Shoebuy sent me a pair of $70 Minnetonka moccasins that had holes in them. Inv# ******* HOLES that were NOT supposed to be there! They will not help me fix this problem and just keep insisting that I use their messed up return policy that charges me for their mistake! And I have to schlep the package back to the PO or whatever. Do not use this company... they do not care about their customers!
This Company is a mess it showed online order by 12 pm and it ships same day well I ordered a North face osito jacket on Friday morning and it's Monday and still hasn't shipped. Wish I had read these reviews and the reviews on Better business website about this company.

Shoe buy changed its return policy and now charges a $7.00 overstock fee per pair of shoes returned. The did not make it known anywhere that this was their new policy, unless you want to look where it says in huge letters FREE SHIPPING and then in small letter + exchanges - and then deduce on your own "oh, they must have changed their policy." I called customer service and the two people I spoke with sounded like they were half asleep and speaking to me from their kitchen tables. This company has become SO unprofessional and so NOT customer oriented it is only a matter of time before they are GONE. Do yourself a huge favor and shop at Zappos and Amazon where the customer is treated fairly and with respect! I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

In the event you prefer not to exchange for a new item, there is a restocking fee. I can appreciate that you’re disappointed with our policy, but again, should you opt to exchange, we’re happy to help you find new styles or items to try.
The color of the shoes was completely different from that shown. I assume they were made in some even-cheaper third world cesspool by slave labor. Contacted customer service and was dismissed.
I've purchased one pair of high quality, motion-control walking shoes from them and had no problems. About a week after making the purchase, I received exactly what I had ordered.
I like some of their boots, but after reading the horror story reviews, I purchased from a different retailer. Buy from Amazon, zappos, 6pm or other shoe site. That's what I did and had no problems.

I purchased a shoe online thru PayPal, they charged my bank account twice. They said the first try was to verify the account is correct, but the hell why their charged a second time? I called twice spoke to 2 different girls that sounded like they're in another country, then I asked to speak to a manager the second time who told me he only see one charge. Told me some type of policy crap that didn't make any sense whatsoever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF. DO DON'T IT, THE QUALITY ISN'T EVEN WORTH IT.
I'm very surprised at the negative reviews of ShoeBuy.com. I've been a customer for many years (almost since its inception) and can honestly say that I've never really had anything but good experiences with them. I've never had a problem with returns or exchanges; the customer service has always been prompt and courteous; and I don't understand why people are complaining about cost. Every time I order, I use the rewards that I've accumulated + whatever discount (usually 25% or 30%, most recently) is being promoted.
People can't expect to return new shoes that have *clearly* been worn and expect a full refund or exchange.
As for "the size charts being way off," where does that come from? Do you not know what size shoe you wear? If I'm ordering in a different brand than I'm accustomed to, I'll often order two sizes just to make sure that one of them fits. I find the descriptions of the shoes helpful, as they will often include instructions to the potential buyer to size up or size down, because the manufacturer in question runs small or large, as the case may be.
I also like the new layout of the site, with large images of the shoes, and from all angles (most of the time; not always).
I purchased a pair of shoes from this company and see they made an error in what I was charged... I've attempted to email them multiple times only to receive a robot response... clearly no human being read the email because the answer doesn't even make any sense to the question... then I've tried to call at least 20 times only to be put on hold for 30 minutes and disconnected... there is NOBODY AT THIS COMPANY WHO IS GOING TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL... BUYER BEWARE

You'd be much better off finding an online shoe company who does not charge a restock fee. Most don't. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes in the wrong size, not knowing this brand runs small. It's not like there's a true way to read a size chart on shoes. It's definitely different from clothes. I was hoping to exchange but one pair isn't available in my correct size so if I don't exchange them and return instead then I'm charged $6.95 as a restock fee for each pair. Give me a break! It's shoes, not a pallet of bricks or a custom order. Here's the kicker if I want to exchange them instead I have to first purchase the exchanging items, they charge my card again. Once they get my return then they credit my account for the original purchase. Sounds like an opportunity for them to come up with some random excuse of not refunding to entire original purchase amount. Or who knows, Still charging me the "restock" fee. Then me running around trying to get it refunded. They make it too complicated and all about making as much extra dollars as they can. I should have followed my gut the first time I hit the purchase button online. Two times they locked down my money in my account for 3 days but there was no order accepted. I had to call them and ask them to release my money. I will never use this company again! Seems too shady

I purchased on the 9th of October with another pair was added by the system into my cart, so I got 2 shoes, the one i actually want to purchase (size 9) and the other one (size 8). The payment got through with no other layer of confirmation. 2 minutes after receiving the email confirmation, I send shoebuy an email stating that only 1 pair of shoe i want to buy and the other one got charged by mistake. Yet since then i got no reply from Shoebuy, then i send 2 more emailsand got no reply, afterwards, I have tried to call the customer service number 3 times:

This company shipped me some out of date shoes that were poorly packed without any air bags for cushioning. Free shipping always comes with consequences, since your parcels are always jostled around and handled much more by the shipping carriers, than they would be during expedited shipping. When I opened the bag, I saw that the shoebox was torn open on both ends and the shoes inside were damaged. I wasn't responsible for the damage, so I called their customer service department on the phone. After giving them a mouthful about their sloppy packing and shipping, I was told that I would have my restocking fee returned to me right away. A few days later, when the shoes arrived back at their warehouse, I saw that my refund was for less than I paid for the shoes, even when I added the restocking fee to my credit. They still owed me $8.50 cents that they failed to credit me for. This company should be flagged as a sham at the very least, and their return policies are extremely misleading and deceptive. Go to a genuine dealer to purchase your shoes, you won't be sorry!

I ordered two identical pair of Reef flip flops and they took 2 weeks to arrive (strike 1). They ran VERY small and unfortunately had to be returned. First, they required I call them to start the return process (strike 2). Then their automated system doesn't accept responses, which required me to sit through the looooong prerecorded message before I could be placed on hold (strike 3 and 4). After a two very, very LONG hold times (first time I had to give up after an hour on hold to go into a meeting), second time I waited 45 minutes to get a human to start my return (strike 5), just to be told I was going to be charged a RESTOCKING fee for brand new, unworn shoes (STRIKE 6)! Worst experience ever buying online and I'm never buying from Shoes.com again. Please avoid this company with almost non-existent customer service.
I would rate them a big 0! The shoes look nothing like the pictures and had to get PayPal to get my money back coz they wouldn't let me return coz it was past the 30 days. They do 30 days from the time you order, these shoes come from China so it takes about 3-4 weeks to get them to begin with! DON'T ORDER PERIOD!
Disappointed to find that the "FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING" they tout was a sham. There was no place to enter the magic code at Checkout, so I called in mid-order to inquire, and was instructed to complete the transaction. She assured me that she had changed to the FREE overnight shipping, rather than the 7 day ground. That was 5 days ago, and when tracking the UPS delivery, I see the order MAY arrive before Christmas... or not! (A good 8 days after the order.)

This company took 3 weeks to get me my work boots that cost me $200 when they arrived the sole is coming off the boots, which isn't there fault but I can't even return them without sending them pictures of the boots and letting them decide if there defective, which will take 5-10 business days.

The Company sent an email with old worn shoe pictures and returned the Shoes that I had purchased to me. The Shoes I purchased and that I have in my possession are NOT the ones pictured. Originally when I received them I tried them on and they were too small so I got authorization to return them. Since I've been a long time customer purchasing several pairs over the years I'm surprised with the company's deceptive practice.
