I have found 'Seeking Alpha' to be one of the best sources of stock market information. What I particularly like is how quickly one can obtain a comprehensive review of any stock. As you do your research, there will be certain firms you prefer to use for various reasons. SA will rapidly rise to the top of your list. WWW
This site has more information and advice than my local library! You can even find information on warrants and that's very hard to find anywhere. They also compare 4 or 5 other stocks similar to the one you looked up. Plus, much, much more.
Thanks for your wonderful feedback, Richard!

I was supposedly issued a refund by SA but two weeks later I have seen $0. Maybe they need the money more than I do. Got nowhere with the Customer Service rep who tells me to call my bank which I did and they have not seen any type of refund. Not sure where I go next but I am not giving up.

"Seeking Alpha premium is perfect for me. I can quickly research a stock I am interested in. I can find higher-rated stocks in the same sector to compare. My yearly subscription fee cost was covered by my profits during the free trial. It is a super service!".

The website is a great concept. My only problem with it is that a few authors are favored against the others. In their trending section, you will often see the same authors every day.
It would be great if SA authors invested in the stocks they recommend. But I wonder whether 'prolific' authors like Brad Thomas who writes at times five articles per day really invest in these companies.
Another issue is that Abby Carmel is so biased against a certain group of authors from certain regions. She is a director of contributor success.
Hi Mary,

This is one of the worst services I have ever used. Starting off with the good, the app works fine. The information provided isn't earth shattering and can easily be found for free within your normal trading apps. I find no reason at all someone would actually pay for their service. After using their service for a year, yeah I'm that sucker that paid for a full year i fill it was a complete waste of money to add insult to injury I was auto charged for this upcoming year and when I finally realized I was charged I asked for a prorated refund which I have been denied. I guess there own stock picks arnt working for them and they need my money. I would recommend never using this company but if you do please remove your payment method from them so they don't rip you off even more.
Hi Randy,

It's too early to tell. I've been sticking my toes in the water since mid-May. How to evaluate the different analyses: Authors, Wall St. And Quant. I would like to think that Quant is the most reliable on average, but remains to be seen. Upgrades and downgrades happen quite quickly from day to day and I'm not willing to be glued to my screen. Still, my portfolio has been in positive territory-- 5%-10%. ATOS was a disappointment, but we'll see what happens.
Hi Gerard,
Thank you so much for taking a moment to review us!

Seems the new business model and the new editor at SA have a mandate to pick on the smallest insignificant detail to avoid paying contributors for their work. There are other places to publish that do not the crooked editors who want to get as much content as possible without paying. Avoid.

A site full of repetitive trivia regarding financial matters. If you waste your time reading this collection of overly pampered authors you will develop a distaste and and distrust of all things stocks. They all love one thing -- your "click"/and/or subscribing to their site or financial easy speak. Beware.
Hi Jason,
Thanks for your note and we apologize for it took us this long to reach back to you.
We strive to ensure all our articles are factually correct but we do not keep any biases towards anybody's opinion. Authors are allowed to publish bullish/bearish articles on stocks that are long/short (respectively), providing they disclose their bias. Active investors with "skin in the game" often have some of the most articulate opinions on a stock, and we encourage them to publish their opinions on Seeking Alpha.
If you find a Seeking Alpha article containing a material factual inaccuracy, you can dispute it using the following steps:
Submit a dispute by emailing disputes@seekingalpha.com. Please be sure to include a link to the article under dispute in addition to the above information.
Identify precisely which section of the article you dispute (quoting the text), and provide supporting evidence of your claim that the article is materially wrong.
(Please do not use the dispute process to disagree with the author. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion about a stock; that's what makes a market.)
In any case, please always feel free to write to us at subscriptions@seekingalpha.com

From the depths not so good service, Garima intervened to really provide amazingly good solutions and service. Her responses were prompt and she was able to successfully resolve the issues I had. She is a real asset to Seeking Alpha. We have peculiar regulations in India that need local as well as international understanding... which she has loads of. More power to you and her!

SeekingAlpha moderators do not allow opposing views in the comments section. I tried to post a factual, on-point response to a comment from "Jason Cawley, Contributor" on article https://seekingalpha.com/article/*******-bonds-yields-continue-mystify
But my comment was not allowed to see the light of day. I'm cancelling my membership and unsubscribing from their mails ASAP. Censorship will not be tolerated.

SA provides a vast array of opinion articles on companies that I follow. Both the disclosures and comments at the bottom of the articles also allow me to put these opinions into perspective. I also look forward to receiving my daily pre-market summary.

It's frustrating to see Seeking Alpha news articles show up in my finance apps. Their articles are incredibly biased, self serving, and many of the authors credentials are questionable. I wouldn't trust any information from their articles.

I was once a paying member but got burned after following bad advice by a 'so called expert'... ever since, I run the name behind ANY stock rating I consider following through tipranks.com search engine and I strongly advise all of you to do the same before acting on online stock advice..

I like the different editorials. Especially those from both sides of the coin. Then it leaves me to make a decision. Some very good authors and analysis. I would be willing to pay extra for live after hours quotes as these seem to not be live Alpha Picks has surprised me as they appear to be pulling rabbits out of a hat with companies totally not on my radar, and are outperforming my own choices. The company appears to be well run and very focused, not trying to be everything to everybody. If not a subscriber I would highly reccomend giving it a try.

I am a novice Seeking Alpha subscriber and learned a great deal from the service. I was not aware that my subscription was set to auto-renew and had planned to take a hiatus before resubscribing. When my subscription auto-renewed I asked for the charges to be reversed I received an immediate affirmative reply and received my refund in hours.
This business has integrity. I learned that I had consented to the auto-renew and they could have insisted on the charges but they courteously did not. This is the kind of customer service that engenders loyalty in customers. I will rejoin when I have time to utilize the vast array of services offered. I salute this company for excellence in their business practices. Thanks Seeking Alpha!

I would encourage any investor or trader to check out SeekingAlpha. I took advantage of their 2-week trial period. I'm glad I did.
I'm pretty new to investing in equities. I've owned only mutual funds through my 401k. However, I'm now retired, and I'm learning to manage my retirement capital and do my own investing. It's important to me to treat it like a business.
During my trial period, I did as much reading on their site as I could. As it turns out, it's beyond the level of information I can absorb as a newbie. I decided not to subscribe at this time. At some point in the future as my level of knowledge increases, I'll definitely try SeekingAlpha again. There's likely a future time when I'll find their content beneficial toward my investing goals and more than worth the subscription price.
If you're unsure and haven't explored what's available on SeekingAlpha, treat yourself to the 2-week trial and dig in.
Thanks for your wonderful feedback, Dan!

This site is the poorest site for market information and news that I have come across. I joined, and shortly thereafter was not able to post what were clearly respectful, yet factual disagreements with contributors... especially those of HDO, their number one service and biggest income stream, who cranks out "bate" to the tune of several times per week. Seeking alpha protects its income first and foremost:! Fair debate on issues is entirely absent, and the HDO clearly appears to front run their recommendations. Spend your time and money elsewhere! BUYER BEWARE!

Answer: There was only one question in the are of your question: it was do they work in eastern time zone? I'm in the Central time zone and all times reflect my time. Although I didn't see any option to change to Eastern time. If I had to guess, I would think it could set local to members because they got everything else so right.
