$70 for a trash can with a foot operated lid, well worth it for actual lasting quality. The only requirement is the lid open when the pedal is pressed, Simplehuman can't pull it off. The lid broke when a child under 40lbs. Was depressing the pedal. The website claimed a 10 year warranty which this can is well within, an email from Simplehuman stated it was only 2 years, how convenient. They no longer offer parts for the overpriced, underbuilt trashcan but are eager enough to take our money again, for another poor quality product that they've offered a 20% coupon. Planned obsolescence on sale!
I recently bought the latest automatic soap dispenser. It has a sleek design and is USB chargeable.
Unfortunately, the soap delivery is intermittent and the battery charge last only one week. I wouldn't buy it again. It is expensive and less useful and reliable than similar products at a quarter of the price.
