The content is like reading an 8th grade essay written by a student with a thesaurus.

Articles are very long yet say very little. Breaking news reports are full of factual errors. Extremely narcissistic authors with limited credentials. Financial data, which is freely available on many reputable sites like Yahoo Finance, are being put under a paywall on Seeking Alpha. Complete waste of money.

I won't read any articles by seeking alpha, they are a truly slanted organization due to the known, concerted anti-EV effort being funded by the Koch Bros. Also many in the company are shorting tesla along with their founders.
Total click bait site.
Hi Sam,
Thank you for your note, and apologies for it took us this long to reach back to you.
We strive to ensure all our articles are factually correct but we do not keep any biases towards anybody's opinion. Authors are allowed to publish bullish/bearish articles on stocks that are long/short (respectively), providing they disclose their bias. Active investors with "skin in the game" often have some of the most articulate opinions on a stock, and we encourage them to publish their opinions on Seeking Alpha.
If you find a Seeking Alpha article containing a material factual inaccuracy, you can dispute it using the following steps:
Submit a dispute by emailing disputes@seekingalpha.com. Please be sure to include a link to the article under dispute in addition to the above information.
Identify precisely which section of the article you dispute (quoting the text), and provide supporting evidence of your claim that the article is materially wrong.
(Please do not use the dispute process to disagree with the author. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion about a stock; that's what makes a market.)
In any case, please always feel free to write to us at subscriptions@seekingalpha.com

After reading several reviews in here, I concluded to state my review. My experience with this website is that it creates hype on positions to get investors to buy and then the website (supposed analyst) change their perspective when the situation merits to their advantage. Not a objective source of information. Stay away. Sadly, Google engine prioritizes this POS.

Seeking Alpha gets a lot of negativity that it really doesn't deserve. This site relies on crowdsourced content, so obviously some authors are going to be better and some are going to be awful. You can easily see an author's track record compared to how the stock is doing and that's how you can know whether to trust their opinion or not.
The author opinions are actually a good resource. You get another method for evaluating stocks. I've incorporated this into my decision making process, and haven't looked back.

The most comprehensive financial website for investors looking to research publicly traded companies. When initiating research on a company, I will first look to Seeking Alpha. Along with stock analysis articles, the website provides earnings transcripts and a breaking news section. I highly recommend the site for those interested in the stock market.

The idea that you should take advice from amateur investors who take a stab at amateur writing about how you should invest in the stock market is unthinkable. I can't believe people would blindly follow SeekingAlpha like a bunch of lemmings.

I have been following many of the writers on seeking alpha for many years. I recently became a premium member and use the information everyday. It gives me perspective on stocks from several authors with different opinions which I find very useful when I am evaluating purchasing a new position. I use this in combination with other services including Stansberry, Oxford Club, Sure Dividend and Kiplinger.

For USA equities and financial trends and news this site is excellent. The people who wrote analysis are experts and I find it very useful to understand what's behind things like the current bank crises, interest rates and trends. They need to add more international companies like Hong Kong, India, and Canada so that we can get in on these great grow8ng markets.

I have found 'Seeking Alpha' to be one of the best sources of stock market information. What I particularly like is how quickly one can obtain a comprehensive review of any stock. As you do your research, there will be certain firms you prefer to use for various reasons. SA will rapidly rise to the top of your list. WWW

This site has more information and advice than my local library! You can even find information on warrants and that's very hard to find anywhere. They also compare 4 or 5 other stocks similar to the one you looked up. Plus, much, much more.

Answer: There was only one question in the are of your question: it was do they work in eastern time zone? I'm in the Central time zone and all times reflect my time. Although I didn't see any option to change to Eastern time. If I had to guess, I would think it could set local to members because they got everything else so right.
