I have purchased several items from SGS and have never been disappointed. All my purchases have arrived in good time and continue to give me reliable service.

Ordered two Focus struts and they arrived next day; the SGS web showed a video as to how to fit the struts; service could not be better; will use them again and highly recommend other customers to use them; they are simply SPOT ON.

Good quality Toolchest, very well packaged (box in a box). Only tiny gripe was no 'shipped' e mail as promised, but did get one from courier on morning of delivery. All in all very pleased!

Rock solid products for a good price. I bought the 3-ton trolley jack and having been impressed also bought the adjustable car creeper, axle stands and a mechanics seat. Highly recommended.

Recently purchased and installed a pair of struts for the boot lid of my Alfa 156. Excellent product (gas struts for car boot), useful video on SGS site, reasonable cost. Recommended.

I have bought a few things from SGS, air compressor, air tools and hose etc and have been pleased with the delivery time, the products have been great for my DIY use and can't fault them i just ordered some more hose and fittings which arrived today :) . I will order more things as i need them from SGS no problem :) will need some Milwaukee items soon :)

Ordered £400 cordless impact wrench which was advertised on their website with a case and a bag. When I received the tool the case is broken inside, and outside it was very dusty, I could see from the molding dates that it's nearly 3 years old. Which means the batteries could not last very long. I also did not receive the bag they advertised. I emailed them and said I did not get the bag that was advertised on their website and the case was broken. They replied saying they had run out of bags so I got a case instead. I replied showing a screenshot of their website which said both a bag and a case. They came back and bascially said tough you are not getting the bag we advertised. They also said to send photos of the damaged case, these were already pasted into the first email I send and were in the reply they sent back to me!. It looks like they don't even bother properly reading their customers emails! Since then they have not replied and are just ignoring me. I wish I had bought the impact wrench form someone else as SGS don't appear to care if what you receive is broken and not as advertised on their website. This was my first SGS order and will be my last, I'll spend my money with someone who cares about their customers.

Brilliant tool box, sturdy, large professional and as good as a snap off. Get me bought. Also delivered really quickly and the driver helped me unbox it, all round 10/10.

I would rate them if there is less than one star. Horrible customer service, keep providing false information. Specially there customer service team (most of them)they are arrogant and disgraceful.
I never seen such kids of bad peoples in my life.
I ordered generator, then they give me a price and They promise me to have me 3 to five business days. I paid more money for express shipment then they start playing... I end up not receiving the generator for more than a month. I am residing USA and I make international phone calls every single day and they providing false information. Finally they sent out my generator with wrong reciver name and contact information. I clearly stated and sent them multiple times who must be received. But they don't even know why they did like that. As of today I haven't able to collect my generator and every time when I call to ask they transfer my phone one to the other and they are not able to make correct their own mistakes. It was time sensitive matter.

We have just started using SGS Engineering this year, we are a Engineering and Hydraulic Company. We have had Air Compressor, Gas Struts, Tool Boxes and some Hand Tools from them, they service and pricing are excellent. I have now place them on our main suppliers list so we can use them again and so can our stores and workshop staff.

Great website and helpful staff on the phone. My gas struts came next day, and with the help from the video on the website i fitted them in less than 2 minutes. Very happy. Would highly recommend

Ordered a motorcycle lift after contacting them and confirming costs to deliver to my postcode. Made payment for extra carriage and placed order online. Later that day someone else within their company cancelled the order on the grounds that they don't deliver to my area - talk about a lack of internal communication ability!
I sorted it out on the phone the next day, the order was re-instated. It then took over a week for delivery (unacceptable, sort out your couriers!) and no contact from SGS despite requesting a tracking number and courier details more than once!
The lift itself - once here - seems to be of reasonable quality and works well, although there is a minor issue with the foot pedal travel limiting bolt, which is fitted at the wrong angle to work correctly, and is lacking in a locknut to secure the bolt and prevent it vibrating in or out.
Not so good, however, is the moveable vice (wheel clamp), which is designed to be moveable within slots on the bed to facilitate a wide range of front tyre widths... well, it's a good idea, until you weld a steel bar across the underside of the slots, resulting in only 5mm of adjustment instead of 50!
Also, my moveable vice (wheel clamp, but I suppose it's translated from chinese somewhere along the lines...) has been manufactured incorrectly, causing it to apply uneven pressure to the front wheel when in use. I have contacted SGS about this, and as usual they have failed to respond! I will go down the route of lodging a formal refund request via my credit card company if I have to, and just go buy the Clarke one from Machine mart instead...

It's my second time to buy tools from SGS and once again they've done a great service. I received my order within 24hrs. I highly recommend them to anyone.
